It was cloudy and raining so all i saw was a very faint white light above the clouds.

They were right over head about 500 feet high less than a 1/4 mile from where i was standing.

I heard 2 different "ships" overhead. They were were going very fast as I could hear them one at a time slicing through the air. Like the sound a very fast baseball makes only louder. Kinda sizzling through the atmosphere. There was no engine noise of any kind. The sky was cloudy so i could only see a very faint light as they passed overhead. I asked other people but no one else saw anything. Just before the sighting I did hear a jet landing at Standiford Field. Its like the ufos were following the jet and after it landed they took off at an incredible speed. First one then the other.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
