I was visiting Gomera in 1978 (or 77 or 79) in the month of may - Valle Gran Rey is due west and has a small fishing community and few small tourist hostels at the time. I was around 25 then.

Every evening the tourists and many locals gather at a wall that stretches approx 1 km along the shoreline to watch the sunset. It was a totally clear day, no clouds, a not very spectacular sunset. About 30 seconds after the sun had sunk beneath the horizon at an unknown distance a white ball of unknown absolute size comes up from the ocean and hovers for 1 minute about 2 degrees above the water. The relative size of the object is 1.5 times the suns diameter. It glows in shining white light, a perfect sphere. a beam of white light exactly the width of the objects diameter shines down to the water. No sound from the object can be heard. It then takes off in a 160 degree angle (to the left and up) leaving a white glowing tail behind that slowly fades. This tail is absolutely straight (no flames) and remains straight until it fades away during about 2-3 minutes. Many people take fotos (I dont). The locals remain very calm. everybody else is slightly hysteric. Next day the local (spanish) paper has an article with photos.

I do not know if this is a real UFO or just something normal as a bird or something ordinary.I can not give aprox size of the object because wa very far and I had nothing to compare it with.I have noticed it only when I downloaded the pictures in my computer. It was moving pretty fast because in the next picture a few seconds away it is gone.

My wife and I were visiting some friends at their home in Anchorage Alaska. At that time we lived about 45 miles outside of town in a little ski village at Mt. Alyeska. We were leaving their home but when we got in the jeep it was a C5 jeep, I said to my wife we need to get gas or we might not make it home. We started to drive to a gas station when for no reason I felt like we needed to hurry home and I sped out of town. My wife asked me why I didn't want to stop to get gas and I simply said I think we can make it, she argued with me and even though it was about 11:00p.m. and there was no special reason to be in a huuy I felt rushed. We were driving, following the road which curved around a body of water called Turnagain Arm. Suddenly my wife said "what is that?". I looked up into the sky and saw some lights in the distance that seemed to be moving very fast in in our direction. At that moment in never even crossed my mind that it was a UFO. It then swooped down and was hovering about twenty feet above our jeep and was moving at the same speed as we were. My wife said "what is that and I leaned forward over the steering wheel and looked up. I was in shock and I said "screw me, thats a UFO". It appeared to be round about five or six times bigger then our jeep. It had red and green lights around the outside shining down and revolving around its exterior but it lite up all the ground all around us with white light. My wife was braver then me and seemed to be enjoying it but I was scared stiff. It kept pace with us for several miles when it just took off over the hills to our left. There was a dirt road and my wife yelled at me to follow it. I said no we will run out of gas, she was not happy that I wouldn't follow it but there was no way. We talked about it all the way home. We wondered who we should call but decided no one would believe us. We did make it home but on fumes and we called our friends whose home we were at eralier but they acted like we were nuts when we told them what we saw. We stayed up for several hours talking about it. The next day in the paper there was an article that said starnge lights seen in the sky.

My wife and I had no doubt that what we saw was a UFO. It happened twent years ago but I will never forget what we saw. The reason I decided to send this too you is because quite by chance I am reading one of John Keels books and I am amazed at how many of the experiences he reports sounds like the one we had.

One final thing, my wife and I are a bit different I am a Catholic and so believe in things not always seen. My wife on the other hand is a very matter of fact practical person. What makes this experience so real is the fact that she believes it was a UFO. This is something that before this experience happened to us she would have strongly denied.

Half the size of a football field, flying low towards us then above us, spining very slowly, made a sound like a hum crossed with a hoover, me and my girlfriend becamet very warm.

I saw 2 bright lites heading towards one another in a straight line when they where about to collide they circled around each other completly heading off in a straight line opposite from one another in a complete straight line. these lights where larger than stars and didnt blink and where

white in color. there was no variasion in color only white.they didnt look like a plane.

It was a very clear night with no cloud cover, I looked out of my bedroom window before going to bed and noticed, at first four red and whiteflashing lights in the direction of the Sheffield area, Ifirst thought that the objects were aircrafts but by the way they were moving I soon realised that this was not the case. The lights seem to at first follow each other very close together but then split off into different directions. They all stayed close to the horixon not going very far into the night sky. they were changing direction very fast and accelerating at very fast speeds. I then noticed that one of the lights became very bright and on looking at it through a apair of benoculas noticed it had two very bright lights that looked light headlights but they would come on for about 5 seconds and then faid away. After about 16 mins of looking at the objects I noticed there were six seperate objects all flying in random directions but very close to each other at some point nearly hitting each other. after watching themforapprox 30 mins one by one they faded away and did not return. What a site it was and I will be looking again every night to see if they appear again.

It was Friday night.Cloudy outside with a light drizzle of rain.I was sitting in livingroom area watching TV when out of my right eye I saw a big bright burgundy colour object moving slowly twords the ground.As I jump up and ran twords my livingroom bay window I called for my Husband to come right away and see this.He came and saw nothing at that point, then I discribed to him what I just saw.Then out of no where another shot upward out of the ground and rised up at least 100 feet or less and went twords the ground and then another one shot upward twords the sky and came back down onto the open field area in back of my house.All three were large round burning balls of fire , like the size of a full moon.Not red, not yellow, or green, but Burgundy colour.Never have seen anthing like this ever before.I wanted to call police, but my Husband thought that the Police would think we were nuts and would not believe us at all.Since then I have told 2 other friends of this sighting.

Full Description & Details

We (my friend and I) were drinking some beer when we saw strange light hovering around above the houses. I immidiatly ran inside, took my camara, and shot some pictures. But what was very strange, was that you could only see a blur light on the picture. We took about five foto's and you can see only this on one picture. On the other pictures is nothing to see.
