As I was driving home one pre summer evening around 9:00pm, I saw what looked like a merry-go-round coming toward me in flight on the horizon to the north. It seemingly was traveling at a speed of what would be similar to that of a small single engine aircraft. It was low in altitude, I'd guess about 100-200 feet off ground. It intrigued me so that I stopped my car in the medium and stuck my head out the window to see if I had seen a reflection of some kind off the windows of my car. It was real as it slowly and quietly sailed over the mountain behind me. I turned around to see if I could follow it to see where it was headed. It soon was out of my view as it continued to travel in a southwesterly path and I was going on a slightly southeasterly direction. I would set its direction from Russellville, AL, toward Columbus, MS.

The shape of the vehicle was a saucer shape for the most part, with windows all around it [ I would say about 8 or so] with strobe lights on the top and bottom. Under the 8 square windows were several amber and red lights that encircled the vehicle. The number of these lights looked like to be 10-12. They were blinking on and off seemingly in a circular motion. As I mentioned earlier it reminded me of a merry-go-round in the far distance as it was coming toward me. As it got overhead it was plain it was nothing I'd seen before. I seemed to be floating with no motors or engines that could be heard from my position. I could not see anything inside the vehicle through the windows but they were lit up with a slightly yellowish looking light; about the color of an incandesant light bulb. The exact shape of the vehicle could not be completely determined; only the lights were visible in the dark sky. I would say that the diameter of the vehicle would be aroung 15-18 feet. The height of the vehicle I would estimate from 8-10 feet from upper to lower blinking strobe light. [ These lights looked to be similar to the ones you see on the wings of commercial aircraft we see daily]. There was no darting or flashing of the craft as it leisurely sailed overhead. What ever it was I have never seen before or sense. I was watching a documentary on UFO's on TV and they showed a craft similar to, or nearly identical to what I think I saw; that had been seen in England a few years after I saw this one.

I came home that night expecting to hear stories on the late news of people who had also seen this craft. To my surprise there was nothing on TV or radio about the UFO. I know other people had to have seen it for there were several cars on the same course as I was traveling. I kept this to my self for several days then told family and friends about it. I didn't want them to think I was loseing it you know.

I was outside of my home in a grass field and had just gone to get some string or was returning with some string to tie up my Chicken's pen(CANNOT REMEMBER WHICH!)the light was fading and I looked into the sky in a southerly direction and noticed two circular orangey/amber light's that where next to one another(side by side) hovering in the sky over some nearby farmland and they where not that far off the ground (probably about 2-3 hundred feet up if that) they seemed to be kind of floating and I don't recall hearing any noise or sound the light's then went out after 30 second's or so.after the light's had gone out there where light's of normal aircraft going in both direction's in the same area)Did any of these aircraft see the orangey/amber light's?was it a helicopter practising landing?or on manouvers?it was DEFINATELY to low to be a Jet,glider,or other aircraft and would have been seen because it was close to a busy main road,but may not have been seen by anyone except me.This sighting has left me truely puzzled and mystified because I Don't know what it was that I saw.

When I was a kid. Me, my grandmother, and my uncle. Were sitting in the living room our small farm watching TV late one saturday night. I noticed what looked like the sun starting to come up over the tree tops in the distance through the living room window. I brought it to everyones attention and we all hurried outside. The object was about 1/4 mile away and slowly drifted about 30 ft above the tree tops. The sight lasted a couple minutes because of how slow it was moving. As it went further away, we eventually lost sight of it. I have described it over the years as being 20/25 yards long shaped like a NFL football and glowing like hot molten steel, like you would see in a steel plant. When I saw the picture on your website. I almost fell out of my chair. That's what we saw. This one has been around since the late 70's for sure. Just incase this helps in any way. I also printed the picture to keep for myself and back my story. Thank you so much for posting them. Oh, I was told many others seen this the same night as well.

It was Christmas Eve, I was in the window waiting for my parents to put the toys under the tree and all of the sudden these lights started up and it was very amazing and 30 years later i just told my Dad and he said,"I'm not crazy he saw i ufo on one Christmas eve and i told him my story. The lights were very bright, it moved like a gaint fly (bug), it stayed on the tracks like it was regenerating it's craft and i never told any because i didn't want people to think i was crazy..Until me and my Dad confirmed each other's story. I knew i saw an object because i saw it long enough to remember. My life seem different every since i saw that thing.The color lights was something i nerver seen before , the next day i wasn't interested in my toys that i got for Christmas....They're really here!!!!!!!!! Only seeing is beleiving!!!!!!!!! Me and a friend is going back to the official landing site......

Just got outside my house door and walked up the road during the morning of 2AM to take the dog out for an early walk and all of a sudden i see this ball of yellow light just hovering in the sky, then the light starts to fly left and right at high speeds i have a desription of the craft if was sort of half crescent moon shape traveling at high speeds, 3 minutes of looking at it the light just flew off leaving a trail of light bheind it at high speeds. Another one was sighted by a friend of mines in the next town 9 miles away from Sheerness.

Now my great grandpa and my great uncle saw this when they were about 40 and 30 when they saw the UFO. They saw a bright light near a lake thought someone was tresspassing so my great grandfather had brought his rifle just to shake him/her up. Well they walked down their and heard a quiet hum they knew it couldn't be a helicopter because they were too loud it was barley heard it was levitating over a lake. My great grandfatherhad binoculars on him he looked at the objest and a bright light flashed in his eyes he was blinded for a few seconds then all of a sudden the object charged at them they took off in too directions. The light that flashed in his eyes later blinded him the doctors tried to cover up and say he was getting old he didn't tell anyone of authority just family he's passed away now and i just recently found out he wasn't making it up because my grandfather never lied he was raised that way and neither did my uncle he takes anything seriously.

I was watching television when I saw a bright light shining through my window. I walked over to the window to see what it was. What I saw was a very bright, orange-yellow light (an orb) moving slowly accross the sky in front of the Gatineau hills. I walked out to the balcony to make sure I was not being fooled by glare on my window, and sure enough the light was still there.

I did not hear any noise coming from it. It was about 150m away from me, and about 70m off the ground. The orb was about 2-3m in diameter. I watched the orb for about 60 seconds, but when a ran to get a witness it was gone.
