We observed the 6 objects approaching from West in a sort of formation ie not in a line. Objects travelling fast in parallel and in a pattern that was maintained from horizon to horizon. I videod whole event and have perfect pictures of the trails but despite "zooming" in I was unable to observe any craft or object at head of vapour trail which is not the case with planes which can always be observed. This made me think objects could have been large meteors but they failed to burn out during observation but did seem to fade slightly at Eastern horizon. Upon playing back the video I again was unable to observe any objects at the head of the vapour trails. One other aspect was that the vapour trails faded quite quickly which does not happen with planes where vapour is usually slow to disperse. Likeliest explanation I feel is meteors but that does not detract from what was quite an amazing sighting.

I am neither a sceptic nor believer but have always wanted to observe or witness something unusual such as this.

I am not willing to send screen prints from video at this stage but would be willing to show video to any interested parties.
