I woke to get a drink of water and noticed a reflection of light in the yard. There is an Oats Processing plant just west of us and I thought they were active that night but just their building lights were on. Curious to the reflection source I noticed a movement darting across the sky. Thinking it was a low flying plane I then noticed there was no sound. I grabbed my digital camera and took pictures towards the light source. It moved (me facing west) back and forth South / North , somewhat on the horizon line , with one strange small light staying stationary in the North. There had been meteors reported earlier that evening around 9pm (12th) from BC to Seattle coast line, however in the 16 photos I took , it is clear this is not a meteor and its' flight path zig zags. What is strange more so , is the Oat plant's lights that I can visually see - are not captured on the photo, nor are any stars that were out that night. Kodak Camera 3200 captured a trace light. Strange. If you zoom in on photo, you can notice a hat shape white source, with trails of color.

Itwas about 8 o clock at night and i was taking my dog for a walk and i saw it for the first time 5 of us saw it all together a disk shaped object flying through the sky it had 3 lights blue green and yellow. mydog started barking and i looked up and saw it. it was not making a lot of noise but i could see it clearly it was a dark black colour. i got home and rung the police but they did not belive me but this is the truth please help me.

It was a large rectangular object. the outline was where stars were blotted out. in the middle the stars were distorted. on each of the four corners it had a light. as it moved the stars along the edge dotted out and came back in.then it was over the thing turned around there was a small shimmer and it was gone!

Full Description & Details

I was living in some apartments at the time. I was outside on a warm summer evening having a cigarette with the neighbor. We were chatting casually near a pool that was surrounded by bright sconces and also lit up by a submerged pool light. Suddenly he stopped mid-sentence and looked up into the sky and said, "What the hell is that?"

I looked up and saw a spherical object moving slowly, but steadily south. It was completely black and was only able to see it because it was extremly shiny and reflected the light from the pool area back at us. At first, I thought it was a black balloon, but a balloon would have bobbed to and fro. Plus there wasn't any breeze to note that night and this object was moving fast enough that it had to have its own form of locomotion. Also, it was bigger than a balloon and moved in a completely steady and intentional manner.

My neighbor and I stood there watching it in completely silence as it passed overhead. It didn't make a sound. As it passed us and was moving away, it seemed as though it accelerated gradually--just enough so that from our perspective it maintained a constant visual velocity across the sky.

After it passed out of sight, my neighbor and I agreed on what we saw and we both saw the same thing. Neither of us had seen anything like that we couldn't explain.

Please feel free to contact me about more information regarding this sighting. I didn't report it earlier due to not knowing about sites like this and thinking that it wasn't significant. Was mentioning it to someone the other day and they urged me to report it to a place like this.

I felt a drawing wasn't necessary, since all we saw was a shiny, reflective, black sphere. Pretty easy to imagine, but probably tough to draw ;)
