I sat in front of my dads eh wagon, my 4-5 yr niece sat in between my oldest sister driving. In the back was my mum and her work colleague Aunt May. We had picked them up from their night shift at Sennetts ice cream factory in region of Ashwood, Melbourne Victoria.As we neared May's house I was sitting right up front of the windscreen and watching a light in the sky zooming about. I told my niece Julie to watch as I could move my head and it appeared to follow my every move. My sister who was the driver, then decided to look to. She then conversed to mum what we were watching. Next I knew, we had stopped and May ran to her commission house some 2-3 houses away and got her son. Mum, my sister Maelene had got out too. Because I could see them looking up I decided to get out too. As I looked up I saw a brilliant light that actually had lighted up our faces and then turned to see May and her son coming down from the front door verandah. I heard a whirr and when I turned back it was gone. I don't remember the conversation home. When we entered the doors of our house we heard a similar sound and stopped in our steps. Mum entered and looked through our lounge room glass doors, my sister was sitting under one of those old hair dryers with the hose leading up to the bonnett. I recall Maelene ringing a radio station who reported that they had had 13 other calls regarding the sighting. I was roughly 10 and born in 1957. There are specific things I can recall to try and work out a more approximate time, but the year would be close.

On the evening of the 5th/5th/2005 my wife and I were invited out to dinner with friends at the Dunsmuir Lodge.......which overlooks the Victoria Airport and ocean beyond.

We arrived there around 5:45pm....the weather was a beautiful sunny evening with clear visability for miles.( as the photo's show )

Before going in to the restaurant for dinner, we went out onto the sundecks which had a 180 degree view overlooking the airport etc.

I took a series of seven pictures numbered 11 to 17 and the object was not seen untill I downloaded them to my computer !

In picture #13 there is a very small black dot just offset high in the sky above the ferry ! Too high to be a helicopter or small plane and at that height, if it was a large jet it would have left a contra trail ?

On enlargement you will notice it takes on the shape of a cone ( rather than a large jet ) similar to space capsules that landed in the ocean in the early space exploration years.

Then in picture #17 the object showed up over or just in front of the ferry !!

There were no other reports of the object , that should have been very visible to others and in particular the ferry bridge personel.

Underneath the object a bright light is quite visible, which is surprising considering that it was a clear evening !! If you follow to down below the light ....you will notice at first what appears to be a small craft in the path of the ferry.

Yet again, there were no reports of such an incident and upon further enlargement you will note the brilliance of the light in that area.

As I said earlier.....considering the size of the object in comparison to the ferry it was very large.

Unfortunately I did not zoom in on the ferry, as over the years I have taken many shots of them but then who can say if it would have still appeared ?

For further info for you ....I have also seen a silver sphere as seen over crop circles !!That incident occured in Southampton, England a some years ago,once again my wife and I were visiting friends. I had a movie camera on my shoulder but at the speed it was travelling just above rooftop level....I never had a chance of filming it.

I got in touch with crop circle experts at the time and discussed the sighting with them

but there was no point in reporting it to the authorities.

Any questions you may have in regards to the ufo and I say "UFO " because that is what I beleive it is......please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Both Newspaper & TV News Media had no interest !!!

The BC Ferry Authority copied the photographs for their Archives.

The photo's were sent to Comox Forces Base ,Vancouver Island.BC a few days ago and to date no response from them.....a little early I guess !!

colored lights on craft--red yellow white--flickering around baseof silver domed craft which remained 5 minutes,then moved south and up fast to disappear. i listened for news reports in local paper---certain others might have seen it.no reports and i was alone and fearful of gov't visitors. craft appeared over san clemente two nights later which is furtur south and furthur away. same time observed and sudden disappearance.
