When I was playing football with a friend there was a bright light in the distance, over the north sea. I just thought it was a satellite or star or something. Later on, it was moving past my direction. It became visible, and it seemed to be a greyish traingle. It had one bright light (probably the one I could see previously) and two dimmer ones. Then it had gone past.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

It is probably a plane. It was dark, but it seemed not to be a plane of any sort.

I was not able to see any detail. The only way for me to describe it is as a glowing orb. It was not blindingly bright, but it radiated a bluish white light. The entire object appeared to be the same "lightness" - I saw no dark areas, shadows, etc... Due to the rate of speed it was moving at, it also gave off a small light trail that was very faint.

My initial feeling was that it was about the size of the body of a small helicopter - like the kind that you see on "traffic patrol".

This intersection is just south of Raleigh, NC on Route 401 in Garner. It is an urban area, lots of strip malls, gas stations, etc. There were other people on the streets in cars, but not too many. I would say that in a 1/10th of a mile radius around me, there were no more than 15-20 cars. Most of the businesses in that area were closed.

I was on my way home from work @ 9:40 pm, and was stopped at the bottom of the off ramp from the 440 Inner Beltline to 401 South. I was the only car on the ramp, and I was waiting to make a right onto 401. An orb of light flew over my car from my right to left, and was traveling at an incredible rate of speed. I actually waited for a few moments and rolled down my window to see if I could hear a crash. On the left of this intersection, there is a 3 or 4 story commercial building (the flat roof square type) and the object created a light trail on the ground as it was moving.

My initial reaction when I saw the object was to duck down instinctively in my car. That is how close the object was. I would estimate that it was traveling aprox. 150 yds above the building. Also, there was no noise. I had turned my radio off a couple of minutes earlier, and even with my windows up, if it had been a helicoptor or other conventional craft, I would have been able to hear it clearly.

Of course, there is the RDU Airport to the north-west of where I was(the object was traveling due north, basically following route 401), but there is no way a craft would have been that low and traveling at such an unbelievable rate of speed to be making a landing approach.

I have seen shooting stars and meteor showers on more than one occasion in my life, but I have never seen anything like this.

I do believe in life on other planets, and I do believe that other beings have visited us before. The subject of UFO's is fascinating, and I enjoy watching programs about them whenever I am lucky enough to catch one on TV. While I do find this subject interesting, I have never gone out of my way to research it.

Driving on highway and saw unusual light. It had 3 layers. It was dome like shaped. It was bright but without any colour lights. Lasted for about 30 seconds then disappeared.

I awoke as usual around 6:15 a.m. to get my day started. I headed into my bathroom with the lights off. It's still quite dark outside. Through my window on the second floor I saw a very large bright light in the distance. I thought it was too large to be a star yet it was definitely hovering in place, not moving as an aircraft would. As I got closer to the window I knew it was something unnatural - it was way too bright. I ran to get my binoculars and as I positioned myself on the windowsill to get a steady look from the binoculars, the object moved so quickly away from my line of vision and got smaller in size. But through my binoculars the object's lights gave an eerie crosslike shape and I did see a flashing light on the left side of the craft.

Then just as suddenly as it moved away from sight, it began to move laterally to the right and at a faster speed than any plane would. I often like to go outside when its dark to marvel at the beauty of the stars. Many times I have seen two, sometimes three bright lights in the same spot as I saw this one today, just hovering. When I have stared at them for more than a few minutes, they suddenly begin moving quickly away in different directions.

IT WAS BRIGHT ORANGE IN COLOR , NO NOTICABLE LIGHTS BUT IT MOVED IN A CIRCULAR MOTION AS IT FLEW. THERE WAS NO BLINKING AND NO SOUND, AS IF YOU WOULD HEAR AN AIRPLANE OR HELICOPTER, THIS OBJECT HAD NO SOUND. IT WAS CIRCULAR IN SHAPE.

SEEN FLYING IN THE SKY IN THE CLOUDS ABOVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD MOVING A LITTLE SLOW THEN IT STOPPED SUDDENLY, THEN IT KEPT ON GOING, AND AS IT GOT FURTHER AWAY IT INCREASED IT'S SPEED AND IT DROPPED SOME BRIGHT ORANGE FIRE BALLS OUT OF IT ONE AT A TIME ABOUT THREE TIMES IN A ROW. WE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT COULD OF BEEN COMING OUT OF THE CRAFT BUT IT RESEMBLED FIREBALLS ALSO AND KIND OF LOOKED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO EXPLODE MAYBE, BUT NOT SURE. ALL I KNOW WAS THAT IT WAS NOT A LASER BEAM THAT CAME OUT THE MIDDLE OF THE CRAFT BUT IT WAS BALLS OF FIRE. THEN GRADUALLY THE UFO DISSAPPEARED INTO THE CLOUDS, AND THEN IT WAS VISIBLE AGAIN, THEN IT SUDDENLY JUST DISAPPEARED WITHOUT A TRACE.

I HAVE SEEN A UFO IN THE PASTS WITH MY MOTHER AND MY OLDEST BROTHER IN THE EARLY 1980's. SO WHAT I SAW I KNEW IT WAS A UFO.

On January 10th 1991 I was travelling with a companion to check his trapline At the time I was the wildlife officer for the area of Ft. Resolution and Pine Point Northewest Territories

At approx 11:00 a.m. our snowmobile broke down and we began to walk the 12 miles back to highway no 5 to where we had left the pickup truck, We had been walking approx 5 hours when we stopped under a large tree to have a bite to eat and a coffee. We made a small fire to dry our clothes. The weather was fairly mild for the tme of year. Approx -10c and light snow was falling. The tree we sat under was in the middle of a small clearing, approx 150 in diameter. We had been there for about half an hour when we heard a low humming noise approaching from the east. The humming grew louder until it was right above our location. Suddenly there was a huge flash of light (like a giant flashbulb going off). There was a few seconds gap and then another bright flash, this happened a third time., The humming was similar to a very large motor running at idle. Throbbing almost.! At this time the noise began moving to the west, towrds the highway we were heading for. We sat there for a few minutes wondering what we had just experienced. We packed up our gear and continued walking arriving back at the highway at 11:00 p.m.

At no time did we see anything definitive but only the flashing lights and very loud humming throbbing sound.

On a Sunday afternoon between 2 and 4 pm, a nice sun shining day, I heard a small plane in the Southern Sky, so I used my binoculars 20x50 to spot this plane, but too many trees were blocking in that direction, so I slowly moved my aim towards SW and only in the glare of the Sun was many strange whitish orbs seemingly basking nearly in the rays of the sun at an extreme distance from my standing point.

At first I thought I was seeing cotton wood floating in the air until they moved in all sorts of directions, one I followed with binoculars traveled at un-real speeds with a slight bend heading upwards into a space environment.

I went inside the main floor house apartment to find my friend Joe Crowley who was on the phone with his daughter whom was asking him for money, so Joe came out ten minutes later, and I was pissed at him, until he told me that was his daughter on the phone and she needed F--ken money again.

I told Joe what I saw, and he said they isn’t any cotton wood floating around this time of year.

The object lost interest with the jet, my area is between Chicago and Gary, steelmills, and hundreds of Amoco Oil storrage tanks. And a few Casinos, which I quiet going to, because they rip you off!

4:45 PM after work, I sat outside on the patio with a beer, and seen a passenger jet in the north sky traveling from Chicago and heading east (35 degree) 10,000 feet above Lake Michigan’s shoreline, as a following object was seen below following it, I got my 20x50 binoculars out, the object went ahead of the jet somewhat below, then the sphere object curved back behind the jet, heading away and towards south in my direction.

I kneeled down towards a rail to rest the binoculars, watching this round object heading my direction now at 55 degrees. At this same time a strange and weird kid, a twelve year old boy was hollering towards me, he was in the ally cursing, calling names at me to distract me from seeing this object, Hollering at me “hey what time is it jackass?”

Over and over, then I got up and he ran, and kicked over the garbage can in the ally. I called the Hammond Cops, and an Officer came by, I told him the kid was tormenting me while I seen a strange object below a jet, he said I should report it and checked out the binoculars I had (he said the police also use good binoculars to look into windows).

This thing was under control, it knew what it was doing. Government? Alien Life? Demonic? From another Dimension? I do not know

I saw it in the eastern sky from my balcony, which is in the seventh floor of the building. The object with a bright light was moving in a horizontal position and stayed visible nearly 20 minutes. It looked like it was burning, but it didn`t leave any signs (smoke or else)in the air. The weather at the moment was clear.
