the power went out so i was goin out two the shed too get sum flashlites and i heard a buzz and i lookedd up and their was this thing in the sky and it was brite green! it huvverd theyre four a wile and i showted two my wife "hey bobby sue go get the kamra!" and she came out and she saw it but hour kamra wasnt werkin. we watched it for a wile befour it disapeered compleetly. i just got a computer for christmas so i thot i might tell this on the internet. this is the best site ever! i'm on it all the thyme!

In July 1984, I was still in USAF stationed at Holloman AFB in New Mexico, my dad had dies the previous january, so I was back and forth out to Idaho with his estate intrests.

My father in law, Ollie was driving me down to Elpaso, although it's been so long I cannot remeber if I was going down to the airport, or just going down to help him move stuff, as I often did.

Anyway, we were driving south on hiway 54. It was a typical new Mexico day, clear pale blue skies, few clouds and about 95 degrees. About 2 or 3 miles south of a little old town named Orogrande, which is not much more than a wide spot in the road anymore, I saw something up ahead on the left side of the road hovering over the rail road tracks. As we got closer I knew this was no cruise missle test from fort Bliss, or white sands missle range, it was right on the hiway practically. Ollie slowed down, and I told him to stop, so we did. Being 24 at the time, I jumped out of the car and ran across the hiway to get a better look. Ollie meanwhile is yelling at me to get back in the car.

This thing was big, and hovered over the power lines running next to the Rail road tracks, I supposed it was maybe 15-20 feet above them., it was not moving at the time.

I started to hike up a telephone pole to get closer, but could'nt get any grip to climb, so I stood there, all the while Ollie is yelling to get back in the car.To discribe it, I would have to say it was about 20 feet wide, and about twice as long. It appeared to have a sort of running lights, for and aft. Red, blue, and green.

I studied it for manufacter marks, but could not determine how the appernt metal was joined to make the shape of the unit.I saw no welds or rivets, or joints of any kind. I could see atop the unit that there was for lack of a better tern a "cockpit", inside seemed to be quite bright, almost white. The unit made no sound at all. and no wind was present that day, so no dust was flying. I did'nt notice weather any cars had gone by to see it also, but ollie said none had. I was yelling to ollie.."My KINGDOM for a camara!!!" About that time, it strted moving, very slow, maybe 5 MPH north still above the tracks, it had gone about 100 yards when it crossed over the hiway heading north west. Ollie was still yelling and sounded a bit frantic, and was coasting south on the side of the road, he was already about 250 yards from where he stopped originally. As the unit went over the hiway to the west I started walking to the car, I got in and we watched it cruise slowy out into the desert away from the hiway, like it had all the time in the world. I looked forward , and said some things to ollie, and when I looked back, it was gone. I was never afraid of it, nor did I feel any impending doom or danger. Ollie sure must have tho. I kept talking about it, the whole time I was with Ollie, and he kept telling me to forget about it. ollie never admitted what we saw to my wife or her mother, he laughed and said it was a helicopter. But privately he admitted he saw what I saw.

I did'nt know why he would'nt admit it to any of our family, until he died in 1992 when talking to my ex wife ( his daughter) about it. She said that the reason he probably did'nt talk about it is that he had had two nervous break downs in the past, and did'nt want anyone to think he was crazy again. That explains why when Ollie and I talked about that day, he would say, "I've seen some weird stuff in my life" ollie was a Msgt in the USAF security police until he was forced to retire when he had his break downs.

I never talked about it to anyone , except friends, I don't know if they believe me either, but I could care less. I saw what I saw I was not out to see this stuff, I'm from Minnesota, and thought UFO's were a bunch of Bullshit.

Anyway theres the story...first time I told anyone other than family.

it is a time my math coaching time and i was study in higher secondry(12 class). as we are going the coaching at 6.00am in mornig and all history about it event said that to the teacher but they are not belived about it and after learn this event my teacher &friends fun to me. and this story said to my grand father so my grand father said to me that it event is gods event,do not looked it.

when i sit for toilet in open area in village at 5.30 O'clock in morning time i see in space with light sound one moon size ball come toward in earth direction but as seeto they go beyond to me and when i not see it these come to earth direction , this process reaptly and after this escape to space.

As I was halfway down my 750 foot long driveway, a green light suddenly appreared in the sky, moving south at a perceived very high speed. The initial impression was that of a meteor, except that it was green instead of white or yellow and left no trail. It moved so fast that it was in sight only a couple of seconds, disappearing behind aome tall trees on my property.

Now, at the risk of sounding like a regular sighter, I experienced a very nearly identical sighting about 6 years ago. On that occasion, I was on the highway when I saw the thing. Another person was with me and saw it also. Same apparent trajectory, same extreme velocity. I mention this mainly to explain why, on the more recent occasion, I instantly shut off the car and jumped out to see if I could hear anything. No sound at all, and I live in a very quiet part of the woods.

This time, as it turned out, my girlfriend and her daughter also saw the object or light. They were about twenty miles south of my place, traveling south when it appeared, apparently on the same southerly trajectory as when I saw it. Although we can't know exactly, our estimate of the time (we had had dinner together in Sandpoint, then she traveled south toward her place while I came north to mine) puts the timing very close to coincidence. I called the local authorities and the newspaper, but could find no other reports of this thing.

My best description of the object is an intense emerald green light, very well defined, moving approximately north to south at a perceived extremely high speed. I'm not an expert at estimating altitude or size, since they would obviously be relative in this case. I would say that the object seemed so well defined that it appeared relatively close. However, I've worked among scientists and technicians long enough to know not to trust any observation you can't actually measure.

I decided to report this sighting here because I Googled up the nearby report by the person in Vermont who saw something that sounds very like mine. If there's any way you guys can put us in touch, please leave a message.

I'm not looking to get drawn into any conspiracy/abduction/weirdness. However, I thought these two sightings were worth reporting, since I do consider myself a reasonable and sober person. This object appeared to exhibit ballistic behavior while at the same time looking like something with technology beyond my experience.

Tenia aproximadamente siete anos, iba junto con mi numerosa familia en la parte poaterior de una camioneta, ibamos muy contentos, cantabamos populares canciones, ningun adulto que nos acompanaba iba ingiriendo bebidas alcholicas, de repente como a las 6 de la tarde se empezo a escuchar un sonido mucho muy penetrante parecido al que hacia un avion al despegar, pero el sonido aumentado diez veces mayor, algunas de las personas empezaron a gritar de dolor y como enloquecidos de repente mi mama apunto con su mano un objeto a la distancia que venia en direccion hacia nosotros, yo senti un panico absoluto, pero no podia quitarle la vista al objeto, que era de color plata brillante, misma intensidad que aumentaba con el sol, haciendo dificil verlo, sin darme cuenta el sonido disminuyo porque me quite las manos de los oidos, ahora reinaba un silencio absoluto, pareciamos una fotografia, mire a mi alrededor y vi a toda mi familia paralizada en difereentes posiciones (como estatuas), yo era la unica que me podia mover, me senti muy sola y como que estaba sonando, y sin saber porque levante la mirada y vi como una puerta circular se abria-yo nunca vi que hubiera puerta-y se veia bien negro hacia adentro, fui rodeada como por humo que me produjo una intensa alegria, y con la sensacion de que podia volar, y mi cuerpo lo podia mover como yo quisiera- no recuerdo mas-, de nuevo estabamos en la carretera viajando como sinada hubiera pasado, nadie comentaba nada, yo le pregunte a varios familiares y nadie se acordo de nada. Mi mama me comento anos despuies que ella sirecordada ver el objeto y el molesto ruido, pero no mas=Despes de ese acontecimientoempeze con sangrados nasales nocturnos, a veces durante el sueno, pero ademas empeze a tener horrificas pesadillas, paralisis del sueno, que ahora a evolucionado a sleep apnea -uso aparato para dormir- durante mi juventud sonaba constantemente que alguien me violaba durante mucho tiempo y tenia paralisis del sueno, no podia moverme ni gritar, cuando despertaba me sentia muy enojada y deprimida, me sentia mucho muy diferente de las chicas de mi edad- a veces pensa que alguien de mi familia me violaba DURANTE EL SUENO, que me daban una clase de droga para no poner resistencia, nunca pude comprobar nada. Con el paso del tiempo empeze a desarrolar habilidades extrasensoriales como poder leer el pensamiento, presipitar eventos, presentir eventos futuros etc. y lo peor fue que en mi cabeza empeze a tener conciencia del tiempo, se me revelaban con figuras geometricas bellisimas, donde se representaba primera, segunda, tercera y cuarta dimension, en esta ultima ocurren cosas insospechadas, todo tiene que ver con el magnetismo de la tierra ,mucho tiempo sone con tenier hijos, pero me dijieron los doctores que yo no podia nunca tener hijos, lo intente con 4 parejas antes de casarme con mi actual pareja,con el cual procreamos un hijo, en cuyo parto (cesarea) casi muere mi hijito nadie dio explicacion de que fue lo que paso, los dos desarrollamos creo que septicemia o algo parecido, Todoo esto lo relato porque siempre he vivido a medias mi vida, no con la alegria que se supone. On the night of January 2nd 2005, three of us witnessed an unidentified floating light hovering over our field out back in Norfolk Connecticut. The sighting occured between 10:30pm and 11:15pm and we left before it disappeared. The light was white and moved about in the air in random directions--vertically and horizontally, diagonally too. The sighting occurred approximately 200 yards away. The altitude of the light ranged from just above ground to 100 feet in the air. When two of the three of us looked at the object out of the side of their eyes, it appeared to be flashing brightly for an instant. The area is very rural. It occurred over a small field of ten acres and there are few houses in the area, primarily hovering over a copse of pine trees in the middle of the field. Upon noticing the light, we stared at it for a while wondering what it could be. It wasn't a spotlight because we drove our car around to the other side of the field where another house sits and the light looked exactly the same still. We were afraid to venture close to it because we just didn't know what it was and thought it might be dangerous. We've never seen anything like this before and its been our weekend home for over 20 years. We have noticed in other sightings reports that lights such as these have been seen in Torrington recently, as well as in other parts of COnnecticut. It made no sound whatsoever.

We did actually take a great photo of the object. And it will be submitted to this site. It was also enlarged and enhanced. It looks like the moon but it's not. There was no moon that night--you can check it. It was overcast. And there were no stars. The light seemed much smaller than the moon yet larger than a star.

"A Norfolk Couple's Mystery: What Was That Ball of Light?"

NORFOLK-At about 10:30 on the evening of Jan. 2, Drew Quale and his wife, Sally, were with a friend at their weekend home on North Colebrook Road, packing up their car for a trip to Bronxville, N.Y., when they say they saw a brightly-lit orb hovering above a 10-acre field nearby.

The object zigzagged over the dark landscape, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, darting "randomly like a hummingbird" from just above the field to 100 feet in the air, according to a report the Quales submitted to www.ufoevidence.org.

For about 45 minutes, Mrs. Quale took pictures of the object with her digital camera, following it from the backyard as it ranged over a copse of pine trees in the middle of the field and behind a crabapple tree on one edge of the field. The Quales were from 200 to 300 yards away from the object. It made no noise.

About 45 minutes later, at about 11:15 p.m., the Quales decided they ought to leave. It was a Sunday, and they had to make it to Bronxville, a town in Westchester County, that night and go to work the next morning. As they were leaving, they drove to the other side of the field and into an ancient driveway, noting that the shape and intensity of the object didn't change. They left while the object was still visible.

"We were afraid to venture close to it because we just didn't know what it was and thought it might be dangerous," the report says. "We've never seen anything like this before, and [this has] been our weekend home for over 20 years."

Mrs. Quale, a public information officer for the Bronxville School District, said the object appeared to be about the size of a basketball. The Smith College graduate said she has explored the possibility that it was ball lightning, a vaguely-understood natural phenomenon in which a ball of electrical energy appears and moves horizontally through the air. She now doubts that was what she saw because it stayed so long, even after the Quales left. It remains a mystery, she said.

"It was like someone had a mouse and was moving a cursor," Mrs. Quale said. "It was like you might move the cursor this way and that way and click on the word you wanted to correct. We thought it was so weird we didn't want to go out there."

Mr. Quale, a Harvard Law School graduate and a senior partner with the Seventh Avenue law firm of Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, was quoted in Norfolk Now, the community newsletter that first reported the story, as saying, "We still have no idea what it was."

Though the object looks like a full moon in pictures, Mrs. Quale said she was certain it was not the moon or any other celestial body. The sky was overcast that night, she said, and everything was black except for the ball of light.

"It was absolutely black, because there was cloud cover and no moon and no stars, and if you looked out at the field with the eye you couldn't see anything but this white light," she said.

A meteorologist at the Western Connecticut State University confirmed that the sky was overcast the night of Jan. 2. Records compiled from a weather station at the Great Mountain Forest in Norfolk show that at 10:31 p.m. the temperature was 35.6 degrees Fahrenheit, and the humidity was at 97 percent, which is very high. The wind was calm to mild, and a very light rain fell sporadically between 8:30 and 11 p.m. that day.

Sixty percent of the moon's surface was illuminated on Jan. 2 in Norfolk, but the moon didn't rise that night until 11:31 p.m., 15 minutes after the Quales left, according to data from the U.S. Naval Observatory.

The Quales' strange encounter is certainly not the first of its kind in the region, though the Quales appear to be decidedly more credible than the average UFO spotter.

UFOs of all brands-from hot-dog-shaped ships with blue spotlights emanating from portholes to a small, star-shaped craft hovering above Main Street in Winsted-have been reported in Litchfield County on Web sites like www.nuforc.org and www.ufoevidence.org.

One story described a "mothership" visiting Litchfield center in 1971. Another reported a "bizarre star" that moved quickly across the sky in Washington in 2002.

One recent report bears a striking resemblance to what the Quales say they saw. On Sept. 7 of last year at 8:30 p.m., a 50-year-old quality assurance technician from Torrington reported seeing an orb whisk across the sky from the balcony of his second-story apartment. The man, an "amateur astronomer from a very young age," wrote that he saw a globe moving slowly through the air for some time before darting away quickly and disappearing.

It "appeared to be illuminated from within," according to an account on www.nuforc.org. "At the last before it faded from view, it was very dimly lit and looked like a crystal ball. It looked transparent, like a globe or sphere. From the time it moved quickly till it faded out could have only been a second or two. This quick movement probably covered 10 degrees of sky."

The man reported seeing the object again a week later, on Sept. 12, and then again another week later. The object looped back and forth and then zipped away.

"It was a very unusual zigzag type of pattern," the man wrote in a report on www.ufoevidence.org, where he also posted a diagram of the object's trajectory. "It did this zigzag type pattern about four times before flying off."

It was July 6th, 1978 at around 12:15 am. It was a starry summer night. I was at a freinds house and I felt an urge to go take a walk outside. 2 buddies went with me as I went outside. One said he felt an urge to go outside also. As we walked along a street across from a small city cemetary I noticed that one of the stars appeared to be close to the ground above the cemetary. It was a white light with a slightly blueish Aura. I then thought it was a light on a pole but there was no pole. It was too close to the ground to be a star. We joked that it was a UFO and continued our walk. We turned a corner and went back down a street to the house. One of my freinds went in and me and one friend stayed outside. All of a sudden we saw this light come down the street no more than 100 feet from the ground and it stopped dead motionless making no sound whatsoever. Then it turned on two red lights. We could then see its underside. It was triangular shaped with the white light at the front tip and two red lights in the rear corners. It then flew over top of us very slowly without making a sound. We could clearly see it as it was close to the ground. Again, no sound at all. After it pased over us it vanished very quickly, like it went off at a high speed or it cloaked or went into another dimension or something. I then looked at the sky and among the numerous stars many of them flashed on and off then went out. I had the feeling that there was many more in the sky masquerading as Stars. I'll never forget that day. Me and my freind learned to stop telling people about this because the common repsonse was, what drugs were you on? We know it was real. I just wonder the crafts origins because I know that Aliens, Alien spacecraft and inter dimensional being s are real. I just can't talk about it to anyone.

And get this, a next door neighbor who's bedroom window is in view of the cemetary said that she saw them landing in the cemetary at 3AM n the morning.

We were moving from an apartment to a place in the country about 7 miles away, our neighbor was helping us and as we were walking in the door our neighbor felt something touch her shoulder and when she turned she seen it first and said look so we all seen these 4 objects or lights just a few ft above the apartment next door. there was 4 lights and they went around in a clockwise motion then after about 3 or 4 rounds they would seem to rush to the middle bounce back out and go in a counter clockwise direction, my neighbor and i decided to walk under the lights to get a better look and it continued its pattern, i asked my husband what is this? is the world ending or whjats going on but he dident know what to say, it freaked us out pretty bad. finally my husband said we better get fineshed moving before dark so we went in and when we left it was gone but looking out the window on the way to our new place i seen it way up in the sky but it was much smaller, even when we got to our new place we could see it far up in the sky. to this day none of us know what it was, not even a clue really. sometimes i think it must have been a army or navy something or other or maybe someone playing a ufo prank but i know iv never seen anything like that since or before.

wife and i were walking dogs on road at side of house witch leads to lowestoft north beach and straight in front of us were two large circular off white lights very still about 150/200ft up and i'd say 400/500ft out from beach.we know we weren't going mad because the dogs went mentle.then they were gone the dogs carried on barking and dragging on there leads behind us as we brisky walked home.I'm not happy about it at all very weird and it's changed my thinking on afew things.cheers james
