Forester Encounters Mine-Like Entities in Scotland (the Dechmont Woods Encounter) Featured Case

November, 9, 1979 - Livingston, Scotland, United Kingdom

Robert Taylor, a forester from West Lothian, Scotland, encountered a strange object and equally strange smaller objects or "entities". The rounded larger object, 20 feet in diameter, hovered above the ground. Then, two small objects, which were round but had appendages, "rushed" toward him. These objects each attached itself to one (each) of his trouser legs and tugged him towards the larger object, at which time Taylor lost consciousness. Landed UFO and humanoid encountered by four hunters in Spain

November, 24, 1978 - Gerena, Seville, Spain

The four witnesses were hunting in the early morning hours near the Guadiamar River, when they encountered a landed object with a humanoid being standing next to it. The UFO looked like a large earthen jar, upside down, with a red light on top. The being seemed strong and tall (some 2 meters or taller), and had on a dark-colored helmet and silvery body suit. The witnesses become frightened when the humanoid approached them, and they left the area running.  View full report

Man has close encounter with UFO occupants (the Dawson encounter)

August, 6, 1977 - Pelham, Georgia, United States

Retired automobile salesman Tom Dawson, 63, was walking with his two dogs from his trailer home to a nearby farm when a "circular shaped space ship" with a dome and portholes, 40-50 ft in diameter and 12-14 ft high, set down in a field in front of him. He found he was unable to move a muscle. A hatch in the object opened, a ramp was extended, and 7 strange looking humans 5 ft tall emerged, five men and two women.  View full report

This was a saucer type "ship" with multi colored lights on the edge that landed in the back yard after appearing behind some trees 20 yards behind the house. I woke up in my girlfriend an my bedroom on the second floor, looked out the window and saw the lights.  View full report

Man has encounter with 35 beings from landed UFO

Gold prospector "Albert Smith" noticed three lights in the sky, which moved down toward him and then nestled in a clump of trees near his camp. He saw figures emerge amid dazzling lights. Thus began the most incredible, two days in the life of 47-rear-old Albert, in which he claims he was visited by people from another world at his lonely camp on the Bulloo River in far southwest Queensland.  View full report

Three boys frightened by strange creatures from landed UFO

On the night of May 20, 1977, three Contra Costa County boys say they saw an object resembling a flying saucer land in West Pittsburg. They fled in terror when strange creatures came toward them, walking like stiff robots surrounded by smoke or steam vapor. The Center for UFO Studies, directed by J. Landing of dome-shaped UFO witnessed at close range in Kettering, Tasmania

February, 1976 - Kettering, Australia

A 39 year-old man in Little Oyster Cove encountered an extraordinary dome-shaped object which had landed. Through the windows of the metallic object, he saw a tall cylindrical object (which he likened to a ship's compass mounting) and 'motionless grey shapes' (like car seats with headrests seen from the rear), perhaps entities. The object rose slowly from the ground, then increased speed and was gone. The next morning, a circular patch of scorched grass was found at the site.  View full report

UFO lands and humanoid taps young schoolboy on shoulder Featured Case

February, 23, 1975 - Kofu City, Japan

Young Japanese schoolchildren watched a UFO touched down on February 23, 1975. The landing took place near Kofu City, Yamanshi Prefecture, Japan. An occupant allegedly emerged and touched one child on the shoulder, temporarily paralyzing him. The occupant then walked around the craft and reboarded. The boys, in hysterics, ran home to their parents, who observed a large, orange-red light hovering over the vineyard.  View full report

The Isla De Lobos Case in Uruguay Featured Case

October, 28, 1972 - Isla de Lobos, Uruguay

This is a single witness sighting, and yet it has become the best case coming from Uruguay due to the in-depth investigation done by the members of C.I.O.V.I. research group. The witness, Corporal Juan Fuentes saw a landed craft with three occupants at close range for time of about one minute. He attempted to shoot at the occupants but was stopped from doing so. The occupants entered the craft, and the craft rose up and flew away at high speed.  View full report

Occupants seen next to UFO sitting on road

Mrs. Hilda McAfee (a lady in her late 50s) and her elderly mother were on their way home by car when they were disrupted by a blinding light shining from straight ahead. As they passed the object in the road, they saw two men who were clad in pale, blue, bulky quilted coveralls. In the aftermath of the event, both women suffered a burning, aching pain in their chests and arms after the encounter, and "even their bones" seemed to hurt.  View full report

Delphos, Kansas Landing Ring Featured Case

November, 2, 1971 - Delphos, Kansas, United States

16 year old Ronald Johnson was tending the sheep, accompanies by his dog, when the sighting happened. What he suddenly saw was a mushroom shaped object, illuminated by multicolored lights over its entire surface and hovering 25 yards away. Johnson and his family went around the house to the site of the near landing and were surprised... to observe a glowing ring in the ground. Landing and 'giant' occupant encountered by youth in Virginia

May, 1971 - Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States

Walking through a large, open field, a boy with his dog observed a glowing "thing" over a pond located in the open field. The object moved towards the youth, finally stopping near the youth, and slowly settled to the ground. After the craft landed, a door opened straight down toward him and a "man" walked out. According to the witness's description, the creature was "powerfully huge." The being returned to the object, and about ten minutes later the craft "just lifted off."  View full report

UFO with humanoid encountered by two forestry workers in Finland

Two young men, P. Aliranta and E J Sneck, were working in the woods when Aliranta noticed a 15 foot UFO descending in a clearing 50 feet away. As it landed, a little entity just under 3-foot tall glided to the ground from an opening in the underside. Through 3 windows on the UFO, 3 more entities could be seen. As the humanoid was rising into the air one of the men grabbed it by the heel of its boot with its bare hand; he found it burned like a hot iron, and he had to let go at once.  View full report

Landing marks near Lake Anten, Sweden; UFO seen in area

Three round landing marks in a triangular formation were found in the garden of Richard Johansson's small farm near Lake Anten, Sweden. Several witnesses in the area had seen a strange red light, almost the size of the moon, that same night. Soil samples were taken and analyzed, with the results showing an increased level of gamma activity (radiation) in the test samples from one of the landing marks.  View full report

Mr. Luce Fontaine, age 31, a farmer on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, was picking some grass for his rabbits when he saw an object 5 meters in diameter, standing on a "glass foot" like a goblet. It was only 25 meters away. It was dark blue and through the window could be seen two small individuals, only 3 feet tall, dressed from head to foot in bulky coveralls, something like the Michelin "tire man." Two children saw a sphere-shaped UFO, 2 meters in diameter, and "four little devils" on the ground. One of the humanoid beings was bending over, apparently busy with something on the ground, and another held a mirror-like object. They were observed to levitate before quickly entering the UFO and flying away. The UFO was said to make a soft whistling sound and smelled of sulphur.  View full report

The Stephen Michalak Encounter at Falcon Lake Featured Case

May, 20, 1967 - Falcon Lake, Manitoba, Canada

Stephen Michalak of Winnipeg, was prospecting near Falcon Lake, Manitoba, when he encountered two UFOs, one of which landed on a large, flat rock about 160 feet away from him. After having approached the object and looked inside, the object moved, and something like an exhaust vent was now in front of him. A blast of hot gas shot from these holes onto his chest, setting his shirt and undershirt on fire and causing him severe pain, and leaving burn marks in the shape of a grid.  View full report

Young Randy E. Rotenberger was waiting for the school bus outside his home when he saw "some flashing lights," then an object. "It looked like two bowls put together," the witness told an AP reporter. He saw three "pegs" on the bottom and antennae projecting from the top. Later, "some burnt marks" and tapered holes were found at the scene, each about a foot in diameter and five inches deep.  View full report

More than 200 students and staff from two schools watched as the object landed in a nearby paddock, lifted off and vanished. It was a low-flying, silver/grey shining object, either of classical flying saucer shape or close to it, "a cup turned upside down on a saucer". Canadian Navy seaman witnesses object on beach

November, 30, 1965 - Cornwallis, Nova Scotia, Canada

Seaman Ian Kinsey, of Her Majesty's Coastal Service, was on his 2-4 a.m. watch at the Cornwallis station. When he looked out towards the shoreline, he saw a sharply oval, yellow object resting on the beach. The UFO was "lit up," but not glaring. Five minutes later a sliding door on the object's side opened and a smaller, cigarette-shaped UFO entered the larger object through the door. A similar sighting took place a few hours before in Springhill, about 125 miles from Cornwallis.  View full report
