Full Description & Details

I had just gotten a telescope for my 12th or 13th birthday thats why i put it in 67 or 68 after Jan. 18th. There most likley was a half to full moon out. Myself and a friend were

out late that night around midnight ,had to be on a friday or sat. It would be rare to be up that late at this age unless I was checking the new scope. At due east what appeared to be on or close to the horizon was a large silver white bright U.F.O. at least twice as long as a full moon. It had three dark gray spot on the underbelly evenly spaced one center the other two to either side. What makes this hard to write off is that my house was about 5 miles s.east of Wright Patterson airforce base,right under a landing flight path for mostly B-52s. They would come in so low you could see the rivets on the planes in the daylight. Well sure enough a B-52 was making its final approch right over the backyard just as the U.F.O. appeared. Its landing gears went up it powered up to full banked 180, and started to follow it, we ran down to the end of the blocks just as it zipped away straight up it was gone in about 3 seconds. The B-52 did a search pattern for about 15 min. and went back to base. In the paper the next day there was a very small 10 line account that about 300 people so a strange object in the sky that night. This is just one of 3 more sightings I have had over the last 35 years.
