Appearance / Description of Object(s)
At the time of the sighting, I thought it was much too low in the atmosphere to be the ISS. It had no blnking white, red or green lights. I looked at it with high powered binoculars, but could see no details other than the white light seemed almost squarish in shape.
Description of Area / Surroundings
rural area, star gazing party in a park just outside of Dripping Springs. Windy, cloudy conditions, but clear in the east.
Full Description & Details
At about 8:30 we saw a very bright non-blinking white light, lower than the highest clouds in the atmosphere, moving extremely fast in the eastern sky (only the space station is known to move that fast), moving due north. We thought it was the international space station, but when I checked online the ISS orbit at 9:30, it would have been passing over north America from the southwest to the northeast at that time.
