Appearance / Description of Object(s)
It appeared oval, walnut-like shape, metallic with slightly lighter colour on the bottom as on top of the craft. The colour was a dark metallic grey. The shape was clear defined, oval without any appendages such as wings, rotor blades, tail or any propulsion emissions.
Size of Object(s)
Hard to say - it appeared about the size of what a large helicopter cabin (without rotors or tail) would be
Description of Area / Surroundings
It was over a suburb of Perth. unobstructed views to the sky at the moment of sighting, in clear unclouded skies. To the South of this location, there is a small airport for private small airplanes.
Full Description & Details
On 6th July around lunchtime, I was driving in direction West in the suburb of Canning Vale, when I saw a strange object traveling from North to South, flying at considerable speed. I thought it looked nut-shaped, metallic (but not too shiny) and seemed to tilt a bit from side to side- not fast but regular. First thought was a balloon, but it was too fast and too much straight flying in a horizontal direction (not vertical as a balloon might travel) It seemed to be propelled and not just drifting.
Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
I know of no such man-made objects that have this appearance and speed of travel. As mentioned, there were no wings, rotators or even a sign of conventional propulsion systems visible. It was definitely no bird or cloud or planet. Since it was bright daylight, I can say that with certainty.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting
After witnessing a couple of strange things in the sky (with heaps of witnesses around me) in Canada many years ago, I have kept an open mind. I automatically look up often, just in case there is something interesting to see. In my opinion, there is way too much sightings to ignore and I can not understand the motion of some people to treat such experiences with ridicule. I think that most people are hesitant to come forward with what they have witnessed out of concern of how they are viewed by others if they do so.
