I was in the soccer field looking up for a second, when I saw it. It confused me for a minute, and I checked for signs of an aircraft, since I have a knowledge of aircraft. It climbed up in elevation, and disapeared.

Driving westbound, toward home, out of the Manassas area. Also had my teen-aged Son in the vehicle. Road was dark, sky was dark, with some clouds here and there, no storms, otherwise very clear night...stars were out and commercial air traffic were on their normal approaches & departures to /from Dulles Int'l airport.

Suddenly, the sky to our west began to become increasingly brighter, clouds sillouted and sky lit up almost like daylight in the area to the west...a brilliantly bright green glowing object, extremely large, trailing some smoke, or vapor, crossed our field of view, and traveled horizontally, it appeared then to take a rapid descent to earth. It either landed, or crashed, but there was no sound asosciated with the incident...and no residual smoke rise, etc....

We were puzzled as to what it was...it was extroadinary, and was very large, moved rapidly, and didnt resemble, or behave, like any previous meteor activity that we had wotnessed...and no trace of any downed aircraft,missile, or meteor was ever reported (to date& to our knowledge).

o objeto tinha a forma de uma grande esfera de cor opaca como aluminio e descreveu uma trajetoria na direçao sul para o sudoeste sem produzir qualquer tipo de som ou ruido .com o deslocamento do objeto o mesmo desprendia uma cauda de fumaça de cor branca. sua trajetoria era retilinea como que deslizando sobre uma superficie plana. a esfera nao continha qualquer tipo de saliencia ou janela sendo totalmente lisa refletindo pouco a luz do sol. apos cerca de aproximadamente 2 minutos o objeto desapareceu subitamente da visao [nao se ocultando por detras de nuvens ou montanhas] A visao deste objeto nao foi agradavel,transmitindo a impressao de que estaria observando ou talvez estudando o panorama a sua volta [impressao pessoal] PORTUGUESE ]

driving westwards on A27 towards Lewes near Mount Caburn when we spotted a bright light hovering on the left side of road in sky.We made a joke about ufo's then futher on it moved to the right side of road about 3 hundred yards away and approx. 2 hundred ft up?I asked my son(who is six) to remember every detail so he could draw it then when I could have a look I saw a triangle or diamond shape with lights on the underneath connected by bands of light from each light.What my son drew was different,almost a humped back shape with three lights mounted on the front.Did he seee the side view I wonder?What made me wonder was that this was NOT an ordinary aircraft so perhaps it was connected to the MOD?

Very unusual,enough to bother me to do this and search on the net for somethng that looked like it,which I have found.

I am not a crank so this is not the sort of thing I would report but thought you might like to know of our experience.John

big yellow object with flashing green lights came down from sky and hovered over a yellow house for about 10 min and then dissapeared into the sky as fast as the eye can blink

In the sky there were long shaped green lights in a circle and they were moving round (in the same place but just to the side and back again). they were really big, and i was with my friend when we saw them, but my friend had seen them about a week ago with her mum at her house-exactly the same thing. when i was driving home with my mum i could see more of the lights and it looked like there were a ring of long green lights and another ring of long green lights around them. im not sure if it could be anything other than a UFO, it would be great if someone who lives in shrewsbury could have a look in the sky for these wierd lights and reply to me if they know what they are: rachel_white3@msn.com ,(if you do email me about the lights please put UFO in the subject-thank you), when i saw the lights, i was outside Cineworld cinema looking towards Abbey Foregate, i also saw the lights at Sutton Farm and Oteley Road.

I was merging onto Sunrise Hwy going eastbound when I looked up in the sky and immediately a bright white/bluish light that was moving extremely fast caught my eye. I alerted my girlfriend and was able to get her to look quick before it went away; she was able to catch it as it went fast across the sky and dissapeared. It wasn't moving straight across the sky but it went up and down 3 or 4 times in an oscilloscope path before taking off in a straight path. The speed was incredible. The object did not slow down as it changed from downward to upward motion.

I assumed the light was a search light on a river towboat. I drove to a city park that overlooks the River, fortunately I keep a small pair of binoculars in my car. I postioned myself with a fine view of the River. I found the searchlight, and was stunned to see that it was hovering above the River and not part of a tow rig. At first I thought that my imagination had ran wild, so I took another look and another. I have re-visited the site many times and have the seen the same thing. This is odd, the locatiion is only 25 miles south of St. Louis and is welll traveled.

Me and my cousin were siting outside and while she was talking to some people I saw a lite in the sky it was comong from verticaly down and then it flew horizontaly, I first thought that it might be a plane but as the object came closer I saw it well , it was round with lights around it . I said outloud "hey look it's a space ship" they all said no at forst but when they took a better look they confirmd that what I said. This object Flew ovwr Skopje the capital of Macedonia While Nato and USA troups were bombing Yugoslavia, so some of thee present there thought that it's some cind of secret aircraft of NATO or the USA. But I desagree this thing was moving like no other plane I've ever seen before those kind of manevers can not be done by our air crafts.
