Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It changed shape. However, it started off as an ovalish shape, then it split into two orbs, then into three, each one consectutively bigger than the other.

Relative size: an inch across Actual size: it/they were much bigger than a commercial jet, probably double the size, so it/they were probably 430 feet in length.

It was a park, there are few houses down in valley, and one street.

It was twilight. I was hiking in the foothills of Morrison, Colorado, when I saw three lights in the southeast sky hovering over the city of Denver. I ran to my truck, grabbed my camera, and by the time I started filming, only two lights remained: they glowed an amber color, unlike commercial aircraft, and they stayed still.

Then, one of them began to move: it split into two, raced across the sky underneath the other one, and then it transformed into three objects. It went behind a hill and I lost sight of it. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

At first I thought it might be a herrier jet, or an experimental aircraft, but then the object split in two, and then in three, and then I really hd no explanation for what it could be.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I've believed in UFO's ever since I saw some with my friends when I was a kid. I think they're either man-made or extraterrestrial. I've read a few books on mysteries and UFO's.

Other Comments

I filmed a UFO in the town adjacent to this location (Morrison) back in November (11/28/11 to be exact). The lights were similar, but these lights split.
