like an almond shape like a sideways rain drop aluminum type shiny silve light bounced off a lot , very bright, didnt have a tail of gas like a plane , made zero sound, and was moving not like a balloon, but like a plane , fast and moving in a straight line.

it was quite far away so if i held my hand out it probably only would have been about 1cm , but i could tell that this thing was big . probably about the size of a big passenger plane.

we do have an air port in the area but if it were a plane it wouldnt be from our airport because our airport has only small like single to 10 passenger planes. the are i live in is like both rural and bigger city but im not sure which part it was flying over. plus i dont know how long it was flying before a saw it.

me and my buddy were paying one sunny afternoon outside at recess in like third or fourth grade. When something caught my attention in the sky. i mean the sun is friken bright i knew that it was there but this thing totally was bright. it caught my eye eaisier than the sun did. i watched it for a few seconds. i yelled to my buddy hey come over here! look at this!i pointed to the sky. i kind of pointed in the direction of the school but at the sky above it. i said, to my buddy, are you thinkin what im thinkin? and as a usual third or fourth grader would respond he said huh? i said , you dummy in the sky, the silver thing! he said oh... what is it? i said dont you think its a UFO? - i had and still do greatly beleieve in these things and i was real into them as a younger child , and still am as a matter of fact. the object slowly , well it was obviosly moving fast but just like when you look at a plane in the sky, they seem to be moving slow. we both watched the object for about 15 seconds then he ran off to play he was more immature than i so he didnt really understand the value of the whole thing. i yelled to him to come back, but whatever. i continued to watch it for about 15 more seconds but then it seemed to go behind a cloud. i never saw it again i never came out of the other side of the cloud. thats it. since then ive only spoken of this incident to a few people, my mom ,dad and maybe a couple of friends who didnt really care.

My story-In 2002January 4,I purchased the text SpaceCraft,by Cowley.This followed the 9-11 event by a few months.In the text,there is the drawing of spacecraft flying above clouds,with one of them apparently having destroyed a tower top by having fired at it.I had seen the same text for sale in the later 1970's when it was published.(1978 publishing)The text was new,in a new book store.The store was in the old Crown Point (Lake County Seat)court house which had been refurbished as a type of small shop mall.i had looked thru it,but didn't buy it.When I saw it again(and/or acopy of the same text)it was while looking thru books now in an antique store directly across the street from the court house,in the year 2002.The Old Town Square Antique Mall.Previously a Ben Franklin five and dime.Reading thru the Spacecraft text,I ran across the item about waltzing mech-tech's in an orbiting maintenance vehicle.Robot repair (device?)apparently sufficiently mobile enough to mimic the human act.(human-like enough to differentiate and likewise respond to some stray transient purely musical signal in rhytmic fashion)Now,back to the middle 1970's-During an Octoberfest in 1976-77 or so,I saw two boys between the ages of 4 to 6 years dancing with one another-There was a phonograph placed on a parked semi-trailer flatbed-The trailer was alongside the antique store where I bought the SpaceCraft text in 2002.Since i bought the text,in 2002,i have been pondering the possible source of a good many stories.At this point I will conjecture the existance of an orbital derelict somewhere in our Solar system still emitting data signals after(centuries-4 or 5 milleniums-as Dogon and Sirius?) (movie Sphere suggests 300 or so years for what could be also derelict as a landing shuttle submerged)I ran across a Titan animation-The Drej-The internal structure of a depicted vehicle is virtually identical to the lower internal support structure of the now fallen Kinzua Viaduct in Pennsylvania,an old railroad bridge.Concept here-astro vehicle radar scan matched strucural form of a flying vehicle to an existing railway strucure componant.The material steel and iron mass density of rail equipment is in the realm of the heaviest on the planet per cubic measure of space occupied,and in spite of some trains now approaching 200 miles per hour for passenger service,they are not aeronautical at all,tho aerodynamic.The high speed of such a train,tho,could be deceptive as to whether it was part of some flight system,and be misconcieved by a vehicular electronic system depended upon to handle possibly too many contingencies for an automaton to deal with.My point is that of a possible long ago accident occuring between two system automatons,both becoming equivalent victims of said interaction,and both still today,planet and visitors working to rebuild their own systems in a very loose form of co-operation,almost in itself,automatonic.I t seems,that when system contact occured,that trains on the planet would match their automaton throttles to thousands of miles per hour registered thru the approaching astro vessel vehicle settings,but the throttles would lock up at full and stay there due tothe extreme over measure,and all trains might then run at maximum speed.You then have complete planetaryrail disaster.The astro vehicles,in turn,would have their guidance controlled by Central Train Control.They could not exceed a couple hundred miles per hour,and would follow a perfectly straight line as if on a railroad track,since that is all the steering a train has.They would suddenly veer in some direction when an automatic rail switch would throw for a siding or any change.All of this would be due to some componant in each of the two systems automaton vehicle control systems matching frequencies identically in that one particular mode,whatever it may be.rail-air---ai--ai--(as AI--Artificial Intelligence ?)Trains are Snakes-(serpents,if you wish)Planes are Birds-SAucers-Avians,etc.-Snake-the subway at the bottom of the Twin Towers-The Bird,the planes---ALL of that, a recycling thru the derelict orbital automaton of the above lof ong ago disaster--(note--NASA gives some satellites a potential life time of up to 900 years)(operating lifetime) That may be much longer presently,I would have to check-Conclusion-unfortunate debacle-maybe humans became too human and forgot they were traveling compliments of any animal? Thru the middle to late 1950's,I had seen three different flying wings fly over the farm-The first;polished aluminum-later,virtually black-coincidental flight path-somewhat rare craft-(note-landing lights from planes preparing to approach O'hare 60 miles away produce a visual illusion of a hovering group of brightly lighted objects-due to direction of approach and speed-distance-I think many people have been fooled by that-at least I have-but,who knows?

If there are occasional visitors,it could be that they have been searching for a lost vessel or fleet-Others having left a world to pass this way,maybe thousands of years ago,would have left a civilization behind-Anyone from that world at present would need to search for their own antiquity-there may only be some remnant trace of such an event,and they are not sure of how to approach the situation here-we have a lot of preserved antiquity of our own-(over 100 year old steam engines and railroad items)and I have had to reverse engineer my thinking to thoroughly understandind that machinery-it can be like living in your own Earthly time warp-

NO PERCEPTION OF ANY NOISE ONLY A VERY SMALL HASH BUT I THINK IT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS CUTTING THRU THE AIR

THE SPEED WAS VERY LOW, I COULD ACTUALLY WALK FOLLING ITS TRAYECTORY FOR ABOUT 10 TO 15 SECONDS UNTIL IT GOT OUT OF SIGHT OVER THE ROOF OF THE HOUSES.

COUPLE DAYS PRIOR TO THIS SIGHTING I WAS ABLE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF SOMETHING VERY SHINNY OVER THE HORIZON OF A CITY NAMED "ANTIGUA GUATEMALA" WHICH IS ABOUT 40 MILES FROM GUATEMALA CITY. THE TIME WAS AROND 11:00 AM. THE OBJET WAS FAR AWAY AND LOOKS TO ME THAT IT WAS HEADING TOWARD THE NEAR BY VOLCANO.

THEN AN HOUR LATER I TOOK ANOTHER PICTURE OF THE SAME OBJET LYING IN ANGLE OVER A VOLCANO LOCATED IN THE SAME CITY THAT I WAS VISITING, THIS TIME THE OBJET LOOK LIKE A CIGAR SHAPE AND BECAUSE IT WAS VERY CLOSED TO THE VOLCANO HILL I WAS ABLE TO COMPARE IT ON ITS SIZE AND IT WAS A HUGE FOR ITS PLACEMENT AGAINST THE VOLCANO HILLS.

THE OBJET WAS HIDDING INSIDE THE CLOUDS CLOSE TO THE VOLCANO BUT VISIBLE ENOUGH TO ME TO TAKE THE PICTURE.

While working in my back yard with my 7 year old son, at 10:50 am on Sat 03/11/06 we heard the calls of hawks. We stopped to look up for the hawks who were circling overhead, when I spotted a dull white fuzz y object traveling to the south east. My son was alerted to the sight and he aquired it also. The obect flew in a straight line then made a 45 degree turn to the North north east. This lasted for less than 6 seconds then resumed a south east course. Then the object traveled straight for 3-4 seconds and completed a 360 degree circle the disappeared heading down towards the chesapeake bay. The object resembled a cotton ball, no con trails were seen and no military aircraft were seen in the area. There were light civilian aircraft flying but at low altitude. ( 500 to 1500 feet). The weather was clear and warm 62 degrees, lite winds.

From my angle on the ground it looked completely spherical, it was a silver colour similar to Chrome in its brightness. However it was very hard to discern as it "blended" in very easily with the blue sky. As I watched it I am sure it partially disappeared as it became the same blue colour as the sky (In the same way a chameleon changes skin colour to match its background) and then it either entered the clouds or was obscured by them. After a few moments the thin layer of cloud broke and I was just able to see the object on the other side, where it seemed to hover - becoming slightly more silvver and metallic - before changing direction uttely. It was at this point I was distracted by another passer by.

It was very high - imagining it between finger and thumb it would be approx an inch (2.5cm) across. Its height made actual size very difficult to judge (especially as I am no pilot, or other "trained" observer) however I would dare to say it would be approx. 15 - 20 feet wide, as a spherical shape i would say all of its dimensions would fit this category.

The local area is very Urban (some parts of Chingford border upon Epping Forest) but I work and indeed live in a very Urbanized area. The only features in the area are the A406 (a ring road similar to the M25 motorway surrounding London) and a Power plant that uses local refuse for its power source. There are also reservoirs near by, as well as Epping Forest some 60 - 80 minutes away by foot.

I work in Chingford, a suburb of London, and anyone familiar with this area will know it is a very urbanised area indeed. I always walk to work, as it is about 15 - 20 minutes from my home, and often look up at the sky on my walk as it is quite relaxing seeing the clouds and birds passing overhead. On the morning in question I hardly looked up at all, until around ten minutes or so from work I happened to glance up at a low flying aircraft (conventional passenger jet heading to Heathrow or City Airport for landing). However I also noticed at this time an odd shape in the sky. It was a cloudy day, and the object was soon obscured. It looked to be round and very metallic, a bright silver or "chrome" effect.

As I continued to look up (whilst also avoiding falling over as I walked!) I saw the object again. Immediately I was stuck by the thought that it was some sort of Helium balloon lost by a child. Then I realised that it was travelling in a direction opposite to the clouds direction (The clouds were heading East, more or less, so it was more or less moving West). This I thought was very odd indeed. Also, the object seemed to hover for a moment, before moving off in a direction more Southerly. I then lost the object from sight as I was destracted by someone asking for a light for their cigarette! All in all this took about 3 minutes from point of sighting to losing visual.

Firends have told me that you can see satelites, but can you see them at 9.35am when the sun is up? I thought it may be a lost Helium filled balloon, but its direction of travel seemed opposite to what I believed they would be able to do.

I have never used any Hallucination type Drugs, so I know it was not some sort of side effect. I am a rational person, and like to know the order of things... this was just extraordainary.

I am not a UFO expert! I have read many things and seen many documentries, but do not consider myself either a believer or a sceptic - I would like to think there is "something" out there (the size of the Universe suggests there SHOULD be something out there) but I am not easily swayed into thinking everything in the sky is a UFO.

I am sure of what I have seen, I do not know what it was but am open to possibilities. I doubt however that it was a Satelite as I have never thought they were able to be seen in daylight. It was not a "Blimp" type object nor was it a misidentified plane - it had no wings! If it was not a Helium filled balloon then I do not know what it was.

As I was standing in the middle of the road looking at the pre-dawn sky of brilliant stars and Polaris, I noticed what seemed like a fireball low in the trees north along the road. There were huge flames all about the object and suddenly it veered to my right and rapidly gained altitude to about 22 Degrees above the horizon. (Polaris is about 45 Degrees altitude) The flames went out and I was looking at this object broadside. It was clearly delineated twice as high as its width. I could see its thickness (about 1/2 its width) as well as the top was angled about 15 degrees to the right. An extremely bright ablation tail formed from each of the four visible edges and formed smooth curves top and bottom (like a scimitar blade) joining some distance back. This tail became so bright the sky turned briefly to blue then faded to black once again with the brilliant stars in the background. I could see brown smoke trailing in the bright yellow -orange light . The object was clearly visible by an orange glowing rectangular seam at its middle and at all of its edges. There were a few orange sparks from the top and leading edges. 3 to 4 four seconds later and perhaps at a bearing 45 Deg. NE. Altitude still at about 22 Deg. It disappeared into the night sky except for a faint wisp of trailing smoke.

The road was lined with alpine firs and tent camp sites were to my right . The camp site of my friends and my self was to my right about 40 ft . The lake shore about 100 ft. The four of us were heading out on a roped accent of the Mt. Washington spire early this morning at sunrise. My friends were asleep and did not witness any of this and I did not say anything to them as I did not want to "spook" our day and some tricky climbing later on.

This is not the usual UFO case as you can see. But, there are very puzzling aspects regarding this sighting. First is I have difficulty justifying my ability to see an object possible as distant as the space station for example. If I assume 3/8th at 24in (arm length) and taking the sighting angle of 22 +,- Deg vertical angle the size of this object boggles the mind. A minimum a 2500 feet in length and more likely more than a mile in length. OR, the object dipped to perhaps just ten miles altitude above ground. Why didn't it burn up? The shape was maintained thru out its visibility. I estimate it to be traveling at near the escape velocity of earh, or 25,000 mph. It appears to be free falling and deflected to my right after approaching at a very low angle to the earth. Then perhaps headed either into earth orbit, or back into space. With only one witness, determining which would be additional conjecture.

I hope this will describe in a clearer fashion what it was I observed.

The size determination is critical to ascertain if manmade or not. AT first I thought perhaps this was a spent rocket casing or of that nature. But, it's shape cleary ruled this out . I know of no technology that could have constructed something is possibly a mile in length and half a mile wide and probably an 1/8th of a mile thick. Or this could have been much closer to earth - maybe 20 miles high but the angle altitude was about 22 Deg

I have read a lot over the years regarding UFO's including J. Allen Hyneck's Close Encounters of The Third Kind. and others I am curious but somewhat skeptical. The best witnesses have always been very creditable and responsible types.
