The lights were white in color although not very bright...kind of dimmed. But that might have been from the haze in the sky. They looked round.

If I held my arms out I think my fingers would've been between 1/2 and 1 inch across...maybe less.

Description of Area / Surroundings

It was in an urban area, just south of a larger city (35,000). There is a papermill to the Northwest (about 1/2 mile) and a power plant to the Southwest (about 3 miles). We also have a skihill to the Northwest (about 4 miles) and they are doing road construction to the Northwest/West of us (4 miles). The lights, however, were right above my house and we live right in the middle of a small village. The area I live in has a lot of trees and is hilly.

During the early morning hours of March 5th (I think) I looked outside my living room window to see if the snow, that we were supposed to get, had started falling. The sky was partly cloudy and hazy. I could see some stars. Something caught my eye in the sky. It was a round light that was going around in a large circle. I decided to wake my husband up to see if he saw it too. He did. I then went outside and directly to the North of the first light were four other lights...all going around in a circle, though a much smaller circle than the first one, and meeting in the middle. If their path would've stayed lit it would've looked like a four leaf clover. When the lights got to the middle area they sped up a bit. I stood outside for a while watching the lights and then went back inside. It was about 2 or 3 in the morning.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I'm not too sure. My hubby suggested that it could've been from the road construction they were doing on the highway. I had worked for the Sheriff's Department a while ago and I thought that maybe we had a new business opening in the area since I remember taking lots of calls of "strange lights" in the sky. The new business was using spotlights for their grand opening. We haven't had any new businesses open in our area. Also, there wasn't any light coming from the ground up to the object, like a light stream. It was just the light.

I have always been open to the idea of UFO's, although I have never experienced anything. I have watched a lot of shows, on TLC and other channels like that, and thought it could be a possibility. I'm still open to the idea that the lights I saw might have been from a UFO....I'm just not sure. It was really wierd!

Yellow Gold bright color, oval hamburger shape with somewhat like a bump in the middle. I assume when it viewed very closely, the object will be so much bright as I spotted far up in the sky still it looked bright.

The area is a rural area, crowded area with houses and maximum 6 to 10 levels of buildings and busy streets. There are few towers of power/electricities around.

Sometime in a late afternoon (sunset), I sighted a very clear bright object on the sky flying very slowly to the east. Approximately 4 minutes I viewed the object until it flew behind a high rise building. The sky is almost dark which therefore made the object vividly spotted. Definitely not a zeppelin balloon or airplane which has wings. Usually when we spotted an object in a sky, it always appear dark/black color. Yet, this is a thing that I have never seen in my life before. I can see the object as it was not flew far above me, approximately 500meters away or at least still clear to be seen by a naked eye.

The object shaped like almost a flat hamburger a bulge in the middle. It was yellowish bright gold or it seems there was a bright light making it shone. The light seemed like coming from inside the object and it seemed there was little windows on its wall.

I followed the object slowly flew until I couldn't follow it as it flew away behind a building.

While viewed this object flew, I captured it by my handphone camera and video Nokia 6600. I know it's not very clear as it is a very low resolution. But I think you can still see the shape of the object and how fast it flew.

A typical plane is very common to spot as well as Zeppelin ballon. There was never any weather balloons fly over Jakarta sky, hardly ever. This would be an advanced object as it has very bright lights coming from it.

It was black, with 4 big lights on the the top and the bottom; symettrically. Try to imagine an upside-down "T" with a light at every corner and edge. And on the bottom there was what appeared to be a red-light circling the perimeter. But unlike the white lights that was only on the bottom.

If I held my hand up to it -- probably 1 inch. If I were to give a size estimate: 5 feet thick and 100 ft long; in a triangle.

It was right by my 70's looking Middle school. And that is by train tracks and the small downtown part of Hinsdale. But it is by Chicago (Chicago is 5 miles away).

I was coming out of the school from my grade's Art Show. I began to walk up the steps and look at the stars. There were a stars. The Big Dipper was out too! I am looking up. First I think it is an airplane, because the lights are in sort of the formation like: one on talk, ends of both wings, and in front. But this was different. There was this weird red light going around the perimeter of what looked like an isoceles (the tall one) triangle. I heard a sound, like an airplane, but this was coming from another airplane. Then I compared the two. Definitely NOT an airplane. So it was a silent triangle with a "disco-like" light circling the blinking as it went around the perimiter; fairly quickly. I watched as it turned straight an I saw the back of it. It was extremely thin. I also saw two lights on the back of it. I could still see the red light circling the perimter. Now that I saw the top a little I realized that there was no red light on top; although the white lights were on the top also. But no red lights. Then it went behind some trees and my Mom drove me home.

Maybe an airplane, but airplanes don't have circling red lights that never stop. And airplanes make a sound unlike this object.

Well I have always read about the "Black Triangle". I also watch UFO Files on the history channel. I am firm believer. I also have (3 times) seen a giant green light surrounded by lots of red lights. This I have always assumed to be the "Venus Lights".

The object was not large but had mass. It was intelligently controlled and in very close proximity to myself and my friend. It had a variable green light that would grow dim and change to bright. It weaved perfectly through all kinds of pine trees and maintained an altitude of 50-75 feet.

The area was forest like. There were many trees and a train track that had long since ceased operation.

The craft was always changing in lighting intesity as we saw it. It started as dim green and got brighter as we observed it. It was very close by as evidenced by the trees outlined behind it. It moved towards us and seemed to be under intelligent control as it came up the tracks and started to weave in and out of the trees. We got the distinct impression that it knew we were watching it and so it reacted to us. It was clearly moving in a way that we could be sure that we were the object of it's interest.

For this object to be an RC type craft seemed very unlikely as the trees would have done it in. As it hovered and slowly moved closer we could see that there was more to it than just a light. It had mass. How much mass is hard to tell but perhaps the mass of some sort of probe. There was no sound at all.

At that point my friend started to get scared and wanted to leave. Strangely, I wanted to go towards it for a better look and felt very little fear.

After thinking about this over the years, I remember that somehow, I knew we would see something that night. I knew just where to go, but I don't know why. As a matter of fact, I was quite obsessed with looking for UFO's for reasons I cannot really explain.

There it was, right in front of us.

The good thing is that Jim and I have each other to confirm that yes we saw this UFO together and nobody can take that away from us, and to this day we cannot explain it as a plane, some gaseous phenomenon, a helocopter, or an RC craft.

The object was too close and too low to be a plane or any conventional object. There were no houses near there at the time, and no other poeple. In the last few years the tracks have been converted to a bike path.

We live in a solar system. It is one solar system in a galaxy that is approximately 30 light years from edge to edge containing counless solar systems. Our galaxy is one galaxy amongst an infinite number of galaxies residing in and infinite universe. The theory of large numbers tells us more than the fact that we are not alone, but instead tells us that we cannot be alone in the universe. Are we being visited by UFO's? Our government should know by now so ask them. Don't expect a straight answer either. As for me, well I saw something I cannot explain and I had a witness.

Our house is on the west side. we were outside having a cigarette before leaving for work. For reasons we have yet to figure out., we looked up and saw this very low, very quiet triangular object flying over the house. It was huge and too low to be an airplane. It seemed to go too slow for such a huge object. It was so quiet, we knew it was no airplane we had ever seen or heard of. I could not tell how high it was because I had no reference for it's size, but based on how clearly I could see the bottom of the ship, it seemed it was about a couple hundred feet off the ground and so then seemed about 50 to 60 feet from wing tip to wing tip, and about 10 feet from the nose to the back, getting slightly narrower from the center to the wing tips. Like a huge boomerang flying in the direction of the nose, or center point of the boomerang. I only saw the bottom so I could not tell the height from bottom to top, but seemed relative to the dimensions of a huge, thicker than normal boomerang.

But based on how clearly I could see the bottom of the ship, it seemed it was about a couple hundred feet off the ground and so then seemed about 40 to 50 feet from wing tip to wing tip, and about 10 feet from the nose to the back, getting slightly narrower from the center to the wing tips. Like a huge boomerang flying in the direction of the nose, or center point of the boomerang. If I stretched out my arms it would fit in about 3 or 4 inched betweed my hands.

I'm reporting this now becuase I've read a previous report of a similar UFO sighted in Gainesville a few years ago and now just read the sighting of a very similar UFO seen in Ocala, which is about 30 min south of where I saw this UFO. I was walking to my home from my car after work, about 11:15pm. I was looking up at the sky since it was a clear night and almost full moon. I noticed a plane high in the distance over me, and suddenly something went inbetween me and the plane covering it for a few seconds. It was a ship that was kind of v-shaped, more like a boomerang. It was flying very low and very slow. No sound and no lights. It was so low I could see detail on the bottom of the ship, however there was almost nothing to see, it was smooth, dull light greyish, no openings, seemed metallic. It was almost completly blended in with the sky. If it wasn't because it crossed directly in my sight line while I was looking at the plane, I don't think I ever would have noticed it. I watched it move from north, north west to south, south east. I stared at it for about 1 minute. It was moving in the direction of the moon so I started to think as soon as it gets close to the moons light I will see it very clearly. It then veared off to the west and continued north and did not pass between me and the moonlight. It seemed as if it was aware it could be seen if it conituned moving straight. Hard to explain, it was like I had a feeling it noticed me looking at it. It conitnued on until I could not see it any more.

Definitely not a planet or stars. As for whether it was man made or not, well I don't know. If it is man made, it is not public information or technology. Judging from the feeling I got when I thought I could see it better in the moonlight and it then veared off to not get in the moonlight, I would guess it was not man made.

I've always been interested in UFOs and it is almost routine for me to look up when I'm outside. I have a very good understaning and knowledge base about UFOs. This sighting was my 1st and I guess I was not as excited as I thought I would have been. Not to say I wasn't excited, but I was a lot calmer than I would have guessed.

The interesting thing is that I have read of 2 other sightings describing the same craft, traveling in the same area in the same direction between a period of 4 years.

- The most outstanding feature(s) that I remember were the three sets of three amber lights. Each set of three lights was arranged in a small (equilateral, I think) triangle and the three sets were arranged relative to each other in a large (equilateral, I think) triangle the entire size of the object. - Thinking back, it is difficult to remember whether there was color or relief to the body of the object because the amber lights were so striking. I have a vague recollection (upon which I have less confidence than in my memory of the lights) of grey relief/structure to the object almost like that of a movie spaceship.

Relative: one forearm Absolute - difficult to judge. I think it was bigger than a baseball diamond. Perhaps 4-5 times bigger.

It was unlike any object that I have seen or heard about before or since (with the exception of some objects I've checked out on this website. [ex - phoenix lights drawings have some similarity to what I saw but are not the same.])

I believe that an ad in one of these (SDN?), asking for the other people who were at the concert in the park when the friggin' mothership flew overhead, might very well turn up credible witnesses.

Very bright, highly polished metallic outer skin. The outer rim was not sharp, the center was about 14' thick. The bottom had three sections that were triangular shaded areas that looked like honeycomb. Each of these sections were about 7' on each side.

I was asleep, then awakened by an electrical, scratchy buzzing sound in my ears. I sat upright in my bed, the sound got louder and louder, white flashes of light, too bright to imagine were flashing in my head, my eyes were closed. The sounds and light centralized within my brain,brighter, louder and then there was an explosion of light with a boom, and feeling as if a stick of dynamite exploded within my head. I was 28 years old, it was over, I looked down to see my wife asleep as if nothing happened. I had a severe headache immediately, but managed to fall asleep sometime later.

The next thing I knew I was in my front yard, I had just built a house in the center of 4 acres, several hundred feet from the road. The craft was round, shiny and bright. A hatch opened

that formed a ramp down to the ground. The alien was a male human, long blond hair and very mild mannered, his name was Alan or Adam, I can't remember. There was a female with dark hair, but I didn't talk to her. He asked me if I would like to go for a ride, and I agreed. I could remember seeing my house from above, then all the houses in the area, then the blackness of space. Before I knew it we had returned. It felt strange to know how things looked from above because at that time I had never flown.

He explained the propulsion to me and showed me the two engines. They looked something like snails on their sides. they were about 8 feet in diameter and 3' tall. Each outward spiral was narrower then the preceding one. In the center was a generator, I believe that it was an ion generator. The flow of released energy spun outward and was compressed by the sprials where speed and pressure was increased. At the end of the spiral network the outlet manifold turned upward and rearward and connected to a propulsion plate. The plates were about 4' tall and 9' wide. These plates attracted the matter stream, collected energy, and in the center the polarity changed and created outward thrust. This is most of what I remember. I awakened and the entire propulsion system seemed as easy to comprehend as a slingshot would be to build.

I began to draw diagrams and details of the generators operation, plate construction and the connecting manifold. Is I worked, the thing got more and more difficult to understand. I finally gave up on it. I would have thought no more of it, except I saw a documentary on some show like the discovery channel about 10 years ago. The show was about a doctor in one of the western states that had a similar experience. They showed the engines that he was trying to build and they loked exactly like what I saw. The doctor had died at the time of the airing of the documentary and his assistant was trying to complete the engines from the notes left by the doctor.

I was wondering if there have been any other similar stories that you have heard of. I have considered of getting hypnotized to see if there was anything that could be recalled.

I went into my bed and looked outside and thought it was a plane since I live in a high traffic area for flights. However, as I watched what could have been a star or helicopter I realized that this was not a regular object. I thought it might be a star but I live in the city of Pittsburgh in a residential neighborhood with a baseball field and street lights... the only stars visible were a clear blue color. This object appeared stationary for 1/2 an hour and as the night went on and reached about 6 AM it started moving Eastward and upward in a very slow motion. The object had a red spotlight and at times would turn off and on and also omitt a light green or white light from outside of the brightness. The object reminded me of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon's Album Cover (PS: I don't listen to that music and I was straight and sober as always when I saw this object).The size from my viewing position was very small (perhaps the size of a pea).
