This photo is an obvious hoax. Look at the reflection of the tree in the water. Do you see a wavy oval such as the object above the tree. I certainly do not. :) We all want to believe but at what expense...the mockery of the entire community? I know time is sometimes the enemy but you have a few others that are obvious hoaxs if you take the time and investigate. The UFO community has too many fighting against us and the truth.

It was high in the sky but I never took my eyes off it as it travelled across the sky...difficult to estimate actual size.

It was above the white cloud that it briefly disappeared behind, then reappeared.

Rural area and Yeovilton Air Base was about 10 mile South but the object showed no sign of slowing...it just shot from North to South in about 8 seconds.

I lived with my Son in a flat at Street in Somerset in the United Kingdom.

One Sunday Afternoon my Son was playing football with his mates and I laid on the grass enjoying the warmth of the Sun.

I looked left (North) at the Mendip Hills and saw this oval metallic looking object, slightly tilted, moving very fast in the blue sky.

It disappeared briefly behind a white cloud and reappeared and in about 8 seconds it disappeared over the Southern horizon.

I shouted my Son but by the time he answered the object had gone and there was not a sound.

It looked exactly as I have seen photographs of UFO's...I wondered at the time why a obviously metallic looking object could travel that fast through the sky and not create a sonic boom.

I wanted my sceptic Son to see it but if I had took my eyes off it I don't think I would have been able to pick it up again. Some years later I saw a huge black Triangle very low over the town of Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk UK about 0530 one Saturday morning. If it had been a conventional aircraft it would have awoken the whole town. Someone said it may have been a stealth aircraft. They are quiet but not that quiet!

Why on Earth didn't I make a note of the date and exact time of the Glastonbury incident.

The thought never occured to me for some strange reason.

At around 11:15am or so, while I was in the city, I had the sudden urge to look up to the sky to realise what to me was a very familiar indication that I was seeing UFOs as the orb looking round lights hovering above a crisp and unfathomably clear blue sky with not a cloud in the sky could not simply be dismissed as something other than what I had expected albeit in my wishful thinking to happen for some time.

Upon being the first person to notice these ufos, I quickly alerted the others to come at look at the sky and to everybody's amazement, they were seeing exactly the same thing as myself.

The orbs or ufos came from all direction of the sky to then mingle among themselves into a position whereby they kept slowly but quite intelligently positioning themselves in relation to each other, forming what looked to be certain star pattern observable at night such as the star system orion and southern cross.

The flight pattern of these ufos seemed deliberate, some staying stationary up in the air whilst others were moving about, with some bllinking it's light and at least one coming very close within the vincinity of our observation point doing spectacular zig-zag motion in a downward flight path impossible for conventional aircraft to mimic.

Whilst most of these clusters of ufos seemed to be hovering in a very high altitude say, at least 10 odd kilometers or so, the most memorable incident happen when some of the witness shouted 'hey look' which caught my attention looking in the direction that they observed to suddenly realise like a swarm of bees or flock of birds, many orbs clustered tightly together flew very low from one direction to another moving so rapidly but managing not to hit each other whilst traveling that fast and for a brief moment, they all just disappeared while the cluster above stayed around where they previously were.

The texture of some of these orbs had a blue grayish tinge to them while most of the others where just lit up with yellowish pulsing light, with some fusing together and others simply joined to each other just a long party baloon where you can seprate one section from another to mimic different sections of a witchitigrub.

All in all I believe anyway, they knew we were observing it and I knew they were letting themselves be observed by the few who was fortunate enough to see them. Everything has a purpose and they were defintely not of any terrestrial phenomenon but something quite distintly extraterrestrial.

I am certain that seeing as a Qantus airplane flew by along with one other smaller plane with propella driven engine right on top of the city whilst this was happening, I am sure the authorities would no doubt have an indication of radar signatures around 11am to 12:20pm period of an unidentified group of flying objects right above the city area that should not have been there at that particular time which in all likely scenario, they would not disclose, the only outcome of this incident would in all likely case end up as just another incience of people seeing apparitions caused by something they can readily dismiss as flares or something.

I've had quite an extensive exposue to the area of ufology. As most people do believe they exist but with a twinge of skepticism for self protection from ridicule, people still put up barriers around this very important topic because the government has been successful with their machinations of making this topic look quite ridiculous through their various agencies that thwart any shred of the truthfulness of its existence from gaining any light upon the world by stubborn refusal to admit their involvement regarding this topic along with their extensive gathering of information about them since early 1900's. I feel it important that the truth has to be told about the existence of extraterrestrial intelligences and it's involvement in terrestrial affairs, otherwise more apocalyptical events will overshadow this planet due to the fault of mankind not being able to live peace and harmony because they have been exploited, subjugated and wrongly led astray by the very people who they depend on for genuine care, guidance and protection. Unless many people from top down address this issue very quickly, the hope of peace in this world will diminish with time as environmental disasters and catatrophe will befall human being whilst they continue to ignore the signs becasue they are inurded by the forces of the corrupt media, brainwashing them and making them so docile that they rarely think for themselves.

I went out on my back deck late in the evening around midnight or later to relax and look at the stars and sky with just my naked eyes.

After just a short time looking up I noticed a light come on just where I was looking in the sky, almost directly overhead slightly to the WSW.

It looked about as bright as a star like Arcturis, and it was moving in a westerly direction and slightly changing color from a whitish yellow to a orangish yellow before vanishing.

The light traveled about 1 inch of sky with my outstreched arm and for about 5 seconds.

There was no visible craft or ship seen, only the light, and the distance was very far away, maybe extra solarsystem or even possibly further.

I couldn't rationalize what I had seen with any terrestrial phenomonym or astronomical events.

I have an open mind about anything I see in the sky and I believe that others have given creditable testamony of their observations in the sky and heavens.

Based on what I observed I could only explain it as an extra terrestial craft in near galatic vicinity doing a nuclear (or other propulsion system) burn for a short duration to proceed or accellerate that ship on a new vector to wherever it was going to next!

It could have been a Type II or even Type III civilization expeditionary craft on a patrol in our solar system's vicinity, maybe even aware of Earth's development but not giving it any scrutiny other then observation from its distant proximity and undetectability by us other then its propulsion system!

I doubt it, since it was not going in direction of airline skylanes, was not a meteor, star, satellite, space station or space junk, or shuttle or missle. It was just a light that came on changed color slightly moved one inch and 5 seconds later dimmed out!

I theorized after the viewing that if it was an alien craft it was somewhere in our galatic vicinity, suddenly starting its nuclear engines to accelerate on a vector for 5 seconds gaining enough speed and then shutting down the engines either off or to an unvisible level of propulsion to another destination.

I was playing around with my new phone which has a camera and was just snapping photos from my office window. This was taken at about 11.00am on Thursday the 27th of July 2006. When I downloaded them tonight I noticed this strange elongated shape in this photo . Whatever it is it wasn't noticeable when looking out of the window and although it looks like it's about to crash into the building , it obviously didn't. I'm not really sure what it is but I thought you guys might be interested. My office is in Adelaide, South Australia and although it was cold when I took the photo it was otherwise a reasonably sunny day with only a few clouds around.

My family and I had driven into Medford, Oregon, for late-night grocerey shopping after returning from out-of-town. It must have been eleven or so -- pretty late for our quiet neighborhood. We pulled into the driveway, started to unload the trunk. My younger brother called to me as I walked to the back door with a load of bags, "Look, a firefly!"

My parents and brother were just standing there, facing east, frozen, looking up at the sky, so I doubled back. Sure enough, a bright yellow-orange, star-like object was flitting around above us. But, instead of being a small, nearby object, I quickly realized it was, instead, quite sizeable, and far-off -- a fact my father soon pointed out.

It was an easy mistake to make; whatever this was certainly moved like a bug -- it appeared to be maiking its way south, but would often bop up and down, or jerk backwards, then forwards again, and change its speed and altitude with astonishing ease.

It really didn't move like anything I, or my family, had ever seen before. It was (mostly) far too fast for a hot-air balloon, blimp, or helicopter. It was much too agile for a plane, and too bright for a jet. Besides, jets can't jerk around like this thing could -- doubling back on themselves, or changing direction/velocity so quickly.

It moved from the north end of Medford to the south end, then passed over Phoenix and Talent before fading out of sight above the ridge across from Ashland. It stayed mostly 4 or so miles above the Valley, and was visible for only about three minutes.

No. My father's dad was a Navy pilot, and my dad grew up knowing about aircraft -- my dad was definitely baffled. And, from all I've seen growing up in San Jose (Calif.) and Los Angeles, this thing wasn't like any regular airplane/blimp/helicopter/whatever I've ever seen.

Never read much or cared much about UFOs, but I started watching the occasional special on the History channel (or, you know, whatever) since my sighting, and found the object I saw to move quite similarly to various footage.

We went out and was we were enjoying our day but then they all went toa bar but I stayed outside smoking my sigarett. Then i went inside a toilet. When I comed back I herd thisstrange weerd noise I thought it was a car or some kind of music. But thenwhen uturned around I saw this wierd flying object. I was scared, exited. I looked a it for about 5sec. then I run inside a bar to call my friends. When we returned there was nothing and we saw something flying away at a really big speed, and it faded away.

While my brother and I were working on my truck Tuesday night, I noticed a bright, blue light - it originated out of the S/SW, headed N/NE and was just a quick burst of light. I have a relative in Jarrell who also witnessed the light - he noticed a small tail. Unfortunately, I was under the cover of a few shade trees and missed the actual object.

This report is based on an event I experienced some 25 years ago when I was a petty officer 2nd class abourd the USS Forrestal. Specific details as to dates and exact geographic position are fuzzy. I believe we were transiting the Straights of Mecina in the summer of 1981 (between Italy and Siccily) and tehn probably out into the open sea (Med).

I was on watch as a radarman in the combat information center manning a surface radar console. At roughly 11:00 p.m. a friend stopped in and asked me to come up to the signal bridge when I got off work at midnight. When I arrived at the signal bridge (in the superstructure just above the captain's bridge) I could make out a number of people in the darkness and could hear a lot of quiet talking. My friend pointed out a bright orange star in the night sky (it was very clear) and asked what i reckoned it was. I told him I thought it was probably Mars, Jupitor or Saturn. He told me to take a look at it through the "big eyes" (high powered, mounted binoculars). What I saw stunned me. I saw a spherical object, with a bright corona and clearly delineated contours (it looked like photos of the sun rather than a light bulb where contours are diffuse). It appeared to tumble end over end and spin like a top at the same time. This strange appearence was suggested by what appeared to be moving internal lights as well as color changes within the object itself. The colors had a liquid fluidity to them which gave the object the appearnce of spinning and tumbling while remaining stationary.

Because there was nothing to compare the object to I can't make any estimates on the scale of the object or its distance from the ship. A meteorologist arrived on the scene and said it was ball lightening. At first this sounded reasonable (as I didn't know what ball lightening was) but I noticed that the object maintained its relative position to the ship and its height above the horizon even though we were cruising at a particular course and speed for some time.

I went down to the captain's bridge where I witnessed the officer of the deck ( a young ensign) and a number of other officers and enlisted men talking excitiedly about what we were all seeing. I listened to the officer of the deck communicate with other ships in company via the red phone (an encrypted frequency) about the object.

I went out to the signal deck again. Along with a number of other people I watched the object till it was lost in the morning sun some 6 hours later just as 2 other objects of differnt shape were spotted off the starboard bow (one I recall was vaguely triangular). No contacts were ever picked up by either surface or air radars. At one point in the evening I saw with my peripheral vision what I believed to be a meteor cross the sky from the back of the ship to the front. We noticed the object was gone afterwards. Some minutes later we saw a meteor-like streak in the sky come from the opposite horizon behind us moving towards the ship and then noticed that the object was back in its position again.

As I said, it maintained a constant relative distance, height and position to our ship over many hours. Natural phenomenon wouldn't do that. As far as being an aircraft . . . it made no sound. I was stationed aboard an aircraft carrier. I was very familiar with military aircraft of many types both in terms of their sounds, speed, and how they appeared in flight at high speeds. This didn't resemble any of those craft in any way.

I didn't think much about UF's before hand. I became interested afterwards and read a lot of literature on the phenomenon in later years. I don't know what they are. They suggest an intelligence other than our own co-exists with us. Whether they are from other planets or are something we so alien we can't conceptualize what they might be, I don't know. I think a lot of the UFO theories (and the counter theories by skeptics) are a bit irrational and often silly. All these conspiracy theories remind me of the kind of things conjured up and aimed at the Jews by Europeans (and now Arabs) for centuries. Crazy hyped up inventions. But something is certainly here with us in my opinion. What that is . . . . who the hell knows.
