I was in the parking lot of Scotts, and looked out the window. To the left of Scotts, kind of above the woods that is near-ish to the back of Scotts, I saw a shining object that was kind of oval shaped. It moved a bit, but after a while it just sort of disappeared.

i was just sitting there reading a newspaper then i heard a strange sound i then looked at my window and there it was a circle shaped ufo just floating there in the sky. i then quickly called my friend who was with me and we couldn't believe are eyes at first i blink and wipe my eyes to see if a was seeing things but a wasn't. it stayed there for about 10 minutes and then flew off into the east direction. and then it came back for a few more minutes it was amazing i just wished i had a camera with me at the time.

At about 21:00 I was chatting to my wife on the phone while she was in Durban (Greyville). She mentioned in a excited tone that she had seen 5 bright green lights moving slowly in a Southerly Direction and then West. I dismissed her comments as imagination. Then she MMS'ed the pics. About 30minutes I was told by my Dad (Cape Town) that they just saw 5 Lights Moving Slowly from the ocean towards the city, before turning and moving away towards Table View. I showed him the pictures and it was the exact same sighting as what my wife seen in Durban.

Date of sighting: 1965 0r 1966, Fall or Winter (it was cold)

It was so long ago, but once you see something like this, it's impossible to forget. Especially the feelings. I can remember exactly how I felt. Scared to death.

The Northshore Shopping center is on Rte 114 in Peabody, Mass. Just past the parking lot, going toward Salem, there is an exit for Rte 128 Boston. I lived on a big hill on the other side of the shopping center, and my friend lived in West Peabody, several miles away. She picked me up one night so we could go to a party in Boston, at Northeastern. We both worked at Jordan Marsh, in the Skyline Restaurant, so it wasn't strange that I would be looking up at the lit windows of the restaurant as we drove by the empty parking lot. I remember clearly that the lot was empty, so the stores were closed. There were a lot of tall parking lot lights lit up, and it was the sudden shadow in the lot that made me look up. My friend was driving, but when I saw something hovering over the stores, I told her to pull over to the side of the road. I got out, and then she did. I remember being very agitated when I realized that this thing was bigger than the entire complex. We said the usual things to each other..."My God!" "What IS that?" and similar things. As big as it was, it made absolutely NO sound. We stood there, staring at it...we could clearly see the outline of it and the size, because of the fact that all the stores had lights on. Just thinking of it now gives me chills. God, it was HUGE! We just stood there gaping, but then, it started GLIDING SLOWLY toward US! I am NOT kidding, it was heading our way! I remember yelling, "It's coming after us!" We were VERY scared and jumped in the car...we were too scared to look to see if they were following us. Just about a quarter mile down the highway was an overpass, and I told her to STOP under the overpass. We were scared out of our wits! We sat there for a good 10 minutes, engine and radio off, no lights. We were hiding. Then I got out and walked to the end of the overpass and looked around. I didn't see anything, but we weren't sure where it had gone, so we decided to wait longer before heading into Boston. After another 10 minutes, we slowly drove out and down #128, and since we were always listening to the (WMEX or WRKO) radio back then, the DJ was talking about all the callers who said they saw this thing. We didn't see the point in reporting it because it was all over the radio, anyway. Well, even after all these years, she and I never discussed it again, but she might have told her husband (or her second husband) and her kids, I don't know. I told my husband and my kids, but I didn't want to be considered a nut case, so I didn't tell anyone else. Sometimes I wonder if my memories could be jogged through hypnosis, but I wouldn't know who to trust with something like that. Since my friend was sick so much over the years, and I have autoimmune stuff going on and other unexplained symptoms, I wonder if anything else happened to us. Anyway, that's what happened. I hope it never happens again.

Size of object: It was bigger than the shopping center, just HUGE, it extended beyond all the stores, like a huge canopy. Biggest thing I've ever seen.

Estimated distance to object: maybe 300 feet..it was practically sitting on top of the Shopping Center. We were on the highway beside the parking lot, so we were pretty close to the stores. I think Jordan Marsh had 3 or 4 floors, so the craft was very low in the air.



Shape of object: round, with domed shape (and HUGE). Was not smooth.

Color of object: metallic, but dark...don't recall shine or lights on it. Looked very dark gray or black, but seemed to be a "matte" finish. Possibly had lights underneath, but they would have been like running lights, no spotlights or anything bright. Just can't recall that part. I would have remembered bright lights, though. It just looked like a huge shadow at first, but since the stores had roof lights, I may not have noticed lights on the craft.

My girlfriend and I were about 17 or 18 years old. It was either 1965 or 1966. She was pretty, with reddish-brown hair, and I was a green-eyed blonde. We were very close friends and went everywhere together. Just typical teens, with typical middle class families, I suppose. Both of us were considered intelligent, but, at that age, we didn't really apply ourselves in school. :-) She is dead now...she had a lot of medical issues throughout her life. So do I.

Additional comments: When I saw the movie, "Close Encounters of The Third Kind", I remember thinking, it looked similar to what we saw. Until I saw "X-Files, The Movie"..and I got VERY upset, because that one was more like what we saw, appearance and size were so close. What we saw was extremely frightening. The "Close Encounters" craft had a more "friendly" and gently rounded appearance. The one we saw on X-Files was terrifying, and I felt real fear. I told my husband that the people who made the movie must have seen what I saw! (I remember telling my friend that an entire city of people could fit in it). It looked like a round city, and looked like it had a LOT of different "floors", or "levels"...maybe as many as 35. The outer surface wasn't smooth at all. We made a pact to keep quiet about it. As we drove the 20+ miles to Boston, we kept pulling over, and I'd get out of the car to see if we were being followed. We didn't see it again, and I've never seen any other UFO's.

We saw an triangulated streemlined object flying really low, It was really fast becouse it passed us in just an eyeblink, it made absolutely no sound. the size is a bit hard to guess but I'd say approximately 4 to 8 meters long. It was going in an straight line passing us from behind to the front of our walking direction on my right side. I created a model and the picture of this model shows appriximately the angle from our point of view. The shape looked as in the picture... really abstract.. however, becouse it was going so fast we didn't have time to study it how it exactly looked, so this is how I remember it.

The triangular object was clearly visible as a silhouette against low backlit cloud (urban LA is never really dark). It had no lights. Its altitude was far lower than that of the many aircraft visible day & night from our rooftop deck (there are one large two smaller airports nearby), being more like that of a helicopter, of which we see many, for it flew not far above the office tower close to us at Wilshire and Bundy, and it did not take a normal commercial or private airplane route; that is, I have never observed either such planes or smaller private aircraft taking the route it followed, the nearest route being much higher and further south. It was about the size of a military plane or somewhat larger, but it made no noise as far as I could tell. It did not move very fast and was visible for about a minute as it flew off east south east (inland, & roughly towards downtown or south LA).

5 really brights lights have been spoted over the northern suburbs of S.A. on the 28 of January 2005. Through further investigation by me and my collegue we have found out that this sighting was present from around 5:00 pm local time and went through till about 12:00 that night. My Encounter with these UFO was around 8:30 that night. I was talking with my friend over the cell phone when my brother screamed at me in anxiety and told me to hurry to the balcony.As I got there 5 Bright Lights were approaching us.They were Travelling really slowly and effortlessly.

They are now about an altitude of +- 30 m above us and consist of a bright never seen before Omni lights and 2 tiny signal lights in the rear of the unit. They made no Sound on approach and made a humming like noise whille passing overhead, and no noise whille leaving the area?. I went to my friends house to warn him about their course and approach. We were on the phone to the police, Air traffic control at a local private airport. The arrport has been receiving a hole lot of call from all around the northern suburb, and their explanation is ...no explanation.

What is amazing is that big portion of the Gauteng(Municipality) area has witnessed it yet nobody really cares what it is. They take any explanation for it as the truth.
