UFO Sighting Report

June, 28, 2013

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Bright orange light travelling across the sky from North to South.

Date Reported:

7/22/2013 7:44:44 PM

Sighting Time:

No. of Witnesses:

30 seconds

Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Very bright deep orange circle. Bright white in the center.

Size of Object(s)

With arms stretched out if I were to mimic an almost full pinch of the object, the object would be a 1/4" in diameter when it was visibly closest to us. This is looking up towards the West at a 45 degree angle as it cut across the sky. If I was to comparing it to one of the airplanes that flew by shortly after my guesstimate would be the same size as an Sesna's wing span. Around 25 feet in diameter.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Residential area close to downtown Winnipeg.

Full Description & Details

Is was roughly around 11:15-11:30 pm while cleaning up after a bonfire in my backyard. My wife had gone to bed already and a few friends that visited earlier had left with the exception of one. We actually hung out in the backyard because there were Northern Lights actually showing in the North East. Rarely ever seen in the city anymore!

As we were observing the lights I had I ran into my house to retrieve my Canon 7D dslr to take some time lapse photos of the night. Turned out ok but the Northern Lights were diminishing. Moments after we sae this bright orange object coming in from the North and travelling Southward. It didn't have the usual lights an aircraft did. We thought it maybe a firework or a meteor but there is no possible way those objects would continue on the same path with outfalling from gravity. This object was flying, but it also had a wavering trait to it. And absolutely no sound whatsoever! We saw to prop planes in shortly after. All with the typical lights. Wasn't a helicopter as the news and police helicopter routinely fly above in the area.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No. Absolutely not. Someone said a Chinese lantern but I've concluded that there was now way it could have been because of the intensity of the light did not fade in the distance.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I need to see one to believe one. And I believe I actually saw one for the first time! That said I've always had an interest in ufology, reading mostly information online or on tv shows.
