i feel to tell you the story of my grand fathers alien contact,our grand father used to tell us these storys regarding his contact with a disc shaped object landing near his villages mountain region,he used to draw this disc shape and tell us that great sages resided in them.my grand father was a farmer with less knowledge of these things,as usual he was looking after his cattle which was near the mountain he noticed a sage doing meditation under the tree...my grand father gave respects to him and asked him from which place did he come from the sage pointed at the sky and said from the distant stars.....the sage asked to follow him so my grand father followed him to the top of the mountain ,my grand father said he saw a big vimana the sage asked him to enter inside, my grand father went inside and was astonished to see many sages inside it doing deep meditation.. he was asked to sit on a golden chair, and he was offered some fruits to eat...the sage later asked my grandpa do you know where are you now? he replied inside your vimana,he asked the sage to allow him to see around he went inside several rooms inside made of gold but it looked different..he did not understand a thing only he could analyse its beauty ....the sage asked my grand father to notice a strange mirror like thing hanging over the wall the mirror started showing all the gods automatically on it and later he saw his own village and his house all the people of his village he was really amazed to see himself his family on the mirror,my grand father was 14 years old at that time....the sage said you can also see past present and future inside that mirror...my grand father was so excited that he wanted to see his future he was shown his entire life which he couldn't withstand....later he was told that to see some thing more they showed him similar mirror like things will be available at every home in this country soon....they were nothing but Tv's.....they also showed him some thing unexplained about the planet earth getting destroyed by a chain of massive earth quakes killing many people...the frequency of earthquakes of great disaster he was also shown that open ground volcanic eruptions in entire portion of india ,india will be torn into pieces due to great earth quakes and open ground volcanos, and to add to their disaster a giant wave so high that will rise through indian ocean will submurge entire country in 15 minutes, not even a single trace of human or any other survival will be seen.....india will be the first country to get destroyed,the whole world will notice this disaster helplessly, my grand father was told that it will happen slowly starting from small earth quakes to very large ones between 2000 to 2014 by that time india will not be in the map of world. this chain of disasters will continue to other countries slowly wiping the entire human race.......though our grand father is no more he died in 1982...what ever he said is happening....the chain of earth quakes he was shown are really happenning the great three big earthquakes which he saw will occur between 2006 and 2014 first big earth quake will wipe out 40percent of indian population and the rest due to open ground vocanic eruptions never seen in the history before........

I was woken up by a jet like sound near my home. This is unusual because I seldom notice any aircraft sounds over my house. I though something was going to land in my yard as it was quite loud. Then it faded and i was relieved. Yet, every 10-12 minutes it would return, sometimes a little more distant. After 40 minutes of this nonsense I went to check on it. I thought maybe a police helicopter but I could not hear the rotors turning and have witnessed the helicopters overhead before.

I finally got a glimpse of a rounded aircraft, curved slightly out on the edges but the light was bright yellow and a continuous glow. Fairly low in the south. It was as if someone had turned a flashlight or a search beam on horizontally. but there was no beam of light radiating towards earth.

It also moved extremely fast and before I knew it, it had flown over my house and was gone.

I caught a glimpse on its last flight over(always in the same direction) but this time it was extremely high in altitude and was moving at a very fast pace. Then it was gone and didn't return. It must have flown over my home about 5 times.

I was getting very annoyed as I was trying to get back to sleep. Just as I would relax, the noise would come again.

I woke my husband who was slow to rise but he did hear the jet noise but didn't get a chance to see it.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Had to be an aircraft of some sort but nothing I could recognize.

I've seen a military craft before as it was so unusual, it was a UFO to me. I didn't recognize it until I watched a tv program identifying stealth and related aircraft. I do not read UFO stories or research them. They are merely a curiosity.

Other Comments

This wasn't an ordinary plane in my opinion. Why was an aircraft that large continually circling the area at different altitudes. This is highly unusual.

I am pretty skeptical about the idea of UFOs and little green men, but I do believe we are not alone in the universe. When I first glanced at the UFO, I thought it was a jet because it was very far away. It looked like it was just sitting still in the sky. Like it was hovering or something. The color of the UFO was close to the color of the sky. At the time, the sky was an orangish yellow, because the sun was setting. I kept looking back and forth from the road to the light and it just looked the same. I looked into the back seat to look at my little boy, and when I looked back at the light, it was far ahead of me and much smaller. It slowly disappeard after that. In the distance, it looked like a redish dot, but then it disappeared. I know what I saw, and There is no other explanation for what I saw.

it was a night time and i was sleeping , then was some pug or some fly in my window , it bodred my and i woke up , to let him out of window , at that part i saw this moving star . i cant remember much , but it was a spectacular wiew . first it was like a star , then he start moving , at that part i new it was a ufo . i cant say how far he was from me first , but when it moves he moves direkly to my . then i jump up and run to next window , this ufo was about 60 or 70 meters from my house , it was a large object , its sound like a tank or something, it was very noisi . and its looke like old pfone trube , two balls and in the middle was like trub . its cind of chanche my life , now im looking in the sky a lot more and i even study and watch as much i can every kind of ufo-s.

Time was evening bettween 6;30 7;00pm daylight savings. clear skys no other aircrafts. I was sitting under the porch in the yard which i grew up in. I was 16 years old at the time. I was locked out the house waiting for mom and dad to come home. Sitting there and being very much aware of my surroundings. I heard coming from the air . What i thouht was a heliocopter. I got up from the bench i was sitting on under the porch. Stepping down two steps iwas now facing the back yard. Walking to the back yard i look up to see what is making that low humming sound, It was not a heliocopter like i thoght it was when iwas under the porch. The round silver disk with red green orange colored lights came hovering over the house. When i got to the backyard at the same time the saucer coming in from the east at about 150 to 200ft. in the air. It was about 30 to 40ft. in diameter. It was going very slow just hovering like they where waching me. The lights under saucer where lit and turning as i can tell the saucer was also turning. I was not afraid no i was intrested in them as they where me. At the same time i got out to the middile of backyard it was right over my head all lit up and turning. I reached into my pocket to get my lighter i got it out raised to the saucer lit it and saucer on its slow hovern course over the house and now over my head standing in the middle of the backyard i grew up in. The saucer made a complete movment back to where i was standing in the middle of the yard with the lighter still lit. The saucer stopped right over me well i held the lighter it houverd there for about 10sec. I held on to the lighter until the craft starded heading the it was going from east to west when it turned to the south and was gone in a few sec. aiso just before i could no longer see it the lights went out.

It was saturn-shaped, with a ring around the middle, and two blinking red lights on each end. Its color was silver-gray, dull metallic.

It was a mountain in an urban area, although there were no buildings on the mountain itself, just the radio tower. You could see the lights of the city all around this mountain, though.

I first noticed this object when working in my office around dusk. The blinking lights drew my attention to it. It was hovering over a nearby mountain, next to a radio tower. I stood there watching it for ten to fiftten minutes, then it started slowly accelerating upward in a diagonal direction. Finally, it took off at very high speeed, as fast as lightening, and was gone.

The Object was V Shaped. It had 7 lights, all of equal luminosity, all in tight, unflinching formation. The lights were just barely dimmer than the stars next to them, but they made up for it in being about 2 times larger than the most visible star in my sight. Whereas stars mostly appear to be white with a very vague blue tinge, these lights appeared to have a more orange tinge. The lights' -relative- size from where I stood was just slightly smaller than the flat end of a pencil's eraser. They were equally spaced along the object. The -relative size- of the entire object was only a bit larger than the width of three fingers put together. Body either appeared to be chameleon-like/invisible or perhaps just itself in the shape of that same V, as opposed to a more complete triangle. I would guess that its actual size was around 1/2 the size of one, average city block.

Its a park just off of my neighbourhood. Standard walking park: benches, trees, bike path. The ridge I was on overlooks a more forested area and the Bow River. It also has a groovy view of the downtown core. There are no power plants, military bases, anything of that nature, etc. near the park.

I was walking my dog along Lynnwood Ridge at around 7:55 PM. It was entirely uneventful for the first five minutes. At 8:00 I started looking up at the stars because the dog was just sniffing at the ground contentedly. And because I happen to like stars. So, I'm staring up at the sky, directly East, wishing I knew what bloody constellation I was staring at, when suddenly I note something moving in between the patch of stars. It was 7 lights forming a distinct V-Shape, and it was moving slowly away from me (its point was directed away from me). It was completely, ABSOLUTELY silent.

My first thought: "An Airplane. Surely it must be!" (Well, actually, my first thought was, "Why the hell is that constellation moving? Stars don't do that, right?") So I focus and examine it, and it is NOTHING like an airplane. I know, as I saw one 4 minutes prior. Unlike an airplane, this object's body was completely, well, invisible. It blended seamlessly onto the backdrop of the night sky, except for the 7 lights. The lights were all of an equal luminosity, and they stayed in their V shape consistently, which led me to believe they all comprised one object, as opposed to a fleet of smaller ones. As I watched the object for a couple seconds longer, it struck me that there was absolutely no sound resonating from it. Not anything: No roar of engines, no sound of vague humming, no -anything-. One never would've spotted it from following their ears, so I was bloody lucky I chose that instant to look at the sky!

I watched the object for awhile longer, and the lights seemed to dim a bit, as it got harder to follow it with my gaze. After looking away a moment (to peer at my dog, who was still blissfully sniffing the ground), I looked back up and was unable to find it. Absolutely stunned, and also quite amused, I start giggling like a schoolgirl and rushed back home, befuddled dog at my side.

NOW: Since that was mostly rambling and not a good description of the object, herein lies a complete summarization of details about it (including that which I already mentioned):

Before the incident I had an interest in UFO's (as well as an interest in most anything paranormal), and generally believed that such objects existed, though I rarely think of their origins (because, ack, aliens give me the willies), as obviously such a large amount of sightings from such a large array of people can't -all- be false. Afterwards, its essentially the same, except, wee, I have a story of my own to share now. Hurrah! Before my sighting, I read about UFOs on occasion; maybe once every 2 months or so.
