Size of Object(s)size of a star Distance to Object(s) & Altitudevery high up the lights were so high up that you could not see any sort of shape Shape of Object(s)small lights in a triangular formation Color of Object(s):white Full Description & DetailsIn August of 2003 I was lying outside of my house looking at the stars. It was a clear sky with no clouds. I then noticed 3 white lights in a perfect triangular formation just above me. They were the same size as stars and if you did not look carefully one would probably not have seen them. It could not have been any plane because the lights were unblinking. It moved across my field of vision until a tree got in the way. I moved to the other side of the tree and was unable to pick it up again. It made no outrageous maneuvers but continued on a rather slow and tedious flight path. The only thing that I can think of that it could have been is a sattelite but I don't know anything about sattelites. I think I saw one when something shot above my house. It was very low and the objects lights were about the size of an airplanes. I had my back to my house and the object covered the distance from above my head to the horizon in about 5 seconds. It was low though so that is probably why it was faster than the object I had seen. A response on if the triangular lights could have been a sattelite would be appreciated.
