at first it was one red light blinking,then a circle of white lights came on and started spinning and it(the saucer) moved rapidly to across the street and then there was just one blinking red light in the middle it was not very far away we watched it move like this a few times I turned off the car to hear it I heared nothing it just hover above us for a few minutes then it headed north

I saw this object on Oct. 24, 1973. At that time there was a huge UFO flap going on across the country, especially in the Southeast where I lived. Just one week earlier there had been the report of two fisherman in Mississippi being abducted. When I heard these reports I was determined to see a UFO if possible. I was spending 2 or 3 hours every night looking at the sky. I got more than I bargained for.

On this night I was sitting in a lawn chair, just watching the sky. Around 11 P.M. I saw an object to the north that got my attention. It was just a small bright red object. It got my attention because it was sitting still in the sky. I could not tell what is was however, because it was pretty far away. We had Mayport Naval Base about 5 miles north of my house, and this is about where this object seemed to be. I watched this object for about 10-15 minutes and it never moved. So I knew it wasn't an airplane, and it is even doubtful that it was a helicopter or blimp. Even helicopters and blimps rarely sit in one position for very long. I tried to get my father to come out and look, but he was tired and it was late.

Then the object started moving slowly eastward toward the Atlantic Ocean which was only one mile from my home. I went in and told my father I was going to drive down to the beach and see if I could get a better view of this object. I drove down to the beach and parked beside a Holiday Inn right on the oceanfront. I walked out on the seawall and looked for this object. I did believe I spotted it out over the ocean to the Northeast. But it was still just a small red non-blinking star-like object. I really couldn't tell what it was. It was sitting still again, maybe 30 degrees above the horizon. I watched it for about 10 or 15 minutes and honestly, just got bored looking at it. It was obvious I was not going to get a close look at this. So I decided to go back home.

As I turned around to walk back to my car, I saw this very large, roughly football shaped, bright orange object coming right down the beach! It looked like a solid object. It glowed the way steel glows in a furnace. It also had a haze or fog around it that was also orange. But the object was very clearly defined. It was maybe a half-mile away. I knew this because we had a pier about one mile south of my location. This object was about halfway between. I could see it's reflection in the water below it. It was just about over the waterline. When I first saw it, it looked about the size of a quarter held at arms length. This thing was pretty big, I estimate maybe 60 feet across. It was very low, maybe 100-200 feet altitude at most. It was completely silent and was slowly approaching me. There was a car driving up the beach. This object looked like it was right above the car. But the car was moving toward me faster than this object, so it was only moving maybe 20 MPH at most.

The car exited up a ramp, but this object kept coming straight toward me. At this point I began to get a little spooked. It was late at night and there were not many people out. I also remembered the stories in the news. Now this object was only a few hundred yards south of me. Now it looked about the size of a tennis-ball held at arms length. There was a stairway from the seawall down to the beach, I was going to go down in there and hide from this object. Then, I spotted a man standing in front of the Holiday Inn smoking a cigarette. I do not believe he was aware of this object at all. He was just looking out at the ocean. I was glad to see him. I ran over to him and said, "Look at that!", pointing. He was very surprised and said, "What is that??" I told him, " I don't know, but I think it's one of those UFO's!" Then we just both stared at it.

Now, this object was about 100 yards away. Very big and close. It stopped moving toward us and just sat still for about a minute or two. It appeared as though waves travelled up through it. It would glow slightly brighter and then dim. We just looked and said nothing. Then, somehow it just changed it's shape. It went from football shaped to a long narrow rectangle. It still had the fog or haze around it, and it still would glow slightly brighter and then dim slightly. It stayed this shape for a minute or so. Then, very suddenly, it shot off to the east at the most amazing speed I have ever seen. It moved so fast that it appeared to stretch like taffy. Then it turned into a little orange ball that shot over the horizon. It seem to dive down as it went over the horizon as though it was following the curve of the earth. It left a long orange vapor trail that took 2 or 3 minutes to fade away. It was absolutely amazing. The man asked me if I thought it was a rocket. I told him no way, I've seen rockets before, and even rockets can't move that fast. Especially from a dead stop.

We spoke for a few minutes. The man asked me if I was going to report it. I told him I didn't know who you would report it to. I left and drove home. I told my father, but he was half-asleep and I don't think he heard me. I told some co-workers the next day who laughed at me. That made me angry. But I did hear some reports on the local radio station where a few people had called in and reported this object. So that made me feel a little better, and I pointed it out to my co-workers. I have no idea what this object was, but it was spectacular. I will never forget.

My Father, sister and my self saw a disc shaped craft, it looked like a classic "Bell" shaped saucer over Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows.

In 1977, My Father, sister and my self saw a disc shaped craft. I was 7 at the time. We left the KFC that was on Northwest Hwy going NW in our car. As we got closer to the intersection of Northwest Hwy and Euclid, I spotted an object that hung in the sky and was getting brighter. It was "dropping" out of the sky in the north. I pointed it out to my sister who was in the car. She then asked my dad to look at it. I then replied that it was a UFO. My father refused and brushed it off as an airplane. To quite us he turned at the intersection prior to Euclid Ave. as to keep us from jumping around in the back seat since the streets he was taking had trees that over hung the road and obscured our view. As we were going down Sigwalt St. the craft was now closer to the ground, 100 ft or so. As we drove west on Sigwalt St. to the 7-11 store to get soda pop for dinner. We pulled in and my father still refused to look up and cater the whims of the 2 of us. He went in and as we stayed in the car, I remember Suzie Rossbeck, who lived up the same street as us, and some of her friends were at the 7-11 hanging out outside of it. They then saw the UFO, hovering with no sound, only the wind had picked up. The wind was strange, blowing almost upward in direction and in a circular motion. The face that Suzie made was horrific, as in disbelief that this could not be happening. Her knees caved in and her friend dropped to the ground, horrified. What I thought at the time was a "neat" thing now was burned in to my memory forever as a horror. My sister and I now wanted to go home, not in a panic, just a rush to get home. The disk moving slowly was now above the intersection of Sigwalt St. and Wilke St. My father exited the Store, as did the attendant. My father finally looked up to see the disc and was amazed and puzzled as to what he was seeing, as we all were. It moved over Rolling Meadows and slowly climbed upward, as fast as it came down. It was about the size of one and a half houses (for the area I live in) it was black on the underside, blacker then the night sky and not reflective of any light, other then the lights that it had moving on its edges. All different colors, but mostly yellow, red, and orange. As it climbed it the night sky, it was tilted in a way we saw the top. It looked like a cross between the classic "Bell" shaped saucer and the Bob Lazar Type Saucer. The top was reflecting the lights on the edges so we were able to see the surface reflecting and giving away the topsides shape. It never moved quickly and as far as I know no one else saw it, but the 7 of us. At the time in Arlington and Rolling Meadows when evening came most people were inside, I am not sure if this was covered at the time in the papers. Only a few times in my life I have talked to my sister and when I was young, to Suzie about it. My father pasted away in 1991, and my sister being sick, I thought I had to at least post this somewhere and see if anyone else knows of this.

I currently work in International Air Freight Transportation, and with the understanding I have now of the landing patterns for O'Hare Airport, I now know it can not be explained as a Airplane as it Crossed the landing pattern for the North West Runway. It was to quite to be a helicopter, and too slow to be a small plane. The only reason I can give as to why it Dipped down, close to the ground, was that the UFO was avoiding the area of space in the sky where a landing plane would endanger it and collide with it.

I was spring of my third grade year. I was playing on some gymnastic bars with a friend of mine. Being near a naval airbase, our town regularly had planes flying over head, but when I saw this object, I am positive it wasn't a plane. It was stationary in the sky. Round and silver, and I was sure it didn't have any type of plane wings. There was no noise like a normal aircraft from the airstation. I thought maybe it was a balloon, or some sort of satallite, but it was sationary. About after 15 minutes the thing flew off very quickly in a straight line. It was very weird and it has haunted me since I saw it. I know it wasn't a dream, becuase my friend at the time saw it too. To my knowledge though, we were the only people to have seen it.

I was watching TV in the dark, from my couch in the living room, and noticed a very bright star through the skylight. I thought at first, wow...that star is really really bright. It caught my attention from being so bright. Then, all of a sudden, I saw 3 to four red lights flash in tandem on both the left and right side of the main object. At that point, I thought, this is not a star. I immediately went for the binnoculars. At this point, I settled back on the couch to view this object though the binnoculars. I thought, if this is a plane, I would be able to see it fly in, and move in another direction, at some point, as it came in for landing. It was at this point I discovered the object was triangle shaped, and that each side of the object had a colour. At this point, i can not tell you which side had what colour, but, in the context of a triangle, the / (denoting the left side of the triangle) was either red or green, and the \ side of it was the opposite, red or green. I also began noticing smaller bright objects flying away from the main object, flying away from it, and returning shortly thereafter. There were more than one of these "bursts", which I had originally attributed to possible gaseous bursts as if from a planet. However, I dismissed this concept when the "bursts" returned to the main object, and witnessed one fly out of my line of vision, only to return moments later to the triangle.

I watched these series of events unfold for the better part of an hour, when the object began to move out of my line of vision through the skylight. (note, I also looked at the object from the upstairs bedroom window, and from outside to dispell any thought of reflection off the skylight window.)

I don't know what it was, or if anyone else had witnessed this, however, I am interested in knowing if you'd received any other sighting reports from this time frame, and of the same kind of discription.

During the day time, sometimes as much as fifty flying objects together will travel faraway in the sky. In day time the objects has black arround and the center white. By the time sunset those flying objects will spred in certain ares of the sky and stay on one place with colorfull lights on. We will see the flying objects and the planets altogether as stars in the night sky. That's how another lifeform who has a connection to the mankind because of the performance of the star of Bethlehem, have managed to watch us day and night everyday. The white bottom of the object is a huge light that they will watch the activities on the Earth. Sometimes shoots a beam of light. The light balls that the people have seen and video taped while making crop circles are the end of this long light.

On a clear day by the time that sunset check for big bright stars in the sky. If you see any remember the area and wait untill next day. Next day before sunset check the same area in the sky and if you see any use a Camcorder, Binoculers or a Tellescope. You will see a flying object. To the naked eye you could see the object will move side to side. Actually when these flying objects stay on one place it will continuously spin. I believe them as the Teachers of the mankind and all the mysterious crations on the Earth are a work done by them.

I live in a house about 75 feet from the seawall in seattle wa., my room has a big window that faces the ocean. I woke up at about 3:30 in the morning and had to go to the bathroom, when i came back to bed i looked out at the ocean and saw a strange light. It was in the water, under the water, I thought maybe a boat had sunk close to the seawall. I put on some sweats and a coat and went out to look and see if anyone was in the water. It was foggy but I could see out at water level for a couple hundred yards. I got to the seawall and the light was bright, blue and yellow, it was about 30 yeards out from where I was standing. It moved slow away from me and got brighter, then it was almost out of the water it got dimmer. The thing came up out of the water, it was shaped like a blimp, like a long fat cigar, it had to be 150 to 200 feet long and a dull shiny color like peuter. The lights had dimmed alot but I could still se it real clear. It stopped about 20 feet above the water and just hung there for about 30 seconds then went out just above the water a couple hundered feet then went up and was gone in a flash.

Driving in from Albuquerque I noticed a weird sound in my brothers truck. I turned the radio off, but the sound just got louder. It sound like the bass was on full blast. We drive up to my brothers house and noticed a large ship in front of us that resembled a large plane getting ready to land. I started to freak out when i noticed it wasnt a plane but a ship of some kind. I told my wife to look at it but she was looking in the wrong direction and could see it but could hear it. So I ran into brothers house and brought him outside to see it, by that time it was over the Villa Linda Mall and it turned to the right side and disappeared into the sky. The wierd thing about this was that it was transparent. The stars were visible through it and also had a large sqaure

I was owner of a beach bar in Contadora. We were located directly on Galeon beach with ocean view towards north. One night one of my guests suddenly called everybody out to the beach beacause he saw a shiny light coming from south. Almost fifteen people went out to the beach including myself, when we saw the object (almost round, very shiny with different lights around it, ver colorful. First we thought on an airplane or helicopter or something like that, but if there is no emergency, private airplanes are not allowed to fly at nighttime in Panama. Besides, the style of flying was different, not a stable speed, no direct course, it looked more like zic zac, as it suddenly approached a neighbour-island, came down very slowly, we saw the lights reflecting in the water and on the isalnd, it did not land. We calculated the distance more or less about five miles. After a short moment the object took off and disappeared in an east direction in an unbelievable speed.

We were talking and i said, "Jacob, look at all those flashing lights!" We stared constantly for 30 mins. at the red, blue, and white flashing lights until a blue line went down and came back up like a yo-yo. The "string" of the blazing Yo-yo wrapped around it and then they disappered.
