I was smoking outside when I saw a faint glow of light in the sky. I walked ~100meters away from the streetlights to see better. First I recognised 5-6 seperate lights in the sky, but after my eyes got more used to the darkness I saw that there was at least 8 lights in the form of a triangle.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No airplane would fly so low in here and with so bright lights. The formation also excludes possibility of some things.
