Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Object was flat with an oval in center somewhat resembling the Milky Way from the side. Completely blue with hints of purple and a single red light near the top. Moved very fast creating a blueish trail. Unable to photograph it due to speed.

Size of Object(s)

Far off in the distance somewhere over the Idaho border near Red Rocks Wildlife Refuge and was half a finger width across. I am uncertain of actual size.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

Object was more than a 1000 feet up from the ground and approximately seven or so miles away.

Description of Area / Surroundings

There is a radar/communication sphere that is heavily guarded nearby the area the UFO was in. Guards there have a right to shoot upon sight.

There were three satellites in the sky at the time but nowhere near the UFO

Enormous black triangle. "Stars" at each point. Blacks out the other stars when it moves. Can float slowly or fly in a seeming "hyperdrive".

I would say it was very high in the sky, but took up a lot of space. It was just huge. I can't say in feet.

Seemed to be quite high in the sky. At least peak altitude of commercial aircraft.

Urban area. College town. Lawrence has military bases nearby. I've seen B-2's fly by, F-16's etc. This was NOT an acknowledged vehicle.

It slid across the night sky in a way that we could immediately tell it was something (we thought at the time) not of this earth. After sliding across the sky, it stopped. The lights got brighter (the "stars") and the craft zoomed away at an incredible speed, straight up towards space until it disappeared. I never knew that others had seen such similar things, and people have videos of the exact thing I saw (and similar, but smaller craft), so I limited myself to telling close friends.

Now I think it's a military X-Craft.

I think it could be a military craft. At the time I thought it was a space ship from another planet.

I always believed in ET life. I didn't know if UFO's came here or not. I feel that they probably have been here, but this triangle is seen too often to be alien.

It was the shape of a hat. Silver and no taller than two or three feet high.

It was rural in my neighborhood.

Outside playing in my court (aged 18) at 1:00 am when I noticed a silver object flying. The object somehow found me and circled around the houses in my court. It actually followed me and at that point I ran over to the Bells' (my neighbor's house) area. It then hovered over me no more than twenty feet straight over my head. Then it raised an antenna, hovered some more and took off out of sight in under a second. It made no noise while flying or hovering.

Saw the same UFO in the History Channel's UFO program. In 1982 in South America, I believe it was Brazil where the object entered their space. The object was able to come to a complete stop and then move faster than their military jets. As the pilots said--it made no sound or motions thru the skies.

It was cloudy and raining so all i saw was a very faint white light above the clouds.

I heard 2 different "ships" overhead. They were were going very fast as I could hear them one at a time slicing through the air. Like the sound a very fast baseball makes only louder. Kinda sizzling through the atmosphere. There was no engine noise of any kind. The sky was cloudy so i could only see a very faint light as they passed overhead. I asked other people but no one else saw anything. Just before the sighting I did hear a jet landing at Standiford Field. Its like the ufos were following the jet and after it landed they took off at an incredible speed. First one then the other.

Several in the sky NIGHTLY. I dont know why but there is a HUGE URANIUM deposit that people are trying to keep large corps from accessing and mining for in Pittsylvania County. The UFO's I see are multi-colored and spin rapidly. I see them come oput of the east and there is always at least 1 and sometimes as many as 7(not usually).

I cannot tell how large they are. I have never seen 1 land.

I report this because no one else is likely ever to do so. As a kid in cub scouts the scout leaders were Air Force personnel from Hamilton field. On a camping trip after the scouts were sleeping the leaders stayed up and talked shop. I was listening as one who worked in the tower at hamilton and the subject shifted to UFOs. The man stated that a UFO landed on the end of the runway and the air police went out with red lights and sirens going and everyone was in a panic over it and then the thing flew away. The man said that the air police were happy it left as they had no idea what they would have done once they got there., he went on to say that UFOs were common just north of the end of the run way which was where I lived as a kid and that when planes were around they disappeared only to come back once the planes were gone. It is not likely any Air Force personnel will ever report this event. the UFO was probably playing with the Air Force.
