Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Other than the running light from side to side, It was lit up by the city light that it was hovering over. I did not observed any other light source.

I was larger than a B-727 ( I was a flight attendant at the time so I had some frame of reference)

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

I was less than a 1/2 city block away from it. It was hovering roughly 50 feet off the ground.

I think it was hovering over a transformer on the street.

Full Description & Details

It was an early evening, I had driven to get a hamburger. on the way back down Magnoia Ave. I noticed that 2 people on opposite sides of the street were stopped dead both looking up at something. I looked in the general direction, but at first didn't see anything. I turned the corner onto Carter St. and there it was. It was a boomerang shaped UFO hovering over a transformer. I got so excited, I tried honking the horn so my husband would come out and look, but the horn didn't work. I ran into the house to get him which didn't take very long. When we ran back outside it was nowhere to be seen. I saw the complete underside of it from approximately 1/2 block away. It was distinctly metallic with hatches and portholes on the underside. It had a sweeping light in the front that ran from side to side. The machine was TOTALLY silent. I KNOW that we STILL don't have that kind of technology. It was larger than a jet plane and didn't resemble anything that I have ever observed before.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Definitely not of our earth technology.

After seeing one this close first-hand. I have NO DOUBT that we are being visited by an other -worldly visitor.

I wish there had been sights like this years ago so I could have recorded this event at the time it happened. Now, I'm not even sure of the year it happened so long ago.
