UFO Sighting Report

Summary:
Driving on my motorcycle about 2AM very dark about 17 miles from Key west.I looked up to the east and i saw a white light alt about 2500 feet. I slowed to a stop to see what it was thinking it was just a halo from Boca cheeca Navel Air base, I always like watching them fly over head,but there was no sound it was so close i could see the beams of light going into the clouds then when it got almost over head it was gone like it had turned off its light.I then was very confused by the fact that there was no sound and it seemed to vanish.

Appearance / Description of Object(s)round head light or spot light looking about the size of a quarter. Size of Object(s)quarter size from where i was so the light had to be about 10ft radius. Distance to Object(s) & Altitude500 foot from me about 2,500 ft high up. Description of Area / SurroundingsBoca Cheeka NAS also i could see NASA launches from Cape Canaveral sometimes.the area is urban but spars. Full Description & Detailswhite light like an over sized aircraft light going in and out of the cloud cover, about 2,500 ft up got almost over head and it was gone not a plane because it was to lowe and big with no sound and i also watched many Mosquito planes over head and it was not that. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?yes plane but made no sound no other lights Witness Backgroundself employed US Army vet Views on UFOs, before and after sightingi just don't know what it was.
