the reason it got so close i think was because it started out so subtly and cresended into something extremely hypnotic... When we later discussed this neither of us mentioned to the other the little jumping, weaving stars because we both thought that it was just our eyes playing tricks on us... but when we freaked out at the exact time it broke our hypnosis and we confirmed to eachother (laughing quite shakily) the same exact sequence of events...even the notdog was seen the same by us. He was quite upset i swerved and didnt murder that "thing"

we screamed simultameously runninr from the back of my jeep cherokee to the front- at first the brand new jeep didnt start, but it did on 2nd try and we tore out of there (with the back door wide open)- almost hitting what we later dubbed the "notdog" and if you ever say this parody of a dog you could understand... although this experience was "noiseless" there was a bass like vibration emitting not from above but from beneath us..... working with animals i know they sense these things much more severely than humans and any genre of wildlife would have fled before we even sensed danger- but the notdog lurched its asymmetrical frame into our direct path-and its face and fur!!!!!! I swerved to avoid and this thing only followed us with its emotionless asymmetrical eyes. we screamed "AAAAAAAAH" "OHMIGOD" "DIDYOUSEETHATSHIT" "JUSTGOJUSTGOJUSTGO" all the was to a lighted convient store where we ran inside so fast i think they thought we were goint to rob the place.... we told the proprieter who just laughed and stood at the glass door looking at the sky until we stopped shaking and left.

This UFO was sited at night by about 15 people, elderly and children. The object hovered 50ft above my neighbors house, everyone was quite facinated with it and asking questions as to if it were a helicopter or jet. Again, it made no noise nor wind, just a light hum; like when static electricity runs thru your body. We all made a good look at it and everybody saw the Z shape outline of it, the material reminds me of the F-117 Stealth Fighter, matte black looking. It stayed for about 5 minutes, then just started to move upward very quickly, until it was a point in space, like a star; then just like a Star Trek episode, there was a little faint light around it and it looked like it just warped to another point in space and disappeared. Everyone was then freaked out by this incident and everyone immediately went to their respective homes. We later found out from the family whose house the object was hovering over, that a pair of fighter jets had soon buzzed their house, but they were way late for the UFO. At this point the family said the kids were really scared and didn't want to go back into the house. Never saw another UFO since then! I have seen the contrails of the Aurora spy plane in California coming from the Pacific Ocean, moving eastbound extremely fast!

Since then I'm a believer, I even reserch things here and there, try to put 2 and 2 together; I know some people who used to be in the intelligence communities and heard some rumors. One being from someone in the US Navy claiming that we have an underwater secret sub base under the west side of Puerto Rico. Supposedly it was built to counter the Russians during the Cold War, who were running down to Cuba along the US Eastern seaboard trench. I 've also heard this base is used for UFO storage---USO- I guess

i couldnt make out the shape of it properly but from where i was, it looked like a kind of triangular shape, although it could have been a more stranger shape, but it was too dark looking to make out the shape properly as the sky matched the colour of the actual flying object. As it flew over my house (well not really my house but more near the next house down from mine) i could see underneath it, and i could see that it featured several yellowish whiteish lights (The same colour as a low wattage bulb light) and i could also hear its sound which was a quiet undescribable sort of moving sound. It also had 3 much smaller (flashing) lights, one on the back, and one on each of the sides. Once it got so far over my house that the roof was blocking my view of it, i ran to the other window on the opposite side of the house and i could see it again. It kept travelling until it dissapeared into the distance and obviously was no longer visible to me. Theres surely other people that also saw it because people usually come home from the town centre at about that time, but most of them are probably too drunk to see properly lol, and i just wanted to share this sighting with other people, so i chose this website.

I couldnt make out the size properly, but id say it looked quite big but it was also quite far up in the sky, id say if i was to part two fingers from one another to show the size that it appeared to be, i would say that 3-4 cm would be a good size estimation.

All there is around the area that i saw it travel across are mostly houses and buildings and also trees and like ive said already, it came from over the woods across from where i live as ive already said, although i dont know what time it actually got there (over the woods)

Before i mention my sighting, i just want to say that i am the sort of person who would never lie about something like this. I know that some people lie for attention, so i just want to let everyone reading this know that im not faking it or anything like that.

Anyway, i was in my bedroom at around 1.35am after midnight watching a tv program and the adverts came on, so i went over to the window because i was bored. It was a really clear night, there was no clouds, all the stars were in perfect view and i looked around and then noticed a really bright light over the trees that surround the woods which can be seen in the far distance from my house (I have a very large view from my house). I started looking at it and it didnt move so i thought it was a star, and it stayed like that for a few minutes. Just then it started to move, but it didnt move much, it just moved a tiny bit right from where it was before, and because of this i thought it was a helicopter (because it moved a bit like one). I kept watching it and it moved a bit more right again, but it didnt stay there for long as it started moving towards my house area. As it got closer and closer it started to look different, and as soon as it got close enough for me to see it properly, it didnt look anything like a helicopter. Shocked by this i tried to get my camcorder out to zoom in on it and film it but i realised that there was no tape in it and i didnt have enough time to find one out and then go back to the window again as it was travelling at a medium speed (like the speed of an airplane, but it didnt move anything like an airplane).

Definately not, it moved a bit like a helicopter but looked like a strange shaped flying object as ive explained before, so i know that it was definately not a helicopter or anything like that, and it was definately not an airplane either because of the way it moved and then stopped in mid air and also again because of the way it looked.

I am very interested in UFOs and space, i always have been, although i am not the sort of person to learn more and more about UFOs all the time from books and other sources. I am more interested in the universe than i am in UFOs. In fact i have a giant interest in the universe, and ever since being about 9 years old i have always bought books on planets and stars etc. I have never much really thought about UFOs although i have always had a slight fear of them.

Me and my husband were going to the in-laws one night and saw these two shiny discs-very sizable. I continued watching them and told him I thought they were following us. He thought I was crazy until he noticed they were staying right with us (they were on the passenger side). Me and him and both get very freaked so we speed up a little cause we are only about a mile from in-laws. All of a sudden he slams on his brakes......6 deer ran out infront of our car...they all came running from the same side as the shiny discs. When we finally collected ourselves from the deer jumping out in front of us we looked up to where the discs were and they were both gone. We looked all over the sky..nowhere to be found.

It was Cigar shaped and all shiny metal, you could see the sun's light reflecting off of it, there were no windows or "wings" on the u.f.o just a metal cigar aircraft hovering in the sky, I didn't see any "seams" in the metal either.

It was about 3 oclock in the afternoon, I had just gotten out of school. And it was a clear-blue-sunny day. I was coming from my uncle's house and walking through our yard (it's a big yard with no trees or building obstructing the sky) and I look up and I see it. A shiny "cigar" shaped metal aircraft in the sky. And I could see the sun's light reflecting off of it and just wondering how was it hovering like that because I didn't see any "wings" or any convientional methods of a airfcraft to be in the air like that. And just then my uncle calls me from his door and I turn to look at him and asked him did he see that and he's says "see what?" And I turn back to look at the u.f.o and it's gone just like that. I'd say it took me 2 maybe 3 seconds to ask that question and to look at that spot in the sky again and it was gone. Like a said before it was a clear-blue-sunny day, not a cloud in the sky..nothing obstructing my view or the sky it's self and it was just gone.

It was broad daylight, clear-blue sky......it was definetly "manmade" or "alienmade" and the way it dissappeared it wasn't a blimp, weatherballoon or swamp-gas

Before the sighting I always thought that we weren't the only ones in the universe but I didn't really get into it the subject. I use to watch the x-files for entertainment, but that was a bout it. But afterwards I did get into it more and I don't think they want to hurt us, I think maybe they are just observing us like zoologists observe animals

I have lost my written description which I made at the time so this is

all from memory (and not as accurate). I was with a friend, David

Hough, the driver, en-route to Death Valley, California to climb

desert peaks covered with snow. We left the San Francisco Bay area

after 2 PM on Jan. 1, 1973, and drove via way of Bakersfield thru

Mojave and California City towards Death Valley. Between 11-12PM on

the Trona Road (on the Mojave Desert) about 20 miles before Trona we

saw two red lights in the sky ahead of us thru the front windshield.

Each was the same intensity and each seemed to be a few times brighter

that the red light on would see on a helicopter that was a few hundred

yards away. They were low in the sky at perhaps 10 deg above the

horizontal but there was only sky behind them (no mountains).

The strange thing about these lights is that they appeared to remain

stationary with respect to our auto. I said nothing for many

seconds and then asked the driver (David H.) if he saw them too, and

he responded yes. I asked him to blink off the car lights to make

sure they were not reflections from our car. The red lights didn't

blink. They remained in view for several minutes. Then as we got

close to the junction with state highway 178, the road curved and they

were no longer visible. But then after we drove on 178 about a mile

or two, I looked out the side window to the north and saw what

appeared to be the same 2 red lights which appeared to have landed on

the desert floor (about a half-mile away ??). I thought of asking the

driver to stop so we could get a better look at them, but was afraid

that if we stopped, the objects might bother us. I had read about

UFO's doing such things. I only observed them on the desert floor for

less than a minute as the view of them was blocked by terrain (hills)

as we drove towards Trona.

Many minutes later, as we were driving N. on route 178, I saw a

display of "falling flares" over the Argus Mountains to the west.

The display was red, but were not a bright as the red lights

previously seen. It looked like falling fireworks with many little

red glowing spots falling towards the ground and then erratically

turning dark after they had fallen say 15% of the way to the ground.

The red spots seemed to be erratically shaped and perhaps changing

shape like they were glowing gas. These red spots were concentrated

into bunches grouped together and I saw a few different groups, mostly

at the same time. We continued driving to Ballarat (ghost town) with

no more UFO-like observations.

Also, the sighting is not a very good one as it could have an other explanation: helicopters, flares. But if so, why didn't the Naval Weapons Center respond to my letter to them

I was camping out with my brother Isaac and my friends and a couple of his friends and i went back to go get a flashlight so we can tell ghost stories....and when I turned around my brother and I saw this strange object. It was a tringular shape and it had yellow lights. It was still. It was in one spot for about 1-2 minutes then it took off really slow then about 2 minutes later it was gone. It blinked then it was gone. It was like it was there but then it wasnt. I cant really describe it. I wasnt sure if it was what I thought. I was 10 years old and I cant describe it to people who dont believe. None of our friends would believe us if we told them. Thats why I keep it quiet because you cant talk to people who dont believe.

Before I thought it was a made-up story but after what I saw I new it was real. There are other living things out there. We're not the only living things. I think the goverment needs to stop thinking they can cover up the stories and the evidence of the UFO's. They know things we dont know. I just hope that one day we'll prove that there is aliens.

all the information is listed above but i was staying at a member of my family's when i sighted the object. then not to my knowledge was informed my sister said to have sighted the same thing in summer last year. it had very distinctive colours, large white lights and very small red/orange lights inbeween. this was a still object then by the time had blinked it was shooting off into the clouds.

At approximately 3:45 AM on 20 Jan 2006, I observed a string of lights descending from the sky behind a line of trees. The lights were mostly red but the leading light was white. The string appeared to be lining a circular object, but I was seeing it at an angle. The arc of the light was similar to the outer edge of the "Nike Swoosh" but rotated 180 degrees. I was in a vehicle heading down a road between the trees. When I first saw it, I stopped the vehicle and turn off all the lights so I could see it better. I tried to take a picture with my cell phone camera, but could not get it out and ready before it descended behind the trees. The object was headed in a northern direction, having just crossed into Chesapeake, Virginia from North Carolina. The sighting was near The Great Dismal Swamp. Within 5 minutes of the sighting, 2 fighter jets came flying in from the direction of the Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach, VA. The jets flew past me and circled back around in the same area that the lights were sighted.

Prior to the sighting I have always believed that there has to be some other life forms somewhere in the universe, but not sure if I would believe someone else if they told me they saw something. After I saw this and the way it looked and with the jets appearing minutes later, it kind of freaked me out and I can't get it out of my head.
