Having missed the last bus from Cirencester to Cheltenham, my only option was to start walking. Around 2 miles north of Cirencester I was walking in a valley when I felt vibrations, and shortly afterwards a large triangular craft flew slowly over the valley, not much above the top of the hills. There were multiple searchlights, and it was low enough for me to see individual panels. I could not see any windows. The vibration was caused by a low but loud humming, which I more felt than heard, the sort of sound that gets you in the stomach. The craft had no wings, and appeared gunmetal grey in colour. It was flying east-west, and took about 30 seconds to cross the valley.

This event was one of the most terrifying of my life. I would like to know if anyone has ever seen anything similar, and so close. My most enduring memory was the intense vibrations.

Same colour and aspect as any star, but the other stars were not very visible at that time, or they were very small. We thought it might be Venus, but then it began shaking horizontally for about 30 seconds,then moving in a straight, zig-zag line , going up, down and to the right, then up again higher than the initial starting point, then down and to the right until it disappeared behind the tree and the building on our left side. The movement was smooth and slow. Unless one payed attention, it could have passed unobserved. My friend and her mother also saw this thing, we observed it for 10 minutes from 9 pm to 9,10 pm.We saw it from my friend's apartment, from the balcony. The object was about "five moons" high in the sky relative to the buiding. We could not understand what it was, it did not make noise like a plane,the brightness did not fade away(couldn't have been fireworks or anything similar), the light kept the same intensity, shape, and size. I believe this happened during the month of June, the days were long since the sky was not very dark at that time. I spoke with an airplane pilot who confirmed this could not have been a weather balloon.(I asked him if a weather balloon could be so shiny, especially at night time.)

pulled onto city access entrance when i noticed an object stationary in the sky just above and in front of me. i got out of the car thinking it may be a low flying helo. it then moved south-southwesterly across Read St and briefly out of sight. it then reappeared some distance off in front of me moving left and stopping once again. it then came toward me once again and stopped over the open field and then dispeared in the same south-southwesterly dirction. the route it traveled would be triangular from first sighting to the last stop before it disappeared. it made "no" sound! it had visible lights. it was very dark at this time of the night. this is the first time i have told this to anyone besides my wife and i told her just recently.

i was out of my car for most of this time.

I WAS ELEVEN THEN, ON MY WAY TO SCHOOL WHICH WAS ABOUT QNE QND A HALF MILES AWAY. THE ROAD IS BY THE SEA SO THE SEA BREEZE WOULD COOL US DOWN IF THE SUN GETS TOO HOT. IT WAS PECULIAR THAT MORNING - HOT AND THE BREEZE HAD STOPPED. HALFWAY TOWARDS MY SCHOOL, SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THE SKY THAT MADE EVERYONE LOOK UP. I WAS EXTREMELY ASTONISHED BUT I WOULD BE LYING IF I SAID THAT I WAS NOT TERRIFIED ALSO. THERE IN THE CLEAR BLUE SKY WAS THIS HUGE WHITE SYMBOL - SHAPED LIKE A CURVED ARROWHEAD. THE WHITE COLOR WAS SO INTENSE THAT THERE WERE TINY REFLECTIONS EMANATING FROM IT. WHAT I SAW THAT MORNING FILLED ME WITH AN ICY COLD FEAR - THE FEAR SOMEONE HAS WHEN HE OR SHE COMES FACE TO FACE WITH SOMETHING UN-HUMAN, BECAUSE ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT WHAT I SAW THAT DAY WAS A CHALLENGE TO HUMANITY. WHAT SEEMS MORE STRANGER IS THAT THE OTHER STUDENTS WHO WERE WALKING WITH ME THAT MORNING COULD NOT RECALL THE SYMBOL BY THAT VERY AFTERNOON. CAN U RELATE?

if anyone has seen any thing like what i saw, can u inform me? I notice that in almost all of the reports that i have read, there seems to be no fear in the "sightee". this is why i just cannot believe that there could be other genuine cases like mine. what i saw was un human and unholy- there is no proper word that can express the dread that i felt that day.

It was 1976 - 1978 (sorry for my english) I was ten or eleven years at that time. I was born in 1967. We, my cousin and I (he was five at that time, and of course he can´t remember anything) were playing in one (of three) yards in our grandparents house. It was a big colonial house. Sudenly my little cousin point his finger towards the roof, he was the first to see the object. That object was an inverted triangle of an aproximate size of two meters in the base. it was hovering silently at one meter or less of the top of the roof ( the object couldn´t be more than eigth or nine metres from us). My aunt (the mother of my cousin) was ironing some clothes directly underneath the roof and pay little attention at our callings thinking it was nothing important, just child games.

Being childs we were not scared just amazed, then I decided to go for my grand parent to show him "our discovery " he was having a shaving and reluctantly follow me ( While I pulled his arm). I was at that time just a child now, I am lawyer, but my grandfather was an astronomer, historician, a very educated person indeed. Well, the thing that I will never forget was his face expressión when he saw the object, his face went pale like he was going to faint all what he can do was to call my aunt (of course she noted the urge of his father voice and promtly came. (She was just under the roof at four or five meters from us) But all of a sudden the object practicaly "dissapear" in the sky such was the speed of his movement. The clouds were very high it was a sunny day. it was aproximatly 11:00 A.M

It was a closed subject in our house, (not for my granfather) and I remember vividly telling to other memebers of our family what we saw just to be ignored (just a child) or giving all sort of stupid explanations at the phenomenon (maybe it was helicopter some say) even being a child I recall thinking if that was an helicopter it was a very little one made no noise and move at such speed I´ve never heard of that things before. Being treated like an imaginative child in a lunch I remeber my grandfather shut everybody (he was the most respected member of our family, and he was absolutly lucid at that time) and declared that it was true what I was saying that what we saw that morning was a very unusual thing.

My gradfather died in 1980, but he died knowing that our word hides things that our "scientific" community stiil don´t know or at leat does´t want to know. I keep in silence of course being this fact known by my family an other closest ones. Still amaze me to know the kind of treatment giving at the phenomena by the scientific community.

My little brother and I were in the backyard. I looked up and saw something flying over us, then it stopped and hovered for awhile, then it flew out of sight towards the north, then came back a few minutes later going towards the south, much faster though. It didn't look like any of the airplanes or helicopters that usually fly past our house, and it flew over too large of an area to be remote controlled. It appeared to be a spinning silver disc. I decided we shouldn't tell anyone because no one would believe us because I was only 7, and adults seldom believe children.
