On the 25th of October, 1978 I was flying a light aircraft slolo on a training exercise between Geelong and Warnabool Victoria, Australia. I was flying at approximately 3,000' and when abeam Cape Otway, I observed a metalic sphere emerge from the cloud in front of me. I would estimate the object to be approximatley 2 kilomentres in front and at aproximatley 4,000 feet. It appearedt to be about 50 feet in diameter and it was silver in colour with no other detail evident. The object remained stationary for approximately 30 seconds, then slowly moved back into the cloud behind it.

In November 1992, at around 10 p.m., I was driving alone on my way home from a visit to my parents. My husband and I lived in an apartment in the north end of town, towards the less populated area of our city. It was very dark out, not a lot of travelers on the road, and not a lot of lights, including street lamps. Suddenly I noticed what I thought was a bright aura around the moon. I glanced up further at the moon, and that is when I realized that the aura (light) I had seen at the top edge of my vision wasn't coming from the moon, but an incredibly bright star just below the moon. As I watched, that star quickly dropped down and raced northwest across the sky, traveling in the same direction as me (I had turned left by this time). I was trying to drive and watch the "star" traveling at the same time. It seemed to stop and change, so I pulled over in a residential neighborhood right next to my apartment complex. I had the impression of something very large hanging over the bank of houses, with lights in an almost cross-like configuration. I remember hanging out my passenger window, straining my eyes to see the shape of this thing beyond the lights. My crazy thought was that it was light Wonder Woman's plane, invisible but with running lights or something. There is a UFO picture on this website that reminds me strongly of what I saw--it is one of the last pictures in the 1990's decade--the ones over Germany in 1990. That is the closest to the light configuration I saw. I vividly remember the feeling of extreme vastness of the thing beyond what I could see, yet it was completely silent. It only hung there a very short time, and then it began to pull away. I gunned my engine and raced around a short corner to my apartment as fast as I could, yet the thing I saw had already risen high enough to be the bright star again and was starting to streak back across the sky. I pulled into my apartment space and, leaving the door open on my car, raced to my door and yelled for my husband to come out quickly. He did, but all he saw was the very end of the bright "star" and it was gone before I knew it. I was almost hysterical, I remember telling my husband about it and then frantically calling my Dad to tell him the same thing. He had to tell me to calm down I was so agitated. I've never forgotten this, even though it has been 13 years. What was it??? I don't live close to a military base, and I can't imagine they would have anything that could move that fast, that far, and be so incredibly huge and silent. I'll always wonder about it. I am a devout Christian who believes in Christ and how he died for my sins, so I swear to you that what I have described is true. I have told very very few people about this because I didn't want anyone to label me crazy or think I was "weird". I tried very hard to forget what I had seen, but even now I wonder about it.

JULY 23RD,10PM, WE ARE DRIVING ON RT 84 HEADING TOWARD CONNECTICUT TO GET HOME. WE (6) ARE IN OUR MOTORHOME. LOTS OF WINDOWS FOR US TO SEE AND LOOK OUT AT THE EVENING TRAFFIC. I SPOT THESE TWO HUGE BRIGHT WHITE LIGHTS UP AT THE TOP OF A STEEP HILL WE ARE TRAVELING UP.THESE LIGHTS ARE TOO FAR APART TO BE AN AIRPLANE. I WONDER WHAT THIS IS TO MYSELF. ARE THESE LIGHTS A TOWER? IT IS HOVERING. NOT MOVING. IT'S NOT AN AIRPLANE. I STILL AM LOOKING AT THESE LIGHTS. THEY ARE HEADING OR FACING US...HEAD ON... THIS THING IS BIG. AT THIS TIME I ASK THE REST OF THE PASSENGERS"HEY GUYS ARE YOU SEEING THIS?WHAT IS IT?I THINK IT'S A UFO GUYS. EVERYONE UNDOES THEIR SEATBELT EXCEPT THE DRIVER. THE HIGHWAY IS FULL OF CARS IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. OTHER PEOPLE HAVE TO BE SEEING THIS THING!!! WE SEE ITS SIZE. IT'S HUGE! SILENT. NOW I RUN TO THE BACK OF THE MOTROHOME TO LOOK OUT THE BACK WINDOW. NOW THE CRAFT IS DIPPING DOWN THE LEFT SIDE DOWN TOWARD EARTH AND THE FRONT RIGHT SIDE IS UP HIGHER. NOW THE OBJECT STARTS TO MOVE FORWARD AND DOWN THE HILL TOWARD THE NEWBURGE BRIDGE TOWARDS N.Y. WE ARE HEADING TOWARD CT. I GET ON THE CB RADIO AND ASK THE TRUCKERS IF THEY ARE SEEING THIS UFO? NO RESPONSE. I ASK AGAIN. NOTHING. THEN I SAY ON THE CB RADIO. HEY UFO WE SEE YOU . SHINE YOUR LIGHT. On vacation on our porch at the beach overlooking the ocean, my husband pointed to 3 lights in the sky,on the horizon. unconnected shaped like a triangle. They looked like moving stars in a triangular form, one at the top and two at the bottom all traveling together They traveled down the horizon until it was hazy and we couldn't see them any more. My husband thought perhaps they were satelites traveling together and they might have been. We would appreciate you letting us know if perhaps satelites is in fact what it was. There were twon couples on the porch. My husband, me and another couple. My husband is an optometrist, the other couple an OB GYN and his wife who is a nurse. They objects were the shape of stars, size of stars and were not as far away as stars but definetly in outer space.

I was standing the mid watch as OOD underway, on board the US Navy destroyer I was serving on at the time. That particular night our ship was just killing time, cutting three knot circles in the water, while waiting for morning. (At dawn we were scheduled to steam in to the anchorage at Roosevelt Roads for shore leave.) Everything had been quiet since the watch change. The skunk board was clean for a change, and there were no contacts, surface or air, anywhere on the scopes.

At the time of the incident, I was on the starboard bridge wing, leaning against the rail, passing the time in quiet conversation with the Quartemaster of the Watch. Both of us happened to be looking just outboard of the ship, staring at the water as we talked. Suddenly, just below the surface of the water, and roughly ten feet from the hull, we both saw an extremely bright, white flash of light. It made no sound, and was over almost before it had started. It startled us, however, making us both take a step back. Looking at each other in puzzlement and some alarm, I heard the quartermaster ask, " What the hell was that?" I could only shrug my shoulders. Neither of us had the faintest idea what it had been, or what could have caused such an event out there in the middle of the ocean. One thing I did know, however. I felt safer standing the rest of that watch inside the bridge, with the bridge doors closed and dogged.

It has been suggested to me from some of the people I've told this story to that it might have been bio luminescence. I have seen that particular phenomenon many times at sea, during the night hours. Whatever it was that flashed us, it was far brighter than any bio luminescence I've ever seen, before or since. It was more like a powerfull strobe light.

I served onboard the USS Semmes DDG-18 from 1981 to 1985 as a junior reserve officer. I was the ASW Officer for my first three years and finished my last year onboard as the Comm Officer. In both roles I was custodian of materials ranging from Confidential to Top Secret. At the time I left the Navy with an Honorable Discharge, I was a frocked lieutenant. I am currently employed at HP as an Offsite Support Engineer Level III.

Me and my neighbor, both the same age, were throwing the baseball at our neighbor's field. The field was a grass tennis court surrounded by big oak trees. I heard a vrooming sound and saw something shadowy staying mostly behind the tree tops. It was wisking around like crazy on all sides of the field. I remember seeing the bottom being tilted up sideways almost on its side while it performed these maneuvers. Only a shadow was detectable. We started feeling euphoric and laughing hard. Our voices were booming like amplified. I believe we were gassed. We decided to go home and walked down our street to split up at the intersection.

When were almost to the intersection and then I looked up and saw it. It was about 25 yds ahead and 45 feet in the air. I said 'look at that!', and my friend looked up and saw it too. It was a shiny silver metallic color and tilted at 30 degrees with top exposed to us. We paused and my friend said what 'what do we do?' and I said 'run!', he said 'Where?' I said 'my house' and we took off back up the street. When we got almost to the top of the street, I saw it hovering right over the tree tops over the middle of the road. I said, 'stop!' and we both checked it out as we caught our breath. It was beutiful as we were almost totally underneath it. I remember it was blue and silver with four black afterburner-like features on it. Me and my friend turned away from it after a minute or two and I said, 'where do we go?' and he said 'my house!' and we flew down the street and took a fast short cut through our neighbor's yard. We went down to his basement and waited about 15 mins. and then I went back home. We never spoke of this to anyone, not even to ourselves.

i went to see a friend next door. i was walking back. i was near my basketball hoop and i felt sort of tense. i looked up and i saw it. it was like those pictures of UFOs but instead of being solid, itwas like a flock of birds but there aren't flocks of birds that massive. then as soon as it came it was gone.
