was doing my school project ...about ufo....but got bored so go and play football with my friends....half way through the game we saw i saw something of a boomeran shape lpatinum looking and very high up the sky flying against the wind.the whole duration was about 5 seconds.then we loss sight of it.

I was seven years old and in the year of 1979 I couldnt sleep I was looking outside of my bedroom window and in the sky noticed three lights in the sky in the distance zooming very fast all over. I became frightened I knew what I was seeing was going to fast to be an airplane so I went upstairs to my parents bedroom and crawled into their bed. I continued to look out the window beside their bed. I then noticed a very bright disc shaped object glowing that hovered over the patio. It hovered a long time, I was very frightened so I turned by head and slept on my left side. To this day I remember as if it were yesterday and I do not know why I did not wake my parents up.

No and in 27 years my story has not changed I can remember it as if it were yesterday

d. I called my son-in-law and told him to run outside and look up...and I hung up the phone.

He called his uncle who lives in Yorktown Heights and told him to be on the lookout because he had seen it also--He uncle said "Is that why I see 5 army helicopters flying over my neighborhood". I then called the police and reported this sighting and they asked my if I was sleeping...they then said they would investigate this. I looked out of my window and saw a neighbor and asked if he saw anything unusual and he said no...When I went back to my house I told a neighbor and he was very interested--I then heard my phone ringing...It was the Yonkers Police and they said what I saw was the Fugi Blimp! I have seen that blimp before and have seen it recently and I know it is Green and White! I will never forget this sighting.

I was on my way home from work , (I was a staff at Little City in Palatine) it was during dusk and as I walked up to the front enterance of the apartment where I lived at , I heard a strange eerie sound.

I looked up and I saw this strange looking thing hovering up in the sky. It was round and it had different color lights on it. I went and called the police and by the time I called this thing had already gone and left.

The reason I remember it so vividly was our son was a small baby three weeks old. I was up watching TV after having fed the baby and put him back down. I got up to get a drink of water in the kitchen. I did not turn any lights on in the rest of the house just the light from the TV set. The drapes in the family room were closed so it was hard to see just the light from the TV screen. I got to the kitchen sink and looked up and there it was right over our back yard. It was just a few feet from our kitchen window over the back yard. I was just paralyzed for a shor time and stood in awe of it. It was pulsating light and I could see figures inside but couldn't tell what they quite liiked like. I finally made my body move and I ran in the bedroom to get my husband up. By the time he got going and we got back out to the kitchen it was gone but not completely. It hovered around out about a half mile. I watched as it dove and spun and glided so gracefully. My husband never did see what I was pointing out to him and to this day I think he thinks I lost my mind but I know what I saw and I know how close it was to me and I know how frightened I was at the time. Now I wish I had called the police to report it but my husband said no way he didn't want anyone to think his wife was a fruit cake, but I know what I saw and I know I watched the thing fly around for almost 15 minutes. We are directly across from the Greater Peoria Airport and I wanted to call the tower and ask them if they saw it but I didn't do it and now I regret that decision also. I have talked with several other people who have also had an experience that was of an out of this world kind and I want to record it so that others know they are not alone when they say they saw a U.F.O. I did see it very clearly and I did watch it for quite some time before it finally glided out of my line of sight. I went to bed but I did not sleep well for several weeks after that strange occurence. I am not a nut case I can assure you! that this is what really happened.Thanks for letting me record this event.

An extremely bright fireball with a trail. Yellow like fire in color. It travelled left to right slope kind of over 540... so not sure if north south east west...have to look at a map. Again it was very low low in the sky. It was definitley lower than a plane landing at RDU airport and planes do not land in the direction that the fireball was going (sloping down). RDU is on the left side of 540 and the fireball sloped downward to the right side of 540.

RDU airport is nearby but there was no way it was a plane. It was a cold, crisp, extremely clear night. The stars were out. When you are driving on 540 it is a wide open sky. You would have to be blind not to have seen that fireball.

We were driving on 540 towards RDU airport approx 9pm on 1/31/06 but there was no way it was a plane. We were probably near the Lumley road exit or so. An extremely bright fireball thing with a trail went left to right, extremely low in the horizon (sky) and then disappeared (disintigrated). It had a left to right slope travelling direction which was very low in the horizon. We did not even have to look up to see it. It just appeared as we were looking out the windshield as we were driving. It was definitely lower than a plane landing at RDU airport. Also planes do not land at RDU airport in the direction the fireball was going (sloping down). RDU airport is on the left side of 540 there and the fireball went to the right. It seemed to travel in a slow downward sloping direction but lasted I would say 3 seconds.

....when it came to a stop about 20-30 feet directly over me. I base the height at that because there's a 50-70ft pine tree in my yard. It was about half way down the tree. All I saw was the bottom of this thing. Which was round. The easiest way I can describe it, is that it looked like an eggo waffle with pulsing red, orange, and yellow lights that faded into each other in the "squares." I can also estimate that it was about 50 feet wide. It was almost completely silent, except for a very faint hum. ....This time there were atleast four Ufos. 3 of them looked like small white balls of light. The other one looked like a giant triangle with an outline in red lights. We could not tell if it had structure because of the night sky. The white "orbs" dropped glowing stuff from them which appeared to be over the neighbourhood south of mine. The orbs would disappear and reappear in a different location. The triangle appeared to be leading the orbs in a northerly direction towards Somerville, NJ. The orbs were close together with a large space between the triangle. My two friends my brother and I veiwed these things for about 20 minutes, as they moved slowly north and out of sight.

The area is more suburban. The first sighting was between my house and my neighbors, which was about 1500ft. The second was at a friends house down the street, where we moved into the field to view them. These ones also apeared to be over the westren edge of Manville heading towards Somerville. There is an abandoned millitary base of somekind, and a Dept. of Defense chemicals stockpile to the south. I have seen other millitary entering the woods on many different occasions all over town. In the mountain to the southwest I have seen them enter gates and roads that appear to go nowhere. The gates have no tresspasing signs that says U.S. govt. property, with what appears to be a thumb scan for acsses

The first one I saw was when I was in the 4th grade. I was walking home from a friends house when I noticed a flashing light in the sky. When I looked up I froze in fear when it came to a stop about 20-30 feet directly over me. I base the height at that because there's a 50-70ft pine tree in my yard. At some point a ran as fast as I could to the door of my house, which was only a few yards away. Right before I got inside I took one more look, to see it go straight up and disappear at an amazingly fast speed without a sound. I will never forget that night. Also because of it I started to sleep with the lights on untill I was 14.

The next incident took place a few years later and was witnessed by people I was with along with people on the otherside of the town and happened right after the sun went down. On some mornings on the bus to school other kids talked about things they have seen, which mirrors what me and my friends saw.

We always wondered if they were military because we also have seen strange looking jets during the morning hours. I have never herd of or seen them after.

I've seen the planets, which are not 20' above the ground and move as fast as these did. Also comets aren't stationary and do not go straight up from the ground. I've seen the birds above Atlantic city glowing in the night skies from the lights below. I've been to many air shows and have never heard somthing that large make know noise while in flight. Satellites don't hover 20' off the ground. Whether ballons don't disappear than reappear in a different location.

My first sighting was when I was young. Before the incident, the only aliens I ever heard about were Alf and Superman. A few days after the first sighting I saw my first tv show about Ufos. It was unsolved mysteries. When they showed a dramatization of an abduction and vidoe of UFOs. I was never abducted to my knowlege however the thought of waking up to big eyed skinny gray people, was truly frieghtening. I slept with the light on untill I was 14. Over time I gradually accepted that life could exsist elsewhere. I am no longer frieghtened by them, however if I ever saw them face to face I would probably die from fear. I figure we go to other planets and drop satellights and test equipment before going there, so why wouldn't another being do the same. As the case for abductions, we would do the same. If we found an animal on Mars, we would disect it untill there was nothing left of it. Atleast they let us go.

Going high pretty slow got all of a sudden went so fast got out of the Sratoshpere disappered still no sound. Friend saw it to exactly the same deskription. Only saw for about 4 mintues. This sighting occurred early in an October evening in 1967. At the time, I lived in a rural area in southwestern Pennsylvania. On the evening in question, I was going out of the front door of my residence which opened almost due north. Having passed through the doorway, I noticed a glowing object coming toward me out of the north at a distance of about 1 mile. The object moved slowly towards me. At a certain point, it apparently made a 90◦ turn and began moving parallel or horizontally with respect to my position in an easterly direction. The object moved slowly and may have stopped moving. I had sufficient time to go back in the house and retrieve a set of binoculars (I do not recall their optical power). I viewed the object through these binoculars again at a distance of about 1 mile. In magnification, the object appeared to be an elongated, cigar shape. The object’s glow at a distance became a surface of tiny “pin pricks” of light in a yellow-green hue in magnification. These “pin pricks” of light were fewer at the edges or margins of the object and more concentrated or numerous towards the waist or center line of the object and appeared to “twinkle” all over the object. After watching in the binoculars for 15-30 seconds, the reversed its course and moved slowly away on the course on which it had appeared—it moved westerly parallel to my position before turning 90◦ and moving out of sight to the north.

I have been fascinated by the UFO phenomenon since my childhood. This was my first of 2 sightings. To me, the strangest part of the phenomenon is the lack of any physical evidence despite the apparent world-wide prevalence of sightings. Until there exists hard, physical evidence I believe this may be a psychological phenomenon.

Light emitted almost the same color and intensity of a star, the flashes I described were like the brilliance and color of the North star. As stated before, from the naked eye it looked like what I'd expect Saturn to look like if it was viewable from Earth, in the binoculars it looked totally different, brilliant and large, luminious and the randomly occurring sparkles of light were truely breath taking. This is why I am astounded that at least some report of anything isn't available in the local media. Even if it was a mocking "Object mistaking for a UFO was....". The middle darker areas were not visable to the naked eye, only when I put my glasses on them could I make out details, but the details made this object more unbelievable rather than dispelling the mystery.

Unbelievable to me still. Last night I was on the back patio lifting weights when I saw a slow luminious object in the western sky. At first I thought it was a helicopter hovering west of my house. As the object grew brighter, or I focused on it more it began to resemble a blurry saturn. I stood and looked at it a bit, and then climbed a ladder to my roof. It really did look like saturn. I yelled for my 2 daughters to come outside and look. When they saw it they were unsure of what they were seeing. I had them run into the house and get me my binoculars and the phone. When I viewed the object through the binoculars, that's when I became really excited. I yelled at them "It's a UFO, it's a UFO!" I called my brother-in-law and yelled at him to run outside and view this object.

What I saw through the binoculars was a cigar shaped luminious object with dark areas in the middle, which to me looked like a row of windows, and the surface of the object was flashing bright and brilliant lights that resembled the way a diamond sparkles under the lights at a jewelers. The flashes were not concentrated at any one particular spot, they randomly flashed from all points of the object in no particular order or in no pattern. Because of the 2-dimentional nature of objects viewed through binoculars, I could not tell if the craft was a disk, blimp shape (albeit more cigar than blimpish) or what the 3 dimentional shape of this object was, but it was incredibly large and beautiful. My children stood on the patio watching the object until they could no longer see it because of the trees in our yard and the neighbors yard. I managed a total viewing time of approximately 5 minutes, during which time I spoke with my brother-in-law, and later my wife (who was still at work)

My brother-in-law did not get a chance to view the object with anything but the naked eye, and his viewing was delayed because his view from the front yard was obstructed with neighboring homes and vegatation, so while he did see the object, by the time he was on his roof, the best viewing had passed. His first guess was a blimp, but the size, speed and elavation of the object kept that from making him sure of what this object was.

This occurred at roughly 8:45 P.M.

I called the local television station and asked if anyone has reported an object floating over Tucson and the peron said no. My wife contacted another local television station from where she works and the answer was the same. This is unbelievable to me because of the size and relatively long viewing time of this object. I am scouring the local media here today in hopes of some kind of reference to this object no matter what the reference might be.

If this was a blimp, then it was unbelievably large and fast. It travel about 40 miles in 5 or 6 minutes while I viewed it. The desert air allows for great distances of viewing without humidity related hinderences. Also, any commercial blimp like this would be very expensive, and traveling a route towards Mexico where no advertising benefit would be possible isn't something anyone would try to do, this would be a show piece.
