I was shooting in a North Easterly direction into the desert in Apache Junction, Arizonia

Full Description & Details

I didn't realize that I had made a sighting until just recently when I was going back through some old pics to upload to Facebook. I was attempting to photograph a lightning strike over the desert in Arizonia. I was attempting to do this by setting my Digital SLR to take long exposures of approx. 15 seconds, rather than trying to press the shutter as the strike occurred. I took approx. (20) photos, all from the same tri-pod mounted camera position. I was using an electronic shutter release. I am going to upload (3) photos.

(1) photo will be of a full lightning strike in which you can see how low and dense the clouds where.

(1) photo of the suspected sighting, object is located at the top of the frame in the center.

there was no moon and the object created no streaks that would normally be indicative of a moving object shot with a long exposure, so what ever this is was either stationary or flashed in and out. I wasn't paying attention to shot (focusing on the sky) the entire time. So it could have apperared and disappeared without me noticing.

(1) photo showing what the sky looked like without a lightning strike or unidentified object.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I don't know, the weather conditions as you can see from the lightning strike were pretty rough at that altitude. The object would have had to create it's own light to show up on the image

Witness Background

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I believe that they could and do exist. I have seen lights moving through the sky at night that appear to move behind the stars. It would also be egosistical to think that we are the only planet in the universe (known or otherwise) that could evolve into a race the way we have.

Other Comments

This kind of sums up view point of the things we don't have proof of People don't believe in Bigfoot, but growing up I lived in rural Mississippi, Arkansas, California and Oregon. I spent many many hours in the woods hunting, fishing, trapping-etc. It's very difficult to spot animals that don't want to be spotted. Given that, if Bigfoot had any intelligence at all he wouldn't have any problem avoiding contact with humans.
