On a piece of property about midway between the cities of Kings Mountain and Bessemer City, NC during the summer of 1959, 1960, or 1961, my brother and I were approached by what can only have been a being from another planet. The pasture we were in had been tilled in the previous few days leaving large chunks or clods of soil in the path of the tiller. My brother and I were in the pasture on our knees just playing, collecting and looking at the clods of soil. This was somewhat a treat for as we grew up in Miami and we would visit my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in NC during the summers. The terrain was that of a long slope that dropped from us at approx. a 20 degree incline. While we were ingrossd in our playing and without a sound (no speaking, noises, sounds from walking) we looked up to see what seemed to be very tall (it is hard to estimate as we were 5 and 6 years old at the time and kneeling) being walking directly towards at a distance of 15-20 feet who had come from the direction of the slopeing pasture so we were not able to see him until he was right on top of us. The most unusual aspect to the being was the coloring and texture of his outter garment. It was in the form of a flowing robe or tunic but covered him completely. It was a brilliant and shimmering white almost to bright to look at. It was extremely light weight as it flowed as he walked toward us and there was a mild breeze at best. On its head (the face was unrecognizable as it was also covered in the same material as the rest of the body) was positioned what is best described as the hat which the flying nun used to wear(if you are familiar with that old show) and it was just as white as the rest of his clothing. There was no interaction as my brother and I scrambled to our feet as quickly as possible and ran histerically to my grandparents house 50-75 yards away. I did not look back, I did not see or hear any type of craft. About 25 years after this occurred, my brother and I whom I was visiting started talking about it for the first time. To see that we had seen the same thing we went into different rooms and drew what we each recalled that day in my grandmothers pasture.seeing. The three things that were on each description was the fact that it was a being in a flowing garment, brilliant white in color and had what appeared in both drawings to be a triangular shaped head.

While assigned to the US Army in South Korea as a aviation maintenance helicopter mechanic, I and another individual witnessed what we believe to have been a UFO. I was at the field dining facility at about 6:00AM and happened to look down the valley and noted the fog. My reason for noting the fog was we were to have aircraft flying that morning and with the fog rolling in our missions would probably be delayed. As I was watching the fog, I noticed that the fog began to separate as if something was making it move. Out of the fog came an aircraft hovering at about 10-15 knots. The craft was top shaped/cone shaped and had red, green, and blue lights rotating at the top and the bottom as if scanning. I heard no jet engine noise, i heard no internal combustion engine noise at all. I did hear a slight humming noise but it could have been field generators and not the craft. It slowly moved up the valley coming within about 500 yards of my position and then moved further into the valley finally disappearing into the fog. I looked over that the dining facility manager, a senior noncommissioned officer of the US Army, and asked him if he just saw what I saw. He looked at my with some trepidation and nodded that he had and then stated, " we didnt see nothing" and then walked away. The craft had no visible weapons, no visible markings, no US flag, no international flag, and no international number designator on the skin of the craft. There were no visible exhaust trails and there was no smell of burnt jet fuel or any type of fuel for that matter. It never changed course and acted as if we weren't even there observing. In that valley that the craft traveled up were 18 US Army Attack Helicopters, 12 US Army Observation Helicopters and over 250 US Army personnel. The fog was so dense that you could not see the unit in the valley but the craft was large enough to part the fog and was very, very visible.

The other witness absolutey refused to make any further comments and had a look of complete fear in his face. He knew I was standing there and knew that I saw what he saw but because of his seniority I assume he felt he had no other choice but to disavow this sighting. My squad leader laughed it off, and told me it was probably something from North Korea checking us out. It was not a military aircraft nor was it any type of spy platform.

When I was a kid playing outside in the snow something caught my eye. As I happened to glance up, I saw a rectangular object only a few hundred feet away at low altitude (note the sun was behind me not glaring in my eyes). It was moving maybe at 40 mph from my left to right. It had a checkerboard pattern on the lower side of the craft which seemed flat not rounded. The colors were red and silver (see drawing) no lights were visible on the object. After a few seconds the craft flew away from me at incredible acceleration. It was a clear calm day with little wind but no sound, smoke or vapour trail was witnessed. The object disappeared over the horizon (a few miles was visible in flat farm country) in much less than one second!! Now I have no idea what this was but soon after I became keenly interested in the subject of UFO's.

The object was approximately 24X40 feet and looked very thin maybe 1-2 feet thick. In my estimate it should have broken the sound barrier but no sound was heard. If it was an optical projection of some sort then someone went to a lot of trouble to impress an audience of one in rural Nova Scotia during winter!

this object object was cigar shaped it was bright and a shinning object and it was traveling at about 20 mph. and the size of a small compact car ! it then slowed to a stop

and for about 60 seconds .then it started to move off slow about 20 mph again and this came down to about 100 feet and they got a closer look . at the object and they

got a better look at the object . i didnot see the object i was told about the sighting by friends who have work for u.s.government contractors . and donot want there names and address publice . i am a mufon field investigator in the united states in the city of kansas city, missouri .

The "thing" moved approximately 1oo ft., stopped and moved again, stopped and moved again, vice versa. I turned my head away and it was gone. 5 lights in a straight line every other one was red, and every other one was blue. They blinked from red to blue and from blue to red.

My neighbor lady and I were examining her pine tree and of course looking upward when I noticed an object high in the sky going in erratic directions. I brought it to her attention and then she exclaimed that there were two such objects. We watched them for about 5 minutes and then they just shot up higher in the sky and out of sight. We stood there silent for a minute like two people in shock. She then said that maybe we had witnessed a couple of UFOs.

When I got home, I looked up MUFON on the internet and the closest one was in Santa Barbara. I emailed them and they responded about a week later sayint that there were no reported sightings in our area.

I know what I saw was not a sattalite, but something else.
