Full Description & Details

This is so long ago- I'm 62- that the details really are foggy. What isn't obscured by time is the still absolutely vivid image of that flying saucer like craft fly silently out of that cloud right above our heads. My father, a career military man, saw it also. I was approximately 14 at the time and was standing on the steps as my parents were saying good bye to their relatives when some strange feeling caused me to look up...and there it was, right out of some cheesy sci -fi film, but very real none the less. My Dad, a hard headed type, would never have believed me, but I grabbed his sleeve and gestured for him to look up. He yelled" Oh shit" and we both ran around the house as it flew absolutely silently across a considerable expanse of open sky and then disappeared into another cloud bank. the image of that has haunted me all my life and has made me suspicious of all official pronouncements about just about anything. Something is going on, but there are those who don't want us to knowe. Ridicule is ther primary methodology, but I believe there running out of snide dismissals.
