Im not positive of the exact date but it was some time in december.My older brother & I were going to let my Aunts dog out.We both noticed the object at the same time. the object had three lights red in the front white in the middle & green at the back end.The object seemed as if it knew it had been seen.The object shot up , down & then almost in a star like pattern.Then it shot across the sky ,covering the distance of the sky in split second.The whole time this happened my brother & I were not able to move or speak.To the best of my knowlege are Armed forces do not have anything that can manauver like that or travel at that speed. we live near BWI air port & no plane has ever taken off and even came close to the speeds this thing had.I have also been to Airforce base.still not even close...

I was out nightsky watching like I usually am on clear nights when suddenly I realized there was an object that had appeared and was already quite low. I would say that it was about 2000 to 3000 feet from the ground and moving very slowly at approximately 30 km/h. The object was quite big, it reminded me of a barge on the bottom but barges are usually rectangular and this was circular on the bottom. Above that, on the middle part of it, there was a part protruded out from the rest of the object. Above this protruded part were its lights which were huge and red and orange/yellow and each looked like it had its own rotating luminence. These lights were square with rounded corner shaped but were not shining on anything in particular. I could see at least five lights but I knew there were more going all the way around that part of the object.

The lights were illuminating the top part just enough for me to be able to tell that this part was at least the same length as the center and bottom parts together. The colour from what I could see of the object was grey. It did not make any noise. From where I first saw it, it moved slowly descending lower in altitude. I was dumbstruck and then finally remembered to go in my house to phone my nightsky watching friend to tell her to check this out. She did go outside after I called her and told me she saw the same thing. The object was flying Northeast along the Koksoak River. After I phoned my friend I came back out to my back porch but by that time, my house was already blocking my view of it. The only other movement of objects that I saw that night were much much higher than this big one that I saw.

Other Comments

I live in a small town and have already heard that there was a young boy who saw big lights around the same time that night. I also know several other skywatchers who have seen unknown objects in the sky at night and in the daytime. I also have heard of sightings in this area for years and being an avid stargazer (more like I only look for moving objects) for the past few years, this was really my most exciting night so far.

For a sketch, what I would provide you would be very similar to one of your photos on your webpage. It is the fourth photo from the left. What I saw was like what is showing in this picture. My friend saw the same thing.

It was about 1993. One nigth there was a huge blackout in Costa Rica (all country, about size of Virginiain the US).

By those days, there reports of sightings by airliners in Costa Rica, so when the blackout came sister and I went outside in the street, saying and singing "the aliens are coming". Quite profetic, i'll say...

Everything was black, no cars around or anything that could provide ligths. That's when that happened, we saw a light, shaped as a "sphere" pass at huge speed in front of us, inl the middle of the street.

Offcourse no one believed us, but that same nigth a group police officers, about a mile (Curridabat) from my home saw a flyng soucer float in front of them.

the police officer story was well documented incident by local autorities and media in my country

je m'exprime en francais ,mon anglais etant trop limite;

nous etions 4:ma soeur,environ 8/9ans,mon petit cousin,environ 9/10ans,mon grand cousin,environ 16/17ans et moi meme environ 10/11 ans(en fonction de l'année excacte de l'observation).

Tous les 4 sur la plage de Barcares,pres de Perpignan,ville du sud de la france,nous venions de quitter nos grands parents apres le repas,dans leur maison du bord de mer.

Comme chaque soir de vacance nous allions faire un tour sur la plage avant de nous coucher.

Le premier,venant de ma gauche, j'ai apercu un long "cigare"orange,incandescant,arrivant vers nous longeant le bord de mer.Avant

d'avoir pu le montrer a quiquonque,il s'etait enfonce dans la mer,sans bruit ni vagues apparentes,en face de nous,eclairant la mer come un coucher de soleil sous la mer!

Alors je me retournai vers Philippe(mon cousin le plus age)et lui disait:"tu as vu!la!?devant ?!!?"et tout le monde regardait maintenant cette mer orange quand soudain,pratiquement qu'au meme endroit ou il s'etait enfonce,l'engin ressurgit,droit vers le ciel etoilé d'un ete du sud de la france,clair comme le jour.

Nous le vimmes foncer vers le village du bord de mer le plus proche(Port Barcares,a environ 2 kilometres de la)puis disparaitre,sa vitesse ne nous permettant pas d'estimer l'endroit de sa disparition.

Philippe pris ses jambes a son cou vers la maison de nos grands parents,et nous firent tous de meme!

Arrives la bas nous racontames ce que nous avions vu(nos parents respectifs etaient egalement la)

Bien sur personne ne nous cru réellement.

mais le lendemain,au journal televise regional,vers 19h15,alors que nous mangions tous devant la tele,un couple etait interwieve:

Cet homme et cette femme avait eu tres peur ,lorsque,roulant sur une route de la region des pyrénées orientales(pres de Perpignan donc)ils avaient apercu un engin ressemblanrt a celui que nous avions observes la veille,qui se posa sur un champ proche!lors de leur temoignage ils dirent que leur voiture s'arreta et ,n'arrivant pas a la redemarrer,ils la quitterent pour se refugier dans une eglise proche de la ou ils durent s'immobiliser.

Bien sur,que pese la parole d'enfants face au rationel?

J'ssayai quelques années plus tard de me procurer l'interwiew de ce couple;mais il faut savoir qu'en France,le droit a l'image est protege,et donc,a moins d'etre un professionel avec une mission bien particuliere et mandate,on ne peux absolument rien se procurer

Meme si mon temoignage ne fait pas avancer les choses il participe a la longue serie de ceux qui ont fait se poser des questions a beaucoup de gens.

my mother and i were driving north on a1a from fort lauderdale to boca raton. i looked up at the sky in the direction of the ocean and saw a large black triangular object hovering high above the condominium rooftops that line the beach front. my mother thought it was some kind of a plane but it wasn't moving. i thought it looked like it could have been a huge black kite but it seemed too large and high. as we curved around the road i lost sight of it for a moment because of a large building. when we passed the building i looked for it but it had dissapeared. if it was a kite it could have never dissapeared that quickly. it was in plain sight for all to see so if anyone else saw it please write!

my step mother was driving me to my friends and we looked up and saw this bright big white light heading towards us. it hovered for a little while and then move back and forth as if observing us then it disappeared. We never saw it again.
