Size of Object(s)star Distance to Object(s) & Altitude20-40 miles Shape of Object(s)star Color of Object(s):star-like but reflected the sun when turning Full Description & Details At 2:00am on a Tuesday in June, I was laying on the couch looking at the sky, straight up, through the window. I had just slept 8 hours and my mind was clear as a bell. And, I was not listening to either kind of music, country or western. But, there were five stars of equal brightness, "normal" star brightness, near the intersection of the handle and ladle of the big dipper. Then I saw fast moving star-like object, same brightness, cruising at a constant speed, from east to west. It was very fast, but much slower than a shooting star. I figured it was the space shuttle or some Russian space trash headed out of the galaxy. Then I saw it! One of the five stationary stars suddenly accelerated south, towards the path of the first object, that just went by. It intersected its path at a right angle. When it got up to that path, it made a 90 degree right-hand turn, almost at full speed and then it accelerated in one surge almost crashing into the first object. It corrected it's speed in a rapid, out of control fashion. Two things were significant about all this. One, when it made the right hand turn, it flashed a bright golden-yellow as it caught the reflection of the sun. This reaffirmed the realness of the event, in my mind. And two, by the way it accelerated, turned, and accelerated again, you could definitely tell these beings are not in full control of these crafts! No wonder they stay way the hell away from earth! The first thought that popped into my head was "What a bunch of idiots, speeding around when they can't even drive." Then I caught myself, "Wait a minute, we're not talking California Freeway here!!!" The four other "stars" did not move, but in subsequent viewings, the big dipper doesn't have these stars near the intersection of the handle and ladle.
