My family and I were visiting a friend behind Santee School, in Santee Cal. and as the four of us, including our friend, went outside to the car to go home we all saw a strange mist in the air directly across Mission Gorge Road from the school.

There appeared to be a round or oval shaped solid thing inside the mist and it was a soft silver color insde the very white mist. There were numerous little lights dancing around the big thing and going inside it and coming out of it. There wasn't a cloud in the sky that night, nor any fog/mist except around the solid thing/vehicle. It was an extremely clear, crisp winter evening.

The two men, my husband and our friend, thought it was a blimp but, upon later discussion, they both agreed that it wasn't a blimp and that it frightened them so much that they had to come up with the easiet rational explanation they could at the time.

My son and I were not particularly frightened, though we were fascinated and wanted to stay to watch it but, my husband wanted to get out of there, so that was all we saw.

Now, here is the oddest thing about the incident. On looking at the area in daylight afterwards, I noticed that there was a stand of trees where the mist and vehicles? had been. They didn't show any signs of damage whatsoever and it made me wonder if what we had seen was more like a movie as opposed to something solid.

A week or so later we began to have regular sightings, stranger than this first.

Shortly after the initial sighting reported above, I awoke in the middle of the night to see three bright lights on my son's open bedroom door. At first I thought they must be from the fire station down the street so, the next day I asked them if they had been in our area the night before and they said they hadn't gone on any runs that night and the truck was inside the whole time.

I went out in the parking lot the next evening while my husband watched upstairs in the hallway outside our son's room and I tried to see where the lights might have originated but, no matter which direction I shown the flashlight from I couldn't I recreat the lights on his bedroom door. Then my husband tried it and he couldn't do it either.

And, there was more to come.

I was only 5 yrs old and in the large house my Granparents owned, specifically in the diningroom, which seated about 15 people (she ran a small boarding home for the elderly). I was with my mother, grandmother, brother, and uncle (who remembers this vividly.....we still talk about it). It was in the early fall, I believe, and I was coloring on the table. I remember all of a sudden some screaming, mostly by my mother, and she then pulled me off the chair and everyone was huddled in the corner walls of the dining room. A light had come through the window of the dining room, about the size of a basketball, and it was quite luminous but had a three-dimesional sherical volume to it.

The ball hovered above the large dining room table and floated up to the chandelier. I was crying at this stage and my grandmother kept saying to my mom..."Oh My God, Gloria....what the hell is that....what the hell is that!". It was only in the house for about a minute or so, occording to my Mother and Uncle, but it eventually went back outside the same window it came in. There has always been family discussions about this event, and there were times in the past when my Uncle thought it might have been 'Ball Lightning', but he later dismisses this, as did everyone else, since it seemed to have some kind of awareness, or was controlled in some way (not random), since it kept its distance and floated back outside the window. I still remember it like it was yesterday, but I think I was mainly frightened only because my mother was. Three witnresses to this event are still alive.

I have seen three, what I would call, spectacular experiences in my lifetime wrt sightings. The most incredible one took place in 1972 at approx. 12:00 AM near the campus of the Univ. of South FLA. in St. Petersburg, FLA. Another occured over the Barnegat Bay in 1985, and then another on Lacey Rd., late at night, in the town of Forkrd River, NJ. These were most spectacular, and I will elaborate at another time. It's just that I don't want to come across as someone who....hmmm...sees this stuff too often so as to sound 'not credible'.I don't wish to trivialize the incident I have described above, since in a strange kind of way, it has impacted the way my family has thought about 'the stranger things in life'.

walking my dog every night about the same time ,between 12:00 am to 1;00AM.I ALWAYS LIKE TO LOOK UP AT THE NIGHT STARS ,THIS NIGHT I SCEEN THIS ONE MOVING FROM THE EAST BY THE SHORE TO THE WEST OVER HEAD.I THROUGH IT WAS A SATELLITE MOVING ,BUT IT WAS MOVINGING TO FAST TO BE A SATELLITE .IT MOVE FROM EAST TO WEST ABOUT 2/3 THE WAY OVER MY HEAD ,THEN IT STOP FOR ABOUT 2 TO 3 SECONDS ,THEN A BRIGHT BURST OF LIGHT HAPPEN THEN IT DISAPEAR JUST LIKE THAT ? It looked like many pancakes ontop of each other to form 1 silver object. I saw it from about 300 m. It moved at a normal speed, like that of a helicopter. It made no noise. Unfortunately it dissapeared behind the building where I live. To this day I am 100 % sure it was a UFO as I saw it for a full 4-5 seconds.

This is very unusual where I live as there are not many UFO sightings in South Africa

Something started coming down from the high, alike a meteorite ,but no leave tail ,soundlessly stop and started as a coin when down in the water.then stop and with the same movements, fly out in very high speed making an S in it fly out.No noise, no back tail . That was near of Turkeypoint maybe 2 or 3 miles away from the nuclear plant.

me and my friend saw what can only be described as a street light colour light really high in the sky. it wasnt moving so we just looked at it for a while wondering what it was,. as we were looking at the strange light it all of a sudden went right across the sky as quick as a flash and it was gone. the speed it went across the sky is hard to word but there is no way any of our planes would ever fly that fast.

As we were driving along Highway 5, at about 12:45 AM on July 21st – we were south of Coalinga when we passed or were about to pass what looked like a weigh station – truckers were parked on the southbound side of the highway (we were headed north) and all of a sudden, out of my right hand passenger window a bright object – red lights, green lights, some smaller white lights (?) shot up straight into the air. I was still thinking it was something very rational I thought it might be CHP helicopter on the look out for speeders. But as time went on I felt strange. First of all it didn’t rise gradually like a helicopter does, it shot straight up in the air like an elevator only much faster. I didn’t hear any blades turning, either.

The object (I still thought it might be a helicopter) cut very rapidly across the highway, not with a slope of plane but at an angle, I have never seen anything do this. It cut just in front of us and low over the interstate, sweeping from the right side of the road to the left. Now we started to feel strange, it was moving way too fast to be a helicopter. We seemed to lose sight for a second or two and then, moving extremely rapidly, it shot with a very high speed from the left side and back across, low over the road – as if it was crashing down into the field on our right. I yelled out, “It’s a plane crash!” We both waited for the explosion to be seen and I actually braced myself thinking I would feel the crash it was so close by. (All of this happened within a mile to less than 100 feet away I would guess) We didn’t see an explosion or hear a sound. In fact, to our unease, we never heard a sound. It made no sound that we could hear. It seemed to disappear and all I saw was darkness. Then again it surfaced, this time following along with the speed of the traffic, slowly bobbing up and down. I thought the shape might have been darker than the sky behind it but I never got a good look at any shape. Now three bright, perfectly round, large lights appeared and shone on the traffic, as well as us. This was when we went from unease to genuine fear. It was as if it was pivoted, facing the traffic on I 5 and traveling at about the same speed, sideways.

We watched it for quite a while as it did this. It gradually fell behind us and I watched it through the rear window –. I watched it for probably another 2 minutes. It looked like a 747 making a landing on the highway – for some reason this made me feel even more strange. It was obviously not concerned about being hidden, but if it had been some super-secret aircraft, why would it play dangerously all around traffic in the middle of the night? When I saw it up close it looked basically the size of a small plane, but its lights made it look huge at this distance. The lights lit up park of the road and were as big around as stadium lights, huge for some sort of plane – they seemed to hover over the road and then we passed through some foothills and didn’t see them again.

i was drinking a cup of tea, looking out at the beatiful river, standing on my balcony, then, out of nowere three UFOs appered. i frozz looked at them then within 30 seconds they had flown off. i ran inside and told my husband. it was a night to remember.
