This photo was taken by my grandfather Cecil Barthelow while on a B-52 bombing mission supporting the 1st Marines sometime before or after Guadalcanal. None of the witnesses (4 full crews of B-52s) believe this to have been any Japanese aircraft because of its speed and shape, nor any American aircraft because they could not accomplish any form of contact. This photograph had long been in a small diary and scrapbook of Cecil's, which was recently discovered on a basement bookshelf, and has not yet been subject to study or research.

I was standing on the front deck and I was looking at the sky like I do every night. I saw a one solid white light flying in a straight line. I was thinking, "that is really high up there to be a plane". Then I started to tell my fiance to look at it.( not taking my eyes off of it) Before he could turn around to see it, the light suddenly got really really bright and then just disappeared. I kept looking at the sky hoping that the couple of stars around it would disappear to telling me that it was a cloud, but they didn't. I told my fiance what I saw and now he thinks I'm a nut job. But ever since then I havent taken my eyes off the sky at night. I am even trying to get my moms telescope.

A college buddy invited my girlfriend and I over for his birthday. Some of us are amateur astronomers and so we had a couple of high-powered telescopes set up in our buddy's backyard. We were looking at Saturn and Jupiter and a couple of galaxies. Clear skies, no wind, perfect conditions for stargazing. The two guys pointing the telescopes were busy trying to find stuff to look at while the rest of us sat around staring at the sky and eating cheeze and crackers. I was sitting in a chair and my girlfriend was on my lap. My girlfriend, myself, and several others who were just standing around were all looking at the sky. We were facing south when I noticed a moving light to the east over our mountains. I always LOOK for ufos, so I turned my attention to it. Unfortunately, it was just a normal commercial plane heading towards our city airport off to the south. While I was watching the plane out of boredom I noticed a second object coming from the east and traveling west, but much, MUCH closer to us than the plane. Right as I lift my arm to show my girlfriend, she jumps up and points to it herself, along with everyone else who was looking up (you would have to be blind not to notice it). The object was shaped like a nearly flattened egg. I grew up literally two miles away from Kirtland Air Force Base and I know planes and jets when I see them. This was the strangest thing I have ever seen, and it gave me goosebumps to watch it. It moved very fast across our view, heading almost due west. When it reached the point to where it was due south of where we were it veared very sharply and shot off the the south-southwest, fast enough to shock us with it's speed, but slowly enough for us to notice that it was going up at about a 35 degree angle until we lost it in the stars. Lasted just long enough for everyone to get a excellent view of it. Object's initial altitude was about 200ft. Its apparent size was about as big as your pinky fingernail if it was shaped like a flattened egg. No lights were emitted from object, yet the city lights from Albuquerque reflected off the bottom clearly enough to give a great detailed look at the object. Couldn't estimate airspeed, but object traveled from east horizon to point between us and due south in about six seconds, and it took less than three seconds to disappear from sight after vector change. Everyone had goosebumps (some of these witnesses were Air Force personnel), and no one could identify it as a know aircraft. It was the topic of discussion for the rest of the night, and it is something that I will personally never forget.

One in the front was as big as bellevue hospital and the other two adjacent seemed they were about the same size. The floated in a triangular formation with two floating above the water and the third about the old parking lot facing the FDR. We thought, maybe they are balloon's so we'll check them out the next day to see if we see any baskets with people and or ropes to keep it in place and just in case we'll buy a camara/film to take pictures of it. For three days we stared at them and kept thinking the same thing, but we never made any calls or bought film. The fourth day the were gone just as mysteriously as they appeared.

to continue from above. during which time i have a memory of seeing windows on the craft and the outline of a figure standing at the window at which point i had a profound feeling of loss and a deep connection with whomever it was and can remember saying dont leave me here the object moved on after we all felt settled.who knows what this all means ,but it was a positive experience

I saw this object in 1998 i saw this in the sky as i left my house to go and great a friend. the object was silver in coulor and was of a height of about one thousend five hundred feet a rough estimet. the object looked like two blomonge bowls stuck to each other and it was spinning horizontaly like a spinning top the object was on its own it seemed to be intrested in the princess park way which is near my house which is a fast motorway. the object did not seem to make any sound at all which made it so amazing it moved in different formations from left to right continuesly for about twenty five minuates it stayed on one level in the sky and it did gaine any altitued which was not the norm for an object of this sort. it seemed to be made of some sort of very light weight meatel by the way it glided through the sky. i no for a fact it was ant thing from are royal airforce bases and it is nothing I have ever seen what ever it was it is her to stay and should be admired by all. Maybe one day the coverment may come forward .

The sighting started just after noon. The object was pointed out to me by a coworker. It was in a cloudless sky so altitude was hard to determine but the general concensus was approx 8-10,000 ft. The object was actually moving due west at a VERY slow rate. It took almost 4 1/2 hrs to go out of sight. As for size, that was hard to determine since we didn't know how high it was. But for comparison, it was the same size as a ping-pong ball held 12' from the viewer. It apeared to be perfectly round (as seen from underneath) and as bright as new chrome.
