To me, it looked like a small aircraft, banking to the left (north), but with only one wing. It was extremely bright (bright enough to cause my husband and I to look up from our computers in fully lit rooms). The colour of the light was blue-white. It highlighted the craft as it banked to the north in a quick descent. It alarmed us enough to think an airplane was going down, only that it was missing a wing.

I'm not a big believer in UFOs (aliens, anyway). We do have a small aircraft airport not too far away - about 15 minutes from here. We also have an Internation Airport - 1/2 hour away. Military base, approx. 2 hours away.

That being said, I've been around aircraft and lived near various airports, attended airshows, etc., my entire life. Neither my husband nor I could explain what on earth that thing was.

We could have easily said it was an aircraft, but it didn't look like one when it was lit up. It didn't behave like one either.

Additionally, we did check at the time of the sighting with local news and airports. We checked again in the morning - there were no reports of missing, down or damaged aircraft, and there were no weather disturbances such as lightening (which is exactly what it looked like - an aircraft lit up by blue/white lightening).

i was driving on the highway at sunset time. somthing lighted in the sky that draw my attention

it was moving very fast and like a random way,,,, not in the normal aircraft moving then it passed

to the north and disapeared .. i couldn;t believe what i saw!

the green lights were about half a centremetre wide, oval shaped ,deep blood neon green,with the thinner end in line with the direction it was travelling , at the rear there was thin line joining the two objects together in a arc shape the speed at which it moved was incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had just retired to bed early (between 9pm and 10pm). My partner was downstairs. As I entered the bedroom, a bright flash caught my attention from the window. I looked out just in time to see a very bright amber light, shaped like a crescent shoot out from behind Edam's church tower. It was so fast that I literally only caught the briefest of glimpses. I moved closer to the window and shouted for my partner to come upstairs. By the time he had reached the bedroom, the object was just a very small speck of light receding into the distance. It vanished just as my partner looked out of the window. He was not sure if he had seen anything at all.

AFTER WE WAS IT A 2ND TIME THE FLIGHT PATTEN WAS THE SAME OVER AND OVER I GOT OUT MY VID CAM AND FILMED IT OTHER PEOPLE WERE UP FROM US ABOUT 300 MTRS AND THEY SAW IT TO THEY WERE LOCALS , THE SAME THING OVER OND OVER WE GOT IT ABOUT 4 TIMES THE JUMBO THEN THE JET AND BALL WHAT GOT ME WAS THE BALL HAD NO NOISE THE JET WAS LOUD AND CRACKLYAS IT WENT OVER US FLAT CHAT THAN THE BALL IT WAS FASTER THAN THE JET . THE JET TOOK SAY 10 TO 11 SEC TO DIVE AND GO OVER US THEN GO OUT OF CLEAR SIGHT THEN TURN AND THE BALL WOULD COME DOWN THE SAME WAY A DIVE THAN ACROSS US AND TO WERE THE JET TURNED IN 2 TO 3 SECS BLOODY FAST U GOT GOOSE BUMPS LOOKING AT IT .IAM LOOKING FOR THOSE TAPES NOW WE WERE ALL TLKING ABOUT IT THE OTHER NIGHT . my neighbours and my family ( myself included ), witnessed a flaming object in the sky that appeared to be possibly following the line of the atmosphere. It was not an airplane or meteor. We took about 10 digital still pictures of the object and waited for the local nighttime news show to find out what it was, as it was a couple of days after the meteor passed by earth and it was in between the flights of tha American doing his test flights in that 10 million dollar space contest. There was no mention on the news nor in our local newspaper that following Tues. I then contacted our newspaper e-mailed them a couple of pictures, and they had no idea what it was and there had been no other reports of any such sightings, I've gotten no response from any tv station I have e-mailed. I was watching CNN a week and a half later and they showed a video taken by a couple in Utah(?) of the SAME OBJECT taken days after our sighting the news anchor at CNN didn't no what it was either. Upon seeing the video I e-mailed CNN to inform them of our sighting and that we had pictures but they have yet to respond. If you know of this object and what it was PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us know what we witnessed that evening, no one else I have talked to saw it, we can't be the only one's to have witnessed this object!!

looking toward the evening sky facing North near the dipper I saw a metalic edge then a shining light. could you please heip me idenfy this. could it have been a stallelite?

I was taking the garbage to the street when suddenly there was a bright flash of light that lit up the entire area around me. I looked up and in the eastern sky saw what I first beleived to be a shooting star. The object left a very large blue/silver streak in the sky. After thinking about it, I'd seen shooint stars before buit none with such a large trail. The flash was apparently bright enough that my wife who was in the garage asked if that was lightning. We discussed it and listened to the radio. On a truckers radio there were callers from St. Louis, Tennessee and the Cincinnati area who reported seeing the flash of light and slight variations of the above description.
