Glowing redish orb, cloudy day so it was not very reflective.

Around 10' high by about the same in length. The size of a small truck.

Urban area, close to a lake inlet. Military airbase 10km away.

Saw a red glowing orb darting erractically way above me - then it took off at high speed.

It was about the size of a small truck, very high in the sky, moved super fast and I estimate it was a round 10' high in size.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Did not behave man-made, way too fast, and disappeared!
