Without a zoom lence it was a short glowing tube of light. It looked like a aeroplane trail, except it was short and had a definite outline, with no blurring at the ends. When we looked through with a zoom lence camera and took a photo it showed the tube to have a hollow centre and a slightly blurred end/tail. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v730/sarahs_abydos/100_0489.jpg - From the sighting on the 18th July. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v730/sarahs_abydos/UFO.jpg - Same photo but zoomed in. On the 20th of July and on the times we saw it in 2004 it appeared in exactly the same place with exactly the same appearance.

In a town. The object was probably above the local park area, near to the centre of town. In close proximity of Farnborough Airport, but in 2004 they confirmed that the light had nothing to do with them. Aldershot is also home to military, but they also confirmed in 2004 that it had nothing to do with them. Nothing has yet appeared about the sightings this year.

This is a description of the sighting that happened at 8:45pm on July 20th 2006.

My sister was in the garden talking to a friend over the fence and she spotted the glowing tube (which we have seen several times before) in the sky again. It was quite low and not very bright due to the sun not being low enough yet.

The overall object was longer than usual, probably double the size. It stayed in the sky for about 5 minutes and was completely stationary during that time. It almost looked like a plane trail, but it wasn't fading or blurred. It was a very sharp edged bright light.

It looked and appeared in exactly the same way and place as it did in 2004. In summer 2004 from July-August it would appear every 2 days at a simular time. So, when we saw it again on the 18th July we were curious to see if it would appear again on the 20th, which it obviously did as we are writing this report.

Everytime it appears it is just above the sunset, maybe about 20 degrees to the right of the setting sun. It's usually high enough to be seen above the house roofs from ground level. Sometimes it is higher. It appears for approximately 5 minutes and then fades out suddenly or just vanishes. It doesn't move and has no velocity. It just sits in the sky before vanishing. However, on several occasions in 2004 it moved either suddenly up into the sky and vanished, or moved down below the horizon. This hasn't happened in the 2 sightings so far in 2006.

We have only ever seen it once per evening on the every other day it appears, but tonight (20th July) it appeared twice. The second time it appeared was at 9:20pm when the sun was much further down and so it was much easier to see. It also appeared brighter and was shorter than the first sighting tonight. It stayed again for roughly 5 minutes without moving, before it faded suddenly and vanished.

Unfortunately, the picture that we got wasn't very clear. We still have the photos from the 18th of July though and that is pretty much exactly what it looked like tonight.

It definitely wasn't a plane because it stayed stationary for the entire 5 minutes or so that it has appeared for on all occasions. It can't be a star/planet/comet because we have checked star charts and recent news of what to spot in the night sky. We can't understand how it could be anything man made because it just doesn't look like anything that is solid or recognisable as a satalite.

When we first saw the object in 2004 we were very open minded to what it could be. We never just brushed it aside as a natural or man made object. We are open minded to believe anything at the moment as we really aren't sure what it is. We don't make a hobbie out of looking for UFOs, but it's exciting and interesting when it's happening pretty much just outside our windows.

A classic disc. It covering looks like the antiradar. It is no shine as metallic, it was a dim. And there was no sound, but I felt it's power.

There was a holiday "60 years after ending of Great Patriotic War". I was on duty as a patrol officer on the central area of city. There was a salut from 10:00 PM to 10:10 PM. A great lights shined to the sky. All people went home. Nobody looked at the sky (all was drunk). Equally in 10:15 PM there is a big grey metallic flying disc rise from the side of salut (under river). Nobody seen it. The dics was not shine at the lights, it masked, looks like F117 "Stealth". It fly above my head on the height about 15-20 meters and hidden behind church. It fly on a difficult traectory.
