Hi, I'd like to pitch in my story also, if I may.

I was about 10 years old (1987) when it occured. Erie Pennsylvania. I may have been young, but believe me I saw something! Up till this moment I prefered to keep quiet about it in order to avoid people giving me an odd look. But while reading your articles I see, that I am not alone. It was one of those beautiful, sunny days. Not a cloud in the sky. I was in my backyard doing whatever kids do at that age I guess. Is the feeling that someone is watching familiar to you? I guess that feeling made me look up into the sky. At the same moment I noticed that I heard nothing, no birds, no children playing in the next door backyard, nothing, even the leaves on the trees seemed motionless. Everything was perfectly still, like as if time had stopped. I looked up and saw a metal, round ball-like object. It's flight path was similar to the path of a baseball just been hit into the sky. Except it could not have been a baseball. I can not tell the hight, but it seemed a far distance. It was heading straight toward the sky and stopped at one point while maintaning a rotation movement.There were no lights, no trails behind it. And what shocked me most was the silence. After a moment of glazing at the object I dashed towards the porch of our house, up stairs where we lived to call my parents. But when I got back, it was gone and the effect of silence gone also. Everything was just as before the sighting. I'm 27 today and I know that it was not my imagination that day, that had me believing all those years, I had seen something. I remember it, as if it had happened today.
