This object really caught my attention for two reasons. 1, it was silent. 2, it did not match any aircraft type that I knew. I grew up on air force bases and as a young man at the time could identify by make model and nature of service, every aircraft in the US inventory, military and civilian. My friends and I grew up watching airplanes and going to airshows. This object had a dual cylinder type fuselage and a straight fixed wing at midbody. The item that REALLY caught my attention was that it had NO rear verticle oir horizontal stabilizers. It flew at approx. 300 mph in a straight line for approx. 6 milies before it was out of visual range. It had no exhaust trail. There were no other aircraft in the area. I can draw a sketch of it as clearly as if I saw the object yesterday.

As my older sister and I were walking home around 9:30 PM in the late fall of 1965, we witnessed a very strange object that appeared out of nowhere, made no noise like a plane or aircraft, and had many colored bright lights on it. It hovered over the area we were walking and rapidly flew away in the direction of Westmoreland County. My sister being 13 years old got very scared and grabbed my hand and we ran all the way home.I believe others saw it as well, but as you can understand in 1965 we weren't supposed to tell anyone because they'd think we were insane. From time to time she and I would discuss it between us. I remember that we were very frightened when the local papers (kecksburg is due south of where we grew up) starting describing what they initially suggested was a craft of some sort. We were afraid the people in the craft were going to come and get us since we saw them. The memory has stayed very clear in my mind all these years.

Leaving Nashville Int. Airport apporx 5 miles away (not sure of exact road) but the object, as described above certainly defyed any reasonable explanation. The brightly clear sky couldn't lie and I was so intrigued that I nearly wrecked, swerving into the opposite lane. When I looked again it was no where in sight, again the sky was very blue.

OK...remember I was a younger guy and my friend and I decided to go out and look for wild marijuana plants one late night.I grew up in a northern Indiana area where marijuana grew wild from its earlier WW2 plantings to make rope for the war effort. We had another friend drive us out and wait for us in the car. We parked on a road that dead ended at the side of a plowed field. My friend (I'll call Ed) had found "pot" there the year before so he was hoping the first snowfall hadn't destroyed it.(It wasn't unusual to find marijuana buds "quick frozen to the plant stems" before strong winds arrived. Anyway, we walked across this large potato field that was plowed up and frozen with a crusty first snow cover on it. There was a slight breeze but wasn't that cold yet.We got to an area where there was a small hill in the middle of the field and we turned on our flashlights and began looking for plants.After about 20 minutes of looking, we gave up because it was starting to feel colder and our hands were getting numb. We agreed to run back to the car....and agter only a few steps ,we both ran into something. Scared the heck out of us and we turned our flashlights back on. Standing right in front of us were two small fawns!! They looked at us and then turned away to stare back from where we came. They acted docile. Then as we lookedback the deer ran off across the crusty snow. We were stunned! There ,only about 50 feet from us,on the hillside, was a bright ,straight light beam shining down and illuminating weeds and grasses ahead. I looked up and said,"Ed, what do you see?" He answered with fear, " I see a bright beam of light coming down from the sky!" I I didn't see any source!! It was just a straight beam of light that looked about 80 foot high and just stopped up there. No source! It illuminated the ground in a perfect circle . The beam was perfectly column -like.Fear hit us and we ran back to the car and didn't look back.We got to our friend and told him and he said he thought he saw some weird lights but didn't ever elaborate. At the time we didn't speak of it for years. I saw "Ed" a few times afterward and we wuld always mention that night when a light beam came out of the night skyand spooked us and 2 little fawns. All of this happened just as I've told and if no one believes me..that's fine ..because I and Ed believe.There is something in our skies.

It is my belief that something is in our skies but unexplainable at this time. It may be extra terrestrials but I feel it may have to do with a parallel universe or dimension that opens up for whatever reason and we get a glimpse of things in it. That would explain no radar returns on scopes. It would be similar to a halogram. That's just my view though.

I lived near the dune path entrance to the Lake Michigan beach in 1976-77.Our apartment was at the corner of Georgia Ave. and a dune path, in Michigan City,Indiana. I was 27 at the time. I told my wife I was taking our black Labrador, Kahlua , out for her evening walk to the dune area. It was about 10:00pm -for I usually took her when the local TV news started . I took her downstairs and walked her to the beach path entrance off the street. She suddenly pointed with tail out and left paw up ,out toward the lake. I had never seen her do this in the year we had had this 7 year old ,well trained dog.The hair was bristling up on her back as I gazed out down the sandy dune path. I saw a faint light glow at the very end of the trail and figured she sensed our neighbors partying at a bonfire out on the beach.It was a very nice warm evening with just a slight cool breeze off the lake from the north.( It wasn't out of the ordinary that someone would be having a night time fire and party on such a warm Summer night.) It was moonless but starry in the sky above. I walked quickly to the beach area and was stunned to find no one there and no fire. I looked to my left(West) and couldn't believe my eyes. On this dark night I saw 3 globe shaped (spherical) objects coming our way . They were gliding just above where the water gently waved ashore. As they moved our way...I noticed the colors were of a yellow/orange or pinkish hue light that was weak like a fluorescent glow from inside the spheres. The surface of these globes had thin fingers of "lightning" traveling in fast patterns all around their surfaces. It reminded me of the staticelectricity balls that were used in science classes.I looked quickly down at Kalua at my side and she was frozen in place and had her head turning as she eyed the spheres. She didn't bark and I didn't speak. It was all silent. The spheres crossed directly in front of us at about 100 feet and I got a good look.They seemed to slow down slightly there and I saw they were in an echelon formation with 1 globe out front and the other two behind and left and right of it. The globes seemed about 3 to 5 feet in diameter and were about the same distance from one another. They seemed to move as one object but I didn't see any connecting structure.Their luminous glow ,illuminated the scarce foam of the small waves beneath them.The waves were only inches high but I could make them out. The spheres were only a foot or so above the water. They travelled where the water met the sand.I recall seeing the light brown sand along the wavelets too.I stood transfixed as the globes continued on and seemed to speed up as they continued on the same path above the water all the way up the shore to the East and toward New Buffalo,Michigan .As they moved downshore they became a single light source due to the distance, and were gone. I went in and told my wife in a very excited state what Kahlua and I witnessed. I called the Michigan City police dept. but the desk sargeant laughed and said they were plane landing lights -before I could even explain that they were very close.Then... He hung up! I want you all to know that you won't believe in UFO's until..out of the blue...you'll see one. You will believe then. I do. I am educated, sober minded, a musician, and a photographer and have good vision. My dog did too. ( I have also had 2 other incidents in my life which I will report here in another entry.)

I would like to know if during that Summer (1977) or any Summer night...did anyone else ever report near views of unidentified objects on that beach area of Michigan City ?

I was around 9 year old at the time. My father, my older brother and my seft were

lying outside, on a portable bed chatting when I saw the object. I was looking at the stars when I see the object. It was a bright, blue color one, probably a round shape flied with extreme high speed, much more than a fighter jet, at a relatively low attitude

and totaly not any sound heard. I quickly jumped out of the bed, ran quick and I had enough time to watch it before it disappred after the mountain. I still remember seing the spark follow the object with orange color before it disapper. (I did not see the spark at the beginning though)

The Only thing that can be explain is a fighter jet, but ofcourse a fighter jet should

made a lousy noise. and for sure, the shape was not any close to a fighter jet.

My dad and my brother ran after me, but they are a little late to see the object.

There were a war in Vietnam around the time the object was seen. but I could not

explain the phenomenon based on what the (American) army/ air force mgiht have at the time.

Full Description & Details

Dridving west on NYS Thruway. Attention brought to light in sky because of abrupt rilght angle turn of pattern, inconsistent with flight characteristics of an aeroplane.Watching it intently while driving, my wife insisted she drive as I was so engrosed in it. The "light" changed direction and flew in the oposite direction to me heading East on my right side. At a 3'oclock position, it changed from a white color to a pulsating orange. It then changed to a white color, and because there was a full moon, the light from same reflected off it and the shape could be seen as eliptical.Thank goodness my wife was an unwilling witness tok this event, or I would have certainly kept the experience to myself!
