Appearance / Description of Object(s)

A regular balloon - a party balloon. It was a dark object. The thing is, I kept watching because it wasn't close enough to be a balloon from that far away. It seemed to be black, oval & really fast. I can not give a size because I don't know how far away it was, but I absolutely saw it!

Female, right index and possibly middle finger. It's been a while. I thought it was close but it wasn't. Sorry. I'm not good with distances.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

It was low enough for me to think I was looking at a regular child's balloon. Then it moved.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Urban. I believe there is a military base close by which is why I never reported it, but the more I watch these shows - I'm convinced it was NOT military from our planet.

Full Description & Details

I was in the swimming pool where I was living. I like to float on my back & while doing so, I noticed what I thought was a black balloon. It didn't seem to be that far away or high up , just hanging there, like a party balloon that got loose. I watched it for a while trying to see if it was what I thought - then it ZOOMED off to the right. REALLY fast. It hung there for a few mins, and then ZOOMED down back to where it was originally - but lower - then it just disappeared! I never took my eyes off of it.

I was so amazed, I didn't have time to holler for anyone to come and see, but it seemed to me at the time - it knew I was watching it.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

NO!!! I was 49 yrs old and I'm kind of smart.

Witness Background

I was a cosmetologist - a very good one, won every contest I entered. Then I accidentally got into computers and became an IMB computer operator in the late 70s & mid 80s., then I taught my self programming and became a main-frame programmer. I assisted writing proposals for an engineering company. Then my 25 year old daughter died in my face from cancer. I don't work anymore. I'm writing a few books.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I have always believed that is virtually impossible for us to be the ONLY living intelligent species in our vast sky's. I was SO amazed seeing this. It has changed my entire perspective on our existence and almost everything that has happened and is happening.
