All I could distinguish was that it was a bluish-green light with almost what looked like a v shaped tail behind it--possibly a lit vapor trail. Could have been a meteor, but going horizontal???

Spotted a light moving horizontally across the Northern sky from west to east approximately 25-30 degrees up from the horizon just after dusk. It was moving 10-20 times faster than any plane I've ever seen move across the sky. I first noticed it when it was halfway across the sky from west to east, and it was gone in about 10-15 seconds. A plane would have taken a minute or more to go the same distance.

Interesting this was my wife saw it for the last few seconds and said it was the exact same thing she was explaining to me about a week earlier. She thought it was a slow falling meteor--she watched hers in the Southern sky but falling--not horizontal

I saw something in the sky about a year or so ago and thought you might be interested. I work in Master Control of a local TV station as a switcher and get off at midnight. The TV station is on the edge of town and I drive straight out into the country for the 22 mile trip home. My job is fairly intense so I am always alert when I leave. The road is usually devoid of cars on the backroads I travel, sometimes I don't pass a single one all the way, so there is little distraction. As I said, this happened about a year ago. I was about 4 to 6 miles north of Interstate 49 on Hwy 53. Just North of Gulfport Mississippi. The forest opens up on the left side of the road at one particular point and the tree line recedes to about a quarter mile away. There was no moon out that I remember and the sky was very dark. I was drinking coffee and listening to the radio way to loud as usual when I noticed a light out the drivers window going in the same direction as myself. When I gave it my full attention I was a little shocked. What I saw was a bright white luminous globe. Not a fractured light but luminous with defined edges. I have no size reference other than it appeared to be over the edge of the tree line a quarter mile away, maybe 2 times as high as the trees and was about the size of a marble which would make it very large as far as I can determine. I do remember it stood out very well and was easy to see. It was moving north, as I was, and was going maybe 2 or 3 times as fast as myself. Another thing is that there was a stormy turbulent white flame trailing behind. The flame was the same width as the globe and trailed behind about 4 times the objects width. It incident wasn't particularly long and maybe lasted 8 to 10 seconds before passing behind the trees where the pasture along the Hwy once again turned to forest. If I had been a few seconds earlier or later I would not have seen it pass. As I said we were on a fairly parallel course if only a quarter mile apart. I few more miles down the road I turned left to head toward home which would cut across the flight path. As I passed Approximately where I thought it would have crossed I passed a house on the side of the road with 3 or 4 people in their pajamas standing in their front yard all looking into the night sky. Mind you this is just after midnight. I considered stopping and conversing with them but it was late and I was ready to get home. I was encouraged by a family member to stop and talk with them but before I could get around to it Hurricane Katrina blew their house apart and I do not know where they have relocated. I sure this is a familiar story but thought you might like to have it for your records.

I became interested in college while taking astronomy and in as much as I learned about the distance and scope of the universe decided there has to be life out there but also came to the conclusion that the distances envolved were so great we would never meet and neighbors. My professr once held up a basketball in the front of the room and asked someone to hold up a tennis ball in the back of the room. He said if that was our relative distance from the sun the next nearest star would be in california. I went to school in North Carolina so I would have to say thats pretty far to travel.

i was looking out the window at the sky line and a white or silver oblong object came out of no where moving fast thats how it caught my eye ,it flew across the skyline stoped i moved closer to the window then it returned to where it came back into the trees a few mins later i saw a very quick flash headed straight up..

Orange / Amber colour light moving through sky and suddenly vanished away

We, I and my wife saw an amber/orange light moving in the sky, Yesterday 6th April 2006 while having a usual walk on our terrace. It vanished away as the cloud came in the middle of our sight. We were joint by our daughter later on. I was interested to know more about it. So, I search web I about recent happenings but found very little about it.

I have no idea of it But I think it can be a satellite or weather balloon also

lights that went from side to side very fast and then shot back up into the sky then came back down and past over us then shot up into the sky again.they were a white yellow green color that had no sound but were moving to fast to be a plane or helicopter.As i was sitting at a gas station i saw them. They looked like they were playing tag with one another and this went on for about 6-8 minutes.

These were ork like, in formation in most frames,were bright, and were yellow,red, and green.Once, they appeared with the multi colored lights.

I was watching a live webcam from my home in Maryland. IThe cam is located in Ocean City , Md and is house in the New Ocean Gallery. I went on approximately about 12:00 midnite. There was no people on the boardwalk or beach. Everything appeared normal. At approximately 12:09, April 06,2006, A series of orb like lights appeared in the sky, right to the right of the cam.These first were yellowish, there were 4 of these ,in sets of two,and orb like in structure..Then, they vanished, and there were several more that showed, and they were kind of in a line, and appeared to be doubled..side by side. There were about 18,,again in doubles, and it looked like anothe two or four, doubled to the side of this.Next, there were a series 12 yellow lights (doubled).Next, there were 18 doubled, red lights ..the yellows were not present, and it appeared there were more doubled red, next to these.I could not see those well, as they were out of camera range.Next, there were in a row,(boubled) a series of lights in formation(like a line) they were two red, two yellow, three green,and two sets of red.These looked to extend across the boardwalk towards the beach. I saved thenm to a picture file.I am in a room on msn, and entered the room and posted these on the board, along with the link to the cam.Some others got a few captures too. Most that seen these said they could not figure out what could possibly be casuing them.We all thought this may be UFO related.Therefore, I am reporting these to you.

I believe they exist.I have never seen anyhting like this in my life,personally.I have seen pictures of them.I guess I know as much as the average person. I am no expert, but I know enough to believe that what I have seen is not normal.

These lights were strange.There was alot of formation, and color change.I can't imagine, even if these were causde by some kind of lights on a display, how they could project themselves like this.Plus, on the day cam, there appeared to be nothing visible that would have been able to substantiate these.

As a plane flew over my house;very low at 11:45 am, what I thought to be a reflectiono on the tail of the plane was an object,that separated from the plane and flew about ten feet off the ground in front of my window in astraight line slowly,for about 20ft then ascended up and over the trees as it picked up speed. It was blinking; as if to a beat,and it was red. I called to my friend in the other room to come and look at thid; because if I left the window I may have missed this. He believed in UFOS; I did not ; so much.

I was driving with my girlfriend toward will rogers airport when we both noticed 3 planes in the sky within a 1 mile radius. this struck me as odd because planes just do not fly that closely and two of them appeared rather bright. We stopped to watch them hoping for something strange and boy did it deliver. One of the "planes" continued on like a normal aircraft, however the other two stayed and hovered for around 2 minutes in the same spot. After about 2 minutes one started to get brighter and brighter as the other slowly flew off and got dimmer, the one that stayed hovered and got brighter over the next 2 minutes until the impossible happened, another smaller craft "fell" out of it and flew alongside it. The one who did the dropping then began to lower and continually did so until it dissapeared amongst the horizon, the second however continued to get brighter over about another 2 minute span just as the first did, after it got bright enought to completely erase doubts of it being anything i had ever seen it also began to lower unto the horizon like the second craft did and then dissapeared.

they were out towards an airport so possibly... however like i said i saw a plane take off while they were hovering and one landed less than a minute after the third one dropped out of my site. I know plane safety and air traffic laws do not allow for such carelessness so unless it was an experiment for tinker air force base they were not from around here.

I was looking out my den window at the sky around 4 pm, I was saying a prayer to GOD about someone I missed that had passed on recently. I had a picture of them in my hand. The sky was very clear that day, not one cloud that you could see, no wind, a perfect sunny Dec day.

Out of nowhere, this HUGE silver-grey, metalic,Dazzling bright object just appeared. It startled me, at first the only thing I could think of was, 'What in the world is that"???? and where did it come from, had GOD sent an angel to comfort me,the brightness was so captivating. We have alot of planes fly over sometimes, but they come from one side or the other, not just appear, and they don't come down that far and just hover there. I could not take my eyes off of the object. I thought it was just so beautiful and I wondered what in the world it was and where did it come from that suddenly. I thought how i wished that someone else were with me to see that.

It made no noice, it left no trails of white, i saw no lights, it just seemed suspended in the sky, I was to amazed to see it to even think of getting my camera and was afraid if i moved it would disappear. It just hovered there for a few minutes, i watched it and kept thinking, "Don't go until I figure out what you are" for I was a skeptic about UFO's, then verrrrry slowly, it started to move, it went a little way over, then just poofed. Gone, in a split second in a cloudless sky.

I called some of my family members as soon as it disappeared, and told them what I just seen. They didn't know what to think either. I have never seen any thing like it in all my life.

BEFORE: didnot really believe in UFO's AFTER: Now, i don't know what to think, i never expected to see anything like that I had read about them in books and saw some History channel programs on them. Some friends on the internet told me things they had saw or experienced concerning UFO's in their lifetime, but until i saw that object for myself, I was very skeptical about anything like that.

I wish I had had a camera or camcorder near me, or someone else with me so they could have witnessed it too. I had never told anyone before that i had ever seen a UFO.

I do live close to Luke air-force base and i have seen the shows on discussing the weather ballons on those triangles over arizona, but these diddent fall or hover. They blinked then stopped and appeared further away then returned.
