it was a boxy disk shape. it was definitely a disk, but square on the sides. it was more grey than black but seemed very dark against the clouds. although, there was somethng shiny about it in the sky-almost silver reflection in the sun's light. there definitly could have been "windows" on the side, bc i dont remember it being too solid

This may sound like i didn't see it very well but hear this:

When a normal person drives their car, their vision is straight ahead naturally. I really near look up when an airplane goes by bc it is a normal thing. honestly, i was coasting with little traffic around me in bright sunlit sky and partly cloudy (the clouds were few and fluffy and long) I was daydreaming about something else when a strangness in the sky jerked my head up to see this. i immediately got a weird feeling. the object moved unlike how a normal airplane moves. i couldnt take a picture bc my hands were on the wheel. i was in shock and stared into the sky with little attention to the road for the next 15 seconds. i slowed my car so that i could see the object. only one car was around me so i felt the freedom to really stare. The sun was so bright that day and the sky was aquamarine. I saw a grey disk object move toward me although it was comparative far away, i noticed it moved in my direction. then, it hoovered, im sure of that. then it swayed to the left, then swayed to the right, hovered five more seconds then swaye back to the left. it hoovered abit more and then did a nosedive (45 degrees) toward the ground. that movement made me think, "okay, so it must be a plane. just forget about it" that is why i dont know the date exactly bc i was trying to forget it. although days later i realized this:

i am sure it was not moving toward any airport as i pondered the direction of the dive it took

i know the city airport was behind my car as well as the next largest airport were both 20-40 miles behind me. also, i have traveled in a small plane before at the only private airport in town, traveling across the span of the city and was assured by the pilot it is the only private airport. it just so happens that that particular airport is to the direct right of the freeway i was on. the disk dove to the left front of my car. there is also a difference, that made it very believable, in the speed i first saw it go initially was unequal and then the speed it dove, (very fast-faster than an airplane)

no way. airplans cant hover or change direction like that. even if a man-made object was crashing to the ground, it would go straight down, not 45 degrees.in about 25 seconds it made significant speed. it was way way bigger than a bird and i saw it break out of the clouds specificly noticed the color against the perfect white clouds and clear blue sky.

i didnt really know if i believed in them. i think i saw something on tv once sometime...? but i think it is because of the fact that it jerked my head up from concentrated drive and daydeaming. i immediately, to my natural senses, noticed it was weird or unknown and got really big chills as i saw this occurance. although i did not know much about ufo's, i thought, "oh my gosh, am i really seeing a ufo right now?" and i found it hard to disbelieve during the next 20 seconds. also i tried to not believe by ignoring it, but my inner senses created natural worry and i thought about it much days later

The object was very dark shaped like an egg, excpt the center had colorful lights across the middle, like a belt. Yellow, blue, green and red lights glowing a different times. Before it took off something that looked like retractable wings emerged from it's sides. Then it flew away, in a circlar loop.

Wasn't very big. Was about the size from the to the back wall of the inside of a helicoptor.

Maybe 25 to 30 feet. I'm not good with measurements.

I was on my way to drop my rent at the owners house. Was at the top of a hill ideling in my car; when I noticed a very bright star in the sky. I said to myself, that's a bright star. The star then started to move very quicly, then I said out loud oh my god it's a falling star, oh maybe it's a metor. It's going to fall. Then a few seconds later it was atraight ahead about tewnty feet, loooming in the air above two very tall trees.

I was shocked! I looked around, I didn't see anybody walking or driving up the street; that I could bring their attention to it. The object (ship)didn't make any noise. It was very dark and there weren't any bright street lights in the area. I looked at it, then I started have this conversation out loud, like someone was talking to me (telephath) ; speaking to my mind. It was saying, get out of the car. Come over here and get out of the car.

Couriously, wasn't going to kill this cat. If I wasn't alone I probably, would have gotten out of the car. But I was too scared to move. I said to it out loud; oh hell no! I'm not getting out of this car. Who is going hell is going to believe my ass was abducted by aliens! I got too many problems as it is, not way, am I getting out of this car. I guess this conversation went on for a few minutes.

Then the object went straight up a about 10 feet or so, and some sort of retractable arms came out of the center area. Then and it went up in the air, moved sideways looped around in a circle, curved around the and in about 10 seconds it was gone. It was pretty amazining, to actually see something like that. It scared the shit out of me. But I know what I saw. I had not drugs or lalcohol in my body. Most of the people I told didn't believe me, So I wrote it down. But I'll never forget it.

No way! It fell down very fast from the sky and when it took off, it curved and looped dipped up in the air. Sorry no man made object can fly like that.

I always believed there was other intelligent life forms in the universe. This sighting confirmed it for me. I always wanted to see on first had and I believed I would see one in my life time. As big as the universe is, is man really that ignorant to believe that earth is the only place that has intelligent life? I haven't read much I watch things on TV.

I thought about calling Andrews Airforce base but I felt like they wouldn't believe me, and would even classfiy me as nuts. So I din't make the call. I told family and friends about it.

Appeard brown cigar shape - one line of orange port holes down the centre of the side. The small craft that appeared bright were more like lights in the sky looking almost circular. This I think was due to the distance and their smaller size, but as they moved away and back again they must have been quite substantial in size being clearly visible moving across the sky.

At 1000ft it must have been at least the length of 2/3 aircraft carriers.

Over Cheltenham town centre in an urban area. No special military or power plants but it is the centre of the government secret listening/intelligence gathering facility.

The craft was stationary in the sky for quite some time (30 minutes).

Although in the night sky, one could see it was brownish in colour with the orange coloured port holes. Just one line of portholes down the centre of the craft.

Around the cigar shaped large craft, small light coloured craft hovered. They could move from A to B in an instant. They did not have to accelerate, they just moved in an instant to another position miles away but still in view and then they would return near to the cigar shape.

We have talked in the family many times, but this web site has allowed me at the age of 60 to share the story with others for the first time.

We were in Gloucestershire, but sightings were recorded in Devon and other parts of the west country that evening, all describing the cigar shape and small craft that moved very fast.

I know what I and my family saw, but we have no rational explanation.

my partner worked as a care worker for sick people visiting homes in our local town, one man who was sick with cancer was talking to my partner and mentioned he used to paint landscapes by talking photos then painting them, mentioned that one photo he had taken contained three cigar shaped objects that were not there when he took the photos, my partner aware of my interest in ufos told me and i went to see them, now the photo contained one tree on a hill with three metallic silver objects side by side going at whatlooked to be a rapid pace, now no conventional planes would fly so close together and would not have the cigar shape that these appeared to have. I took photo copies of the picture which have been blown up to outline the shape of the objects, the painter died 6mths later so the original photos are gone but i still have the copies. The man was 100 per cent sure the objects were not there on taking the photo and only after developing them did the objects appear.

Black triangular objects with no markings, lights, reflections or familiar aircraft features (stabilizers, etc.).

At arms length, the objects appeared to be less than 2 inches across. The actual size appeared close to that of a private or fighter jet. The objects appeared to be equilateral triangles with less than 100 feet per side.

West Los Angeles (urban) just west of the intersection of Pico & Sawtelle Blvds close to Santa Monica airport.

In the summer of 2000, I was driving with my then girlfriend late one afternoon before sunset westbound on Pico Blvd. just west of Sawtelle Blvd.. While stopped at a traffic light, she pointed to something she saw in the sky which was almost directly over us. I had to lean forward to be able to see up through the windshield to observe 3 identical black triangular objects. I observed them for less than 30 seconds. The objects were motionless and we could not hear any noise from the objects. There were no markings, lights, reflections or familiar aircraft features (stabilizers, etc.), just a solid black object. The objects were in a loose triangle formation separated from each other by a distance of approximately 5 times their individual width. What struck me most was their stillness and almost silhouette-like appearance.

My impression is that the objects were the size of private jets or fighter planes. They were significantly higher in altitude that the normal Santa Monica airport traffic that occurs regularly in that area, enough so that a closed fist at arms length could have covered two of the objects (were they spaced tip to tip).

While observing them, I moved my head to change my viewing angle so as to verify that this was not caused by debris on the widshield or reflections. These were definitely airborne objects.

Once the traffic light changed to green, I resumed driving, but was unable to see the objects again since they were nearly directly overhead. Once we had driven a few blocks so that the objects should have been easier to view from a shallower angle, the sky was empty where thay had been.

Given the shape of the craft, their hovering behavior and sudden apparent disappearance, I assume that the objects were either undisclosed advanced aircraft or extraterrestrial craft.

I have a strong interest in UFOs, both before and after my sighting. I have read several books on the subject and seen several documentaries, as well as listened to the Coast to Coast radio program. I have found that this interest and the knowledge I have acquired has made me more of a skeptical observer than I was before since I am more aware of the conventional sighting explanations.

From my sister's description (she observed it firstly and in greater detail) it was a large inverted cone with an obtuse (flattened) triangular base - the top of it which bore the red lights moving from corners to apex and back again. I.e. an inverted trapezoid.

We were living in Crownhill which is a high up part of Plymouth overlooking a valley between residential estates and the naval base in view towards the west , the ufo seemed to be traversing from a south west to north west trajectory over the city.

It was my younger sister who alerted us (my mother and I) to come and view a large 4 sided trapezoid, like an inverted cone with a triangular rather than flat bottom. My sister saw more of it than I saying she saw lit up windows on it and it was apparently following a dash 7 commercial airplane on route to land at Plymouth airport.

By the time I and my mother came out to see it, it had moved over the other side of Whitleigh valley and seemed to have descended to a very low height, skimming over rooftops. I estimated its size to be about 100 -150 ft across. The top of it had two red lights which moved from the object's two top corners in sequence towards the apex of the upper point of the inverted cone and back down again to the corners. As it was night this was the only way it could now be tracked as the lit 'windows' were not observible. My mother and I watched this silently slow moving ufo traverse in a north-easterly direction until it faded from view. The local paper the next day reported that a couple of women in a car had also observed this object and attempted to follow it as far as they could in their vehicle. I believe it had also been observed flying over the local naval base which is a refitting yard for nuclear submarines. There have been numerous other sightings of ufo's around this dockyard area.

I was most impressed by the object's size and ability to float silently and so low over the Whitleigh and Crownhill estates apparently mere metres above the rooftops!

It was far too big and too quiet and too slow to be explained terrestrially and also too low to be an airship or balloon with those moving lights it was inexplicable .

I was open-minded, my grandfather had told me of a saucer-shaped sighting he made in Coventry during the 1950's, the experience was very enlightening unlike anything before and has changed my outlook on life. I was a sceptical enquirer before the encounter which turned me into a believer.

I make this report mainly because I have not come across many reports of ufo's which conform to this particular configuration. I mainly hear about saucer or disk - type or cigar shaped objects. Yet, this inverted trapezoid object which was so apparently huge seems totally extra-terrestrial and I hope that it stimulates others to report objects they may have observed no matter how outlandish and incomprehensible that they might have witnessed.

The object was triangular, kind burnt or rusted on the bottom. It had three lights one at each point. It also had one light on the bottom in the middle and it was pulssating red. The object also had some markings that to this day I still remmember. It had what to me looked like doors or hatches on the bottom. The object had about 4 to 5 antenas. This I can say because the object was at very low altitude.

Well, I was in the back of our house with our dog, sundenly he started getting highly upset about somthing. He got tangled up on my legs, I bent down to untangle him. When I came back up I saw this cloud in the sky. Mind you, it was 9pm. This was the only cloud in the sky. It was very thick, but I could make out three lights inside. At this time the dog got tangled up again, again I bent to untangle him. This time when I came up in place of the cloud there was this triangular object just hoverring there. It had three lights at each point, these lights pulsesated and chaged colors. From blue to white to puple to white to green to white and to blue again. This object made no noise. The only thing I remember is this low humming. This humming I felt in my chest and it spred out throughout my entire body. At the same time I started to feel pins and needles. I tried to move but could not. Suddenly my dog pulled on the chain and that broke that state of trance. As I turned around to run back to the house to let my family know, the object started to move. When we all came out of the house the object was gone.

about 1 am was sat in kitchen, seen a blue flashing light i thought it was an ambulance but it was too high in the air to be one.

stood up and seen what i knew 100% a ufo. i called to my friend and sister and they were both amazed,

my sister ran to the front door and i followed behind her,

i seen the side view and underneath the craft was four bright powerful lights.

the noise of the craft was tremendous, sounding like a hoovercraft.

it wasnt going fast, travelling at the speed of a car 30 mph.

we watched the craft dissappear into the fields, where we figured out there is a army base - lyneham raf.

the sky was very clear with stars, and i noticed a small cluster of stars

A strip of white light, just like a flourescent tube, which changed it's length as I watched it (thinking about it I have sometimes thought this could have been an oval disc viewed from side-on which was twisting on itself, thus appearing to get shorter as it twisted)

I was walking through my school when I glanced up at the sky and saw a bright strip of light (like a flourescent tube) in the sky. It was not moving, and was situated some miles away in a clear area of the sky, although I recall that there were a few clouds around. The strip of light was nowhere near any buildings or planes or anything, but out across open farm land.

As I watched it, it changed length, getting shorter and changing it's angle. After some minutes it started moving without accelerating ie it just shot (if that makes sense) into the sky, at the same angle that it had tilted to, about 15-20 degrees from horizontal and disappeared behind some clouds.

For the last few minutes of my observation I was joined by a school friend, and then (as the bell had gone for the end of what I think was 'morning playtime') a teacher, Mrs Hopkins I think it was, who wanted to know why we weren't in class. They both saw it too.

It was November couple years ago. I was working as a security guard. My partner and I had just started our 1st patrol. So it was about 1am. I was the driver and we were headed east bound. As I was talking to him, I noticed out of the corner of my eye a set of lights in the distance, about 15 miles. At first I thought it was a plane. But there were no blinking lights, and they were all the same colour (orange). At that time I stopped the truck to get a better look. My partner asked what I was doing. I told him to take look at the lights. We got off the vehicle and the lights were even closer and low to the ground. I looked at him and said "what the fuck is that!". He was dumb founded. By that time it was in the field next to the road we were on. I could see the triangular shape of it against the night sky and there was no sound at all coming from it. My partner jumped in the truck and yelled "lets go". I was just standing there and wanted to get a better look. So jumped in and started to try and follow it. But my partner was freaked out and yelling at me to stop. So I stopped and told him we may never have a chance like this again. I looked to see where it was, but it was gone. We kept our eyes open that night to see if it would appear again. The next day in the paper they had pictures from pilots in Mexico that had seen a UFO and they were taken that same night. The lights looked liked the same ones we seen.
