Just white lights far away.And red blinking lights going east to west.I didn't here anything,just the wind.So I drove home.

10 to 15 burning lights (like what you see coming out of the back of a jet) in a big circle. The lights (fire) were about the size of of a nickle held at arms lenght. The entire circle covered about a 100 foot diameter

I would have to say if I stretched out my arms and speard my hands 2 feet apart would be what the size was when we were out of the car

At busy insection. Stop lights on all 4 corners. Gas station on SW corner. Small plaza mall on NE corner. Cemetery on SE corner. I do not recall what sits on the NW corner. Just a couple blocks from the Rock River

It was 1/20/89 and my boyfriend and I were driving from Polo, Illinois to Sterling, Illinois. We were in the front seat with him driving. My son who was 4 at the time was in back seat. We were about 5 miles outside of Polo, driving on what they call the Freeport blacktop road. There is a house there that has a 3rd story lookout. Everytime I go past the place I look and think how I would like to live there. Anyway, as I was looking towards the west waiting to see the house I noticed a bright red light in the sky. It looked like Mars, but about twice the size you would expect Mars to be. I pointed it out, and stated that "I was not an expert, but I thought Mars came out around March, not January!" I kept looking for it as we drove on to Sterling, trying to keep an eye on it between the trees and landscape. Then, when we were about 1 mile from the intersection of Freeport road, and East Lincolnway, the object was much closer to us. At this time it looked like one of those planes that drag behind it a sign. You know, one of those banners that tell you of a grand opening or big sale or whatever. I thought it looked like it was on fire. I was screaming for my boyfriend to stop, and pull over. He just kept driving like nothing was going on!!! He wasn't even looking up at it at this point. He was driving like he was in a trance or something. My son was screaming and crying "Santa Claus", "Santa Claus", "Santa Claus", over and over. I was going nuts! I was screaming!! I wanted to pull overand watch. I thought I was going to be a witness to a fire, or worse, a plane crash!! Anyway, he kept driving and the object was getting closer and closer so I started hitting his arm to get him to pull over. I just couldn't believe him! How could someone be so calm at a time like this! When we reached the corner he did pull into the gas station and we all jumped out. At this time the object was just above us, and then it just vanished! Just like that, it was gone. I looked around. I could not understand why people were not looking up. It was like we were actors in a movie, but were on the wrong set. We got back into our car. We were freaked to say the least. We decided not to describe it until we got home. At that time we both wrote down what we saw. I saw 10 to 15 burning lights (like what you see coming out of the back of a jet) in a big circle. The lights (fire) were about the size of of a nickle held at arms lenght. The entire circle covered about a 100 foot diameter. He saw not only the lights but an object that he says was like a very dark purple color sauser shape. Neither one of us heard any noise coming from object. I could not believe that this did not bring out the Air Force, and why it was not the headlines the next day. Someone had to see it! I have drawn pictures of what I saw and just how big it was. We could not of been the only ones to see this

seemed to be triangle shape, black in colour.approximately 10-12 stories high. which went flat like it was on its side. then the object morphed into a tube/cylinder shape. seemed like it had seen us and tryed to get closer but stopped and turned back. and dissapeared over the builings about 700 yards away.also friends thought it was a black bag blowing in the wind , but at that height it couldn't of been that far up and there was absolutly no wind. there was no reasons for this sightings and no noise as far as i know.

black bag in sky. but no wind and the object was not flapping in the air.it was morphing fast.

This object went so high and so fast that none of us could see any shape.

It followed the coast from the city of lillesand, past Kristiansand, and a bit furtther, but this is when it started to gain altitude. There are no major military bases, and just a tiny airforce training base near by. But this base uses the same airstrip as a comercial airport. There are some small cities and some forests along the path.

We were sitting waching tv, when suddenly one of us cuaght a glimts of something moving in the sky. It moved so fast that in the split second it took for us to look that way it had allready moved out of sight. This thing moved across 2\3 of the entire sky in 2-3 seconds. The strange thing was that it had left a smoke trail, just like regular planes do when they fly at high altitudes, but this trail was zig zagging across the sky, and seemed to be arching upwards. I ran in to another room and got the binoculars.When i looked at this trail with the binoculars, I was awestruck! The bends were really sharp, at between 20 and 45 degrees. You could see no turning at all, it just sudenly went the other way. Another thing i thought was a little strange was that it seemed to go from allmost straight flying, maybe a little downwards, and arched upwards. It looked like it went extremely high up. You could see that as it got higher the trail got thinner and just faded away at the end. It looked like this thing had left the atmosphere.Within half an hour the trail got so blurry that we couldnt see many details any more.

I think the only conventional explanation could be some kind of comet or something skipping on the atmosphere and returning to space again. Maybe the shape of it combined with air resistance caused it to change direction , and thats why the smoke trail was zig zagging.

I think there are rational explinations for all of the sightings reported, but i dont believe in aliens. My wiev on this did not change after the sighting.

I would love to get some comments on this, bacause i dont know too much about how comets and other things could behave in the atmosphere, therefore i am very in doubt on what i saw. Is it possible for a rock flying really fast to do this? I would be greatefull if someone who have seen this before or know what this is would contact me!

They were four orange balls (stars). They would have appeared to be in a rectangular formation except that the upper right one was out too far.

I was in my bedroom listening to music with the lights off. I looked out the window and noticed the moon and four stars. I immediately knew something was strange about the stars. They were too big and much to orange. I had my camera on the table top. I quickly snap one shot and went back to my music. Awhile later, I looked back outside the window and to my surprise, the orange balls were much further west (on the tree line or horizon) then was the moon. I quickly grabbed my camera and proceeded to snap another picture. As soon as I clicked it and my eye still in the view finder, all four orange balls blew up simutaneously. Being that I was still looking through the camera, I proceeded to snap a series of photos. It basically looked like fireworks as the debris fell to the ground. Mind you, they still appeared to be like stars in the sky, so when they blew up there was no way I was even considering jumping in a car. I would not have known how far to travel.

I remember seeing the book, Communion and my first words that popped out of my mouth without thinking was, "if they do exist, that is exactly what they would look like." Someone said, "how would you know?" They were right, how would I know?

I investigated an anomally that at first I thought was just a clever lie or small town gossip. As the story goes it was a normall day a during the middle of the day(nooon). And as life in sonora continued as it would an other day of the week. But as the normality continued there was a UFO that seemed to pass across the sky with no seem to stop. This was witnessed by many kids at a nearby elementary school (soulsbyville elementery) and but an or officer/s of the law on duty at the time. the odd streak of light was then shortly followed by 2 low flying jets that seemed to follow the flight path of the ufo. I also spoke to a man who has extensive knowledge of the us military and jokinly told him the jet were f14 and he made it clear that that the jet that were launched if on that day,(which i will look more into if this even matters to anyone but myself and ALL those who actually witnessed this event that passed over a town.) had no record of launch publicly maybe that gov. might have even known. there are local army bases in the area and they run manuvers on a regular basis but never like people had seen that day. I myself have even seen them run there manuvers throught the canyons in yosemite but thats just me trying to rationalize the whole situation because most of all some of the witnesses are very close friends and I would like to think that they didn't see the ufo but they and others swear it and even some public announcement was made and possibly police awareness.

My friend and I was looking to the sky, seeing the clouds when we saw a cloud like an alien face in the sky (nobody believe that). Then I was talking with my friend and my other friend that stills looking to the sky said: -come on, look this!- I've look to the sky and I've saw three U.F.O.'s like it are fighting or some like this.

I've told it to my mom and she didn't believe, but later she saw it in the local news.

And my friend from other city saw it too.
