It was a grew oval about 100 feet across. there was a circular outline of yellow lights on its underside. It made my car breakdown. There was no sound, but the air looked like it was Boiling. When it moved the air boiled around it.

It was probably 100 feet wide, 70 feet long, and 30 feet high.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

It started abot 150 feet above me, and when I followed it hovered 30 feet above the car.

It was started on a freeway, but I followed it to a side road.

I was on the freeway heading south when I saw a large object hovering in the sky. It started to move away, and I followed it down a side road. It suddenly stopped above my car and hovered there for several minutes. My car stopped and would not turn on. The UFO then shot way up and dissapeared. My Car still woumd not start, and I had to have somone jump-start it.

It was a silver disk with a ring of very bright searchlights around it. It made no sound.

It was about 3 inches across and a quarter of an inch tall. It was probably 20 feet high and 50 feet wide.

It was in the mountain/foothill area of Santa Barbara

I was hiking in the mountains behind Santa Barbara at dusk when I saw a bright light in the sky. It was much bigger and brighter then the stars. It got bigger and closer over the next several seconds. It appered to be a silver disk with a bright ring of search-lights around the rim. It then moved farther away and across the sky.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It could possibly have been a very large falling satelite.

Just glowing object over the cloud.

So i'm not sure whether or not it's merely reflections of a lightening instrument.

I've already uploaded my record on Youtube.

However, the reason why I make a report to you is

because of the sound of my clip.

Whenever I played this clip, I felt some kind of chilling,,

and I found my feeling was from the sound of this clip..

it's the beginning part of this clip.

I'm not sure but It would be good if someone make a good answer.

Looked like a ball of fire, flickering like a flame / fire does.

From the distance it was from me, it seemed to be much larger than a helicopter, maybe 4 or 5 times the size.

It was over a residential area at the north side of Carluke.

Travelling along a back road around 10.40pm towards Carluke. To my right was the edge of Carluke where is saw an orange glow in the sky. the glow was probably around half a mile away fom me, and it seemed to flicker like a flame and was large (4-5 times the size of a helicopter). The object hovered and moved for a few seconds, before it slowly moved behind cloud cover. As it disappeared behind the cloud cover, the light that it gave off could be seen glowing through the cloud, and surrounding nigth sky. I heard no sound from this object as it moved,

Just been reading a report of a sighting of orange lights on dec 31 2009 in our area. On the same night but earlier on (about 9.30) we saw the same sort of thing. We saw 3 orange lights floating over st Thomas' church heading toward shaw . We deduced that they were those lanterns that people light like a paper chinese lanterns ,as they lasted for a few minutes then just disappeared. I wonder if the other sighting was the same thing.

Driving in my car, I noticed a group of lights in the sky at around 6.30pm (daylight).

I sensed a UFO was above the car, I stopped and the area normally a busy road was still and quite.

I looked through the passenger window and saw a UFO close up, I mean close up, just above a house rooftop.

The UFO was silver, disc shaped with small windows (about 4 in total).

The symbols consisted of 3 triangles with the middle triangle upside down..!!

I watched a quiz called Fifteen to One on Channel 4 television in the UK 3 years later and was amazed to see the same symbols on a card held up as a question, the answer was it meant the earth's elements, so can someone explain this please..???

The underside of the UFO was inwards like a trumpet, with black panels equal spread around the rim of the craft.

When I opened my car door to have a better look, the UFO had gone.

It's weird that I knew I had to lean across to look out of the passenger window, I sensed the UFO above my car.

I was waiting with a couple of friends for a taxi after we had been to a party. Standing at the door of the pub, I started to look around. In the distance just above the hills, I saw an elliptical light. It moved to the left and then to the right, then back again. I turned to my friend and pointed it out to her. Shortly after, the light vanished with no trace left. I looked left and right and the light had completely disappeared.

To just vanish like it did, I feel there is no explanation for it

I was on my way to the bus stop when I saw a cigar shaped object just sitting there then it flew into a cloud, it looked like it had windows the object was light blue.
