I was in pevely surveying land for a possible new development between Wontour Drive and Route 67. It was late in the day and my crew was packing our equipment back into the van when I happened to look out towards the river over Herculaneum and I saw a strange object near the chimney of the Doe Run smelter. At first I thought it might just be soot or a puff of smoke, but the object began to move in a circular pattern around the chimey and through the smoke. It followed the cone of smoke, staying around its outside and then occasionally darting through the smoke with a quick sideways movement. It did this for a little while, and I was still trying to figure out what it was. I had my digital camera for the surveying, so I snapped a picture, figuring I could show it so someone later on. At that point I figured it must be some kind of an EPA sensor or something, because they've been conducting a lot of studies of the smelter, and this object was definatey taking samples of the smoke. But later on when I started to think about it, I realized it didn't move like anything I've seen before. When I got the picture off the camera, I showed it to my boss and told him what I thought it was, but he told me not to show it to anyone, because he didn't want anyone calling him up and asking questions. However when I showed it to my friends on the crew, they urged me to report it, so I am trying to do that. I don't want a lot of people making trouble, but I really want to get this out there so people know about it.

I was working late at my company trying to get my job done, it was around one in the morning when I went outside the office. I remember that there was a lot wing blowing, so I thought maybe rain was coming, but the sky was not look like rainy night or something like that, it was clear with a lot stars, so I decide to take stairs down to talk to the security guard and I saw him taking the stairs up to meet me, when something weird happen, I looked at front because I felt something and 200 yards away above the trees the spaceship appears slowing down like to land and I yell the security guard to look at it and both saw the spaceship with red, white and blue lights above the trees, not sounds at all, but a lot wing blowing, nothing else just flying above the trees and houses then disappears and the wing blowing stop. Me and the security guard look each other and talk about it and we both agree that was a UFO, because on this small town exactly on that place there is not airports or big fields to land any airplane or helicopter and like I said not sound at all just a lot wing blowing and after the spaceship disappears the wing blowing stop. for me that was the most amaizing thing I never see. I swear this story is real and this is the first time I write about this, But all people around me know the story. I believe in UFO, because I saw one 200 yards in front of me.

On the morning of August 6th between 7:00-7:30AM My wife and I were watching NASA TV from our Direct TV Satellite dish. I was also recording on my tabletop VCR and while we were watching NASA's broadcast of the STS-114 Discovery mission. The Shuttle had undocked from the International Space Station and passed between Australia and New Zealand on it's orbit and was now half way across the Pacific Ocean south of Hawaii and west of Chile. The TV camera located at the back of Space Shuttle Discovery's cargo bay was trained on the Earth's darkened ocean and horizon showing stationary bright and dim stationary lights with some blinking on or above the surface and what appear to be stars in the sky at the bottom of the frame. With the curve of the Earth visible. The view is upside down because of the orientation of the Shuttle (flying upside down). Suddenly one dimly lighted object appeared around 9-o'clock in the frame and quickly traveled down to the lower right around 5-o'clock in the frame and slowing to a stop at the curve of the Earth. A few seconds later a large bright object appears around 4-o'clock in the frame and swiftly travels left across the frame at an upward angle and slows to a stop around 9-o'clock then reverses direction and retraces its path across the frame. Around the same time you will notice a dimly lighted object from around the 1-o'clock position in the frame travel straight down and exits at the bottom of the screen. Also at the same time there is another dimly lighted object around the 8-o'clock position in the frame traveling from left to right at an upward angle across the frame to around the 2-o'clock position in the frame and exits the frame. When the large bright object approaches the 4-o'clock position the camera is panned to the left away from where the object is traveling and clouds appear from the top of the frame and dims half the screen. Then the down link is cut off by NASA TV. The programming comes back on showing the computer graphic of the orientation of the Shuttle and then changes to the Shuttle bay camera again showing the Earth as it's orbit brings it into the lighted part of the Earth. I counted a total of four moving objects. Three dim and one bright. The VHS tape I was recording the broadcast with was recording in the SLP setting (not the best quality) but I converted the footage to DVD format and the video is very clear on a computer monitor. I have sent a copy of this DVD to The National UFO Reporting Center for evaluation. I have also e-mailed stills from the video to the Director.

Location, Snake Pass just west of Ladybower Resevoir, Debyshire

Report,

It was evening time and there was fog along the snake pass on the Derbyshire side of the Pennine Hills. I was driving a Ford Capri 2000 GT V4.

I was heading West towards Manchester, had pased Ladybower Resevoir and was climbing up the Pennines just before the steep lefthand bend in the road.

On my right the hills were heavily wooded and are approximately 2-300ft steeply sloped up from the road. I was just climbing out of the fog into a beautiful late clear blue late autumn evening, ahead was a Volvo estate which I started to overtake.

As I drew alongside the Volvo my engine died, I dipped the clutch and pumped the accelerator, after what seemed like a considerable time, but probably somewhere in the region of 2-3 seconds the engine picked up again and I completed the overtake safely, the strange thing was that the Volvo had not drawn ahead of me in the time I was without power.

As I climbed along the rest of the road up to the top of the snake pass I had the feeling that in my peripheral vision I had seen a strange craft which appeared to be resting on top of the trees at the top of the hill to my right, it was grey with a dull orange dome with what looked like a grey strip running down roughly dissecting the dome into halves.

I crossed the top of the Pennines and started to descend towards Glossop, here the road bends to the right with a very steep drop on the left but with a gravel verge. The view from here is uncluttered and looks over the Lancashire plain towards Manchester Airport.

The evening was very clear and there was an industrial haze over the plain but I was above the top of the haze looking over it when I saw what I thought was a very bright star. However on further observation it became apparent that the 'star' was between me and the horizon.

It was a lovely sight so I pulled onto the gravel verge and stopped, got out of the car and watched the 'star' (object) for a while ...it seemed to be resting stationary just on top of the haze then after probably a minute to 2 minutes it described a flat trajectory arc of 180* travelled into the distance and vanished over the horizon at an incredible speed, far faster than any aircraft could or can travel these days, including Concorde.

I have thought about it on occaisions over the years and have often wondered if I had a UFO experience that evening.

my naration of the experience gives all the details I can remember, however I am reasonably certian that it was a disc shaped object I saw on the top of the hill. The object near Manchester airport looked just like a very bright star or planet, blue/silver type of colour

other occurances including mass sighting at church during daylight as well as seeing that same object propel across the sky stopping just in time to hide behind the moon pausing a few seconds then racing back across the sky- repeating this action once more before leaving the direction opposite that of which it came soon after four helicopters from different directions took off in a pointless chase in it's direction

many more people have been at various diffent sightings with meincluding my mother and friends' of mine's parents i also believe i was abducted from my home as well as my kids and had memory of certain wounds obtained while being tested or marked

and after such occurance was inspected by my wife who found bleeding puncture wounds in the ceiling of my mouth; i also believe i may have been abducted on other occasions as well- many more sightings

Driving on Highway 5 south to LA early morning with my wife and sister in-law. We had just stopped for gas just before Santa Nella and had returned to the highway. At first I noticed a bright light shining in the rear of the drivers side of the vehicle. The object seemed to be following us on the left of the vehicle headed south. When I made the comment as to who was following us my sister in-law looked back and exclaimed she thought it to be an airplane. The object then made it's way to the righte side of the vehicle. It was black and had three bright white lights, it was very agile. I was driving and looked to the right side of the vehicle and a first glance thought it was a private airplane, but after watching it for awhile I noticed it was too small for a plane. The object then crossed in front of the vehicle to the left again into a field and appeared to begin to land. Just as it appeared to begin to land it swiftly swooped back up towards the sky and we didn't see it anymore.
