The light in the sky is getting increasingly brighter as the year goe's on.Almost looks like a star but is too bright to be one. Noticed last summer in 2011 and has continued to grow since then.Also have noticed this year a smaller and just about as bright (star??) beneath it.Do'es anyone know what it is???

March, 20, 2011.

It was Sunday night and I went outside to check if my 4 dogs had water in their bowl. As I was outside about to light up a cigarette, I noticed that suddenly their was a bright light shining from above. I looked up and saw a disc-shape object in a cloud. The object was shining a bright bluish-white light. It was hovering silently in the cloud. I looked at it and I thought about going inside to take my digital camera to take some pics. It was like "they" could read my mind, because the object instantly started to become smaller and smaller until it was as big as a basketball, and then disappeared. like when you turn off a light.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No! This was not a man-made object, nor a natural object.

It was about 8:45 pm , when i was looking at the stars all were bright but none of them were moving. But one particular star was very bright and it was moving. It was like constantly switching off to various colours and it appeared as though someone was taking photograph from the sky. My mother was there with me and i asked her to look at that particular star . She too said that only that sphere like star seemed to be moving.

I live in Rio de Janeiro, I borned here 30 years ago. When I was 19, I had a girlfriend that I know by internet chat. At the first or second time in her house, in another city and state, her brother (he was 12y) told that there was a ufo out side. I come out too see like the others families that were aded by their kids who were playing together at the street and were the firsts to see the thing. There was over the houses at end of the front street (honduras street, my gf lived in another perpendicular st, named Bolivia. A little ball of light making some evolutions 30 meters over the houses. After 1 and half minutes, it desappear, I entered take a shower, put a coat and walked to the end of honduras st in the company of 3 other boys trying to explain the sight. I remember that I stopped corring the arms I said loud: I would like to see it again, in portuguese. It reapear (more near), made some movement aproach from me, when perceived I want contact (less than 10 meters) and desapear when I thank in the possibility of abate it with anything to prove the existence of ufos. It was a stupid thinking, wishing... I didnt hear any noise in this contact. It change the structure of my mind. Now, I'm a different person. Me and a friend were inside his house talking and we heard a noise out side so we went out side and saw what looked like a glowing human it had arms and legs like a human but its head was wierd it had big eyes .then it went up and started slowly moving in the air.

The first time I was looking down and my boyfriend almost jerked to a stop when he saw something unexplainable in the sky. He described it to me as a hovering disk like shape with a white-yellow glow. The all of a sudden a bright green flash, and then the object split in two and shot away from each other. The object and the light then disappeared.

The second time I was just window-gazing as I normally do as the passenger, and saw something so fast that my body seemed to freeze up the whole time I witnessed it, I couldn't even tell my boyfriend to look. It was a yellowish white light that seemed to start to fall out of the sky, at first I thought it was a burning out star. But then I started to notice a distinct object and what seemed to be a vortex it was leaving behind. It left behind two trails of light behind it and what looked to be a sound vortex of a clearish blue hue in the middle. The light and what it was leaving behind then just seemed to dissipate in a split second. Both me and my boyfriend got the chills for 30 mins and tears were brought to our eyes at the sightings. We couldn't clearly enough explain the overwhelming feeling we got to any of our family or friends.

It was a rounded, pyramid shape and about 6-8 ft in width. maybe 5 ft high. There was no noise, no smoke or any signs of wings or anything that would help it fly. it was dark silver against the blue sky, maybe because it was reflecting the brush underneath. I cant say for sure if the bottom was flat or not, just that it appeared smaller at the top, no sharp edges, and appeared to rotate because of the pattern in which it "changed shape" it was not disk or cigar shaped.

Rural, lots of chest high brush that dotted the landscape, but enough room between bushes to walk thru. It was on MCB Camp Pendleton. It happened off the designated trail that the training was taking place on. There was no clear path to where we seen the object. Very unwalkable area.

Myself and about 40 other Marines in my platoon, including seasoned staff sergeants and sergeants, witnessed a small "rounded pyramid shaped" UFO about 80-100 feet from us, take off very slowly from some brush. The small brush wasn't everywhere but it did hide the UFO so that we didn't notice it until it took off. I say that because we were facing in that direction for a good 20 minutes before it lifted off. It was very sunny out with zero cloud cover and our platoon was sitting in a set of bleachers that faced in the direction of the ufo, and that is how i am sure that everyone had saw it. Also because everyone was like "O.M.G look at that thing!" The sergeants and staff sergeants, who were instructing this class session, faced us, so their backs were to the object. When they saw us pointing and talking they looked back and also said "what is that?" Although they were a lot more composed than we were. Although i personally never saw it as it was sitting on the ground, it caught our attention as it popped up from behind the brush and it was moving very slowly. There was a slight wind, but this thing ascended in a back and forth swaying motion, unaffected by it. It appeared to change shape but then I realized it was rotating, which made it appear to change shape. To me, it looked dark silver when it got past the horizon and only the blue sky was in the background. There was no noise that i could hear and there was no smoke or anything else. Perhaps it was a kite, i thought and i deliberately looked for someone holding the string. Nobody, was out there because and it didn't make any sense to be that far off the trail. We weren't allowed to have cameras out in the field but everyone sneaks them out. I had mine in my pocket but because of where i was sitting i was afraid of getting caught if i took a picture. perhaps someone else got a pic of it. This whole process took about a minute and a half until the object was out of sight. As i said before, it swayed back and forth as it went up, but also steadily got further and further form us. Afterwards, I asked the sergeant giving the class, what it was, and all he did was laugh and say something like "oh, that is a just a charge in the air that happens because there is an apple juice factory down the road a ways, and it gives off electricity in the air, it happens sometimes." For the rest of the night everyone in my platoon was asking if anyone got a picture of the object and we talked about it all night asking what it could have been. The senior marines refused to comment on it.

no, initially i thought a balloon, but nobody holding a string and it was going back and forth against the wind and didn't always move at the same slow speed and sometimes it swayed further to one side than it did to that side before.

I am 28 years old, I served 4 honorable years in the USMCand flew on KC-0130's as my military occupation so i am knowledgable about military aircraft. 2 kids, married, not religious, nor very spiritual, open minded about the supernatural though not a fanatic. interested in ufo's since this incident. i wear glasses and had them on that day. college freshman.

I am opened minded about the possibility of UFO's being real. I am not very religious nor spiritual. Before the incident I never really watched or read up on UFO's as i do now. simply because I cannot explain what i saw, i want answers. I just watched an episode of "UFO FILES: alien encounters", and the depiction of one of the UFO's that had landed in a farmers pasture moved exactly like what i saw in my sighting, and i thought it worth trying again to tell my story because i feel the way the object moved was very strange and deliberate.

The possibility of reaching and contacting the other people that were there that day wouldn't be hard at all. I feel this is worth looking into. I am reminded of this incident every time I see a show about UFO's and I feel I haven't forgotten or distorted any of the details of the incident because the memory has always been fresh in my mind. I would have reported this incident much much sooner but the demands of the military never let me sit down and find whom to report it to. Also, I never had the slightest clue on whom to contact, but this incident needs to be documented as having really happened.

It was truly Amazing site , i was bleeding excitement and adrenaline loll. I was inside my apartment and my friend who lives upstairs called out to me in distress ,and when i ran outside I saw about four orange lights ,(larger than plane lights) , they were not blinking like regular planes. They were moving quite slowly in the same general direction but they were not in any order. As mentioned before the entire event lasted about 5-7mins. They just kept rising from the horizon , one by one and in twos. Contacted the airport and they contacted the coast guard , they took a description but did not give us any information ,such as if it was something they knew about.

Now i wished I had taped it ,but i just froze when i saw this , i didn't know what to think , what to do .

I see some of the posts on this website are very similar to what I saw but they were seen in the US which is far from where , but the confusing thing is that they were reported to be seen at exactly the same time I saw it , (right now we carry the same time zones) , which would mean these things were far out in space for us to see it at the same time ,because they were not moving across the sky that quickly.

I'm very interested in this topic , not so much my friends who saw it ,but they were equally as excited. I don't strongly believe it may be aliens , it can be undiscovered scientific phenomenon , after all we still know very little compared to what is out there and just because something adds up , doesn't mean it is correct.

Each of the lights were round in shape, and from where we could see them, were about as large as the largest star or planet in the sky. Each was an orange-red color, and quite bright. They were all on the same "flight path" - one after another but we could tell they weren't part of the same "craft", they were individual "crafts". There were quite a few of them - maybe 20 or more - but by the time I saw them 5 could still be seen and there were no more coming from the north.

Relative size - each light was about two or three handwidths away from the next light, and each light was about the width of one of my fingers, maybe 1/2 an inch. They seemed far away, and we could only see the lights, not the objects so I have no idea what the actual size was.

Our home, where we saw these from, is in an urban area, although we are on an acre. We are close to two highways and the Phoenix airport is 20 minutes to the north and west of us. These lights were not flying in the regular, or alternate, flight paths of planes and there are no special features around - just subdivisions.

At around 9:30 to 10:00 pm march 24, 2012, my husband had been outside to check on our septic tank which has been giving us problems. He happened to look in the sky as we have been watching the two planets lately and saw a number of orange lights "flying" - coming from the north and heading south-east. We have lived in the same location 17 years and know the flight paths of the planes - this was not one of them. He thought it was odd since their color was also not like an airplanes lights, and they were'nt really close to one another, but he could tell they were all similar, one after another. He watched for a while (possibly a few minutes) and then came into the house to get me. When I had located my shoes, and came outside, looking north I immediately saw one of the orange-red lights, but he directed me to look east, where there were 4 more moving south. They were individual lights - not all part of one object, and they seemed far away to me, although my husband thought they were like the height of what a helicopter would be. They weren't traveling extremely fast, as I watched for a few minutes and the last one (which was the first one I had noticed to the north) could still be seen. They also were not directly overhead, as we had to look east to see them. My husband expected more to come from the north, since he had already seen so many, one after another, but there were no more - he didn't keep count of how many he saw. I myself saw 5 in total, and thought they were almost a pink color, although mu husband decribed them as orange - and they were not flashing on and off and there were no other colors of light. Perhaps they were some military aircraft or something, but it was out of the ordinary and we didn't hear any sound from an aircraft.

It was not natural like a star or planet - they were definately air "craft" of some sort, moving across the sky not overly fast, but at a good speed.

Since UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, of course I am aware there are many of these. If the question is if I think these, or any other UFO, is alien (from another planet) in it's origins, no - i never have, and I still don't. I do believe that many of the undentified things and happenings in this world could be spiritual beings, or "principalities" manifesting themselves, that the Bible talks about. We normally only see the physical things - but there are other "dimensions" to life.
