Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It looked like a round ball of fire.....a burnt orange color. It was bright and very noticeable over the radio tower. But not like a brightness that lit up the whole sky or anything. It was circular, but not like a perfect circle. the edges seemed irregular, i guess thats why i say it was like a ball of fire. I remember distinctly how blue the sky was behind the orange ball. And how there was no reflection from the sun or some kind of electrical fire on the radio tower.

Ok, its been 22 years but I believe the relative size, between my hands was 15 to 18 inches apart. For the actual size, the ball was at least as wide or wider than the radio tower. I'm guesstimating that it was 50-60 ft tall.....one big circle.

This is mainly a residential area, with some shops/restaurants/gas station/school at this intersection. But on this northeast corner, there is this solitary tower. I've always called it a radio tower.

I was with a girlfriend heading over to pick up friends for dinner. We drove down Somerset

Drive west to Mission Road. This is a busy area and road, with lots of traffic, businesses, and residential areas. On the northeast corner of this intersection is one of those large, tall radio towers. I remember the very blue sky overhead, no clouds and the sun was going down, but it was still light out.

For whatever reason, I looked up at the radio tower and noticed a round orange light above the tower. It was a large object, big enough where i could see it clearly from the street all the way above the tall tower. The orange color was like a burnt orange color...that has always stuck in my mind. I distinctly remember turning and looking towards the west towards the sun to see if it was shining off the tower or something like that. It wasn't shining that bright since it was low on the horizon. Both of us kept looking at the orange ball, both of us commenting that it wasn't moving, that it looked like it was just 10 feet above the tower. And we both agreed the sun wasn't shining and making a reflection of some sort.

We pulled over to the side of the road and kept watching and wondering what in the world is that? I thought maybe its a fire or something coming from the radio tower, but it just wasn't that.

We were running real late to pick up our friends for dinner so we had to move on, but we kept our eyes on the orange ball as we headed to the street where our friends lived...a couple blocks away. I could still see the orange ball thru the trees but as we got to our friends house we couldn't see it anymore due to the many tall trees lining the streets.

We rushed our friends from the house and I sped back over to the tower within a few minutes. We both excitedly talked of what we saw, but as we got there the orange ball was completely gone. It was bizarre. I have spent ...what...22 years now wondering what the heck it was.

Absolutely not anything natural. This thing was right over the tower. I checked the sun reflection, i checked for fire, it was something hovering in the clear blue sky right at the top of the tower. And then if was completely gone when i came back within 3-4 min.

I became a true believer after this. I never was interested or paid attention in UFO's until after this incident. My girlfriend then also was a skeptic about many things like UFO's, but she was as baffled and changed by what we saw too.

I became friends with a guy several years later. He was a police officer in Kansas City.

We got on the topic of UFO's and he told of his experience over a lake in Pomona, Kansas....Lake Pomona. He was fishing very early in the morning....3 am.....standing in his waders out in the water in a brushy area. He said a UFO came over the lake and it was as bright as if it was 12 noon. He hid in the bushes for a very long time before it went away. Hearing this story just really made me believe I saw something that wasn't from here.

My friend and I were walking down a long path from the beach back to the parking lot. We were enjoying the crystal clear starry night. We saw what we thought was a plane. But, it had only a circle of white lights around it. No colored, or blinking lights. And there was no sound. It was going west to southeast in a straight path, but much faster than a plane. My friend said, "It must be a satellite." I said, "But it seems very low to be a satellite." We watched it keep it's steady linear pace for about 30-45 seconds, and then voom, it disappeared. "Where is it?" my friend asked. "Wow, It's completely out of sight and gone!"

Did we just see a UFO? I think so.

IN MID-JULY 1973 MY MOM, BABY BROTHER, AND MYSELF WAS DIGGING UP THE FRONT YARD FLIPPING THE SOD WHEN I GOT THIS FEELING AS IF SOMETHING WAS TELLING ME TO TURN AROUND. SO I STOPPED TURN 180 DEGREES BEHIND ME . I COULD SEE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME THE FRONT OF THIS LARGE SUPER BRIGHT OBJECT JUST ABOVE THE TREES ON MONTERAY STREET APPROACHING MY THREE NEIGHBORS HOUSES ACROSS THE STREET. IT THE TRAVELING FROM THE EAST GOING WEST AT THIS CREEPIN SPEED THERE IS NO NOISE OR EXHAUST FROM THIS OBJECT. NOW I CAN SEE THAT IT'S FLAT SAUCER SHAPE WITH NO VISUAL OF SEAMS, WINDOWS, OR DOORS........JUST A BRIGHT LIKE THE SUN BUT IT DID'NT HURT YOUR EYES TO LOOK UPON IT. I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT UFO'S BEFORE THE SIGHTING, AND I REALLY DID'NT START RESEARCHING UFO-UFS OR ALIENS UNTIL MY SECOND CLOSE ENCOUNTER OF THE THIRD KIND......UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL 2 YEARS LATER ON THE SAME STREET..... In the extream distance we saw something gray about the size of a small box and something white like a net or trailing smoke falling and from the sky going towards Pine Island or possibly Sanibel Captiva Island.

At approximately 6:40 p.m. Monday, February 28th, 2006 my son and I were traveling home to the N.E. Cape Coral, FL. The sun was beginning to make its way down and the sky had began to turn a beautiful clear blue...when my son and I noticed what appeared to be a jet stream coming from what we at first thought was an aircraft which would normally not be unusual except this time instead of white smoke coming from the rear we noticed it had a very strange yellow orange gold glow to it. We thought perhaps it was a jet that was in trouble...because we saw a burst of what appeared to be flames. My son and I watched as it appeared to fall only extreamly slow...for 5 straight minutes we watched as it seemed to only move an inch and then we noticed another burst it appeared to be stopped or stalled. It was just a glowing orange streak. Then to the left we noticed another burst then a new streak going very slow like the other only smaller and it went in an upward direction. Then strangly to the near right of the first one another gold orange yellow glow and then another orange streak falling very close and very slow towards one another. The streaks were like claw scratches on a perfectly peaceful blue canvas. Within another 5 min. there were three streaks all moving towards one another then away and then were gone. At approximately 6:58 p.m. we saw a grey box like object and something white like a net or trailing smoke making it's way down from the sky towards Pine Island. It was very strange to watch. As the streaks disappeared the stars became visible through the blue which steadily turned into another gorgeous Cape Coral sunset with its orange, pink and red skys. Would love to know what that was? Thanks!

it was summer and me and 2 friends where "camping out" in my friend chris's back yard. as the night went on we ended up layong down in his front yard telling jokes and stuff when i noticed a plane, just a blinking light like planes have, it was someting to look at in the sky while we talked. then it stoped which i found odd, and my friend konrad asked if ne one eles saw that, i said i did but did not. we told him that the plane's lights just stoped blinking. then a few seconds later it appeared again a little furter down the street and was pointed out by one of us, we all looked and then it stoped again only to start again almost where i first noticed it. it then went up, it had ben going left to right, then it went back down and to the right a little and then tore ass to the left until out view was blocked by some trees. we all got a little freaked and went into the house and talked about it and decided that it wasnt a plane cause it make some odd turns and went at speeds alot faster then a plane, we think, it was high in the sky so exact measurements are hard to do and we were young they were maybe 12 i was about 8 or 9. and also decided that it wasnt a helicopter cause there was no noise. i think i mentioned all the important fact.

It couldn't have been more than about 8-10 feet wide and maybe 4-5 feet tall... about the size of a Volkswagon Beetle. The lights were multiple, rotating colors including red, green, white, yellow and (I think) blue. The lights were SO bright that you really couldn't see a specific shape. There was also no noise or sound whatsoever and it was extremely fast, seemingly to go from the upper atmosphere to almost ground level in a matter of seconds, because when I first noticed it, it looked like a pulsing star far away.

Again, it was about 8-10 feet wide and about 4-5 feet tall (depth). We come to this measurement by comparing it with the back of the truck (when it was right on our bumper).

It was around 9:00 PM and my husband and I and our 4 year old son were going to run up to the store. We were on Cherokee Trail heading into town (Tallassee) when I pointed and said "look at that beautiful star" (way up in the eastern/south eastern sky) and just about as soon as I said that, the "star" zoomed (for lack of a better word) to about 20 or 30 yards away from us, running parallel to our truck at about tree-top level. It continued to follow us for about 2 miles and it changed speeds to stay in course with us (when we slowed it slowed, when we sped up, it sped up). This whole time my husband and I were discussing what it could possibly be and the suggestion of a helicopter or some kind of aircraft came up so we decided to stop to see if we could hear anything or just to check it out. When we stopped it went down about 50 yards in front of us (it was still parallel with us at this time) then it came over the top of the trees and hovered in the middle of the road about 50 yards in front of us and just sat there (kind of like some sort of stand-off). We rolled our windows down to see if we could hear anything and there was no sound at all. We sat there for about a minute and that's when we began to get seriously scared. So we turned the truck around and we proceeded to go back towards our house and then it started following us, getting closer and closer to our bumper. My husband continued to accelerate and we got upwards about 90 mph and by that time it was within inches of our bumper. We continued that speed all the way back to the house, then we turned right into the driveway and it turned left and went over behind some trees about 100 yards away. We got out of the truck and I ran our son inside. My husband claims that he could see still see its lights through the trees. My husband soon came inside also. Then we went back out and it was gone. We went into town later that night and asked the gas station clerk if she had seen anything or if anyone else had come in with strange sightings and she said no. We were the only ones on that road that night also. And evidentally no one else saw what we did because there was never any mentions of any strange activity that night.

Umm I watched it from my backyard facing North. More northwest. It changed locations slowly, very slowly. It wanted to look like a star I guess. I watched it for about 3 hours. I have video and pictures.In pictures it was not a white light but a bright red light.
